Hotel is located right at the town beach and minute from the old town. Perfect for adrenaline adventures on river Cetine. Good service, great selection of food for breakfast and dinner. Rooms vary a lot, so check what kind of room you are booking - some are very small and have no balcony, so drying off clothes after swimming is a bit of a problem. We were given 2 interconnected rooms with a separate corridor where we could leave our beach toys and shoes, so this configuration worked very well for our family

Everything in this hotel surprised us. We got a big room with a beautiful view on one side of the city beach and on the other side of the harbor. The hotel is located a few meters away from the sandy beach, where sunbeds are 100 kuna per day (2 sunbeds and a parasol). There are few bars on the beach for relaxation and snacks.
Great room, long balcony, no kettle, mini bar.
Staff very friendly and relaxed. We liked it so much that we took another extra night, so we stayed 4 days.
Breakfast and dinner were à la carte because of the covid situation which was great because everything you ordered was brought to your table. In dinning area the guests of the hotel sat in the seating order determined by hotel staff on your arrival.
The rooftop has an outdoor jacuzzi.
Very satisfied with the hotel and highly recommend it!

This is probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. In this part of Croatia covid measures are taken very seriously and we felt very safe. The main restaurant serves buffet meals and again, the quality was excellent- wide choice of hot and cold foods and freshly cooked. The only problem was that I wanted to have a bit of everything and ate far too much over the week! Our room wasn’t big but it was adequate size and very comfortable. The friendly cleaners were brilliant. We paid a little extra for the balcony and sea view which was worth every penny. We watched the stunning sunset every evening. By the way our room had a mini bar/fridge and tea /coffee making facilities which were very welcome! Drinks weren’t expensive.
All the staff are friendly and helpful. We stayed in mid October so the weather was pleasant rather than hot, but the hotel is well placed for sight seeing. Buses to split and Marskara run very regularly from the main road three minutes away.
We didn’t use the wellness centre but did go up to the rooftop sunbathing area and used the jacuzzi. You get a stunning view of both the sea and the canyon. The only thing we missed was an indoor lounge area - the coffee shop is open till late and there’s a beach bar but sometimes you just want to chill on a sofa with a book and it gets cold outside on October evenings.
I’d thoroughly recommend this hotel for couples or friends as it’s a good and comfortable base for seeing the area, with an amazing breakfast to start the day! Not anything to do for children if it’s not beach weather though. Half board worked well for us as the food is so good.

It’s situated in a superb position right in the town and on the beach at the same time.

The bedroom s were spotless and roomy, and there was a huge choice hot and cold for breakfast.

All Covid guidelines were followed. I can’t thank the reception staff enough for firstly helping us get Covid test, providing all the possible information about the town and lastly helping print a ticket that I was having huge technical dramas with.

A fantastic hotel and the staff are a credit.

It was the bet hotel I have even been so far.
It is easy to get from the airport to the hotel just by the bus. I took bus number 37 from airport Split to the main station in split and then bus number 60 to omis. It was like 4 minutes walking from the station to the hotel.
When we arrived we got one free voucher for dinner at the hotel. It was nice surprise, the dinner was excellent, we could chose from loads of different kind of food, from chicken to fish, different salads, lasagnas, pastas, pizzas, vegetables.
The room was super clean. It was first time when I arrive somewhere and I didn’t have this urge to clean everything before I use for example a shower or a toilet. The airco is working very good. There’s small fridge, towels, shower gel, soap. The stuff is very friendly. Finally when we didn’t ask for the room cleaning, nobody did it (I had it a lot of times when I hung the note “don’t disturb” somebody was walking in and cleaning anyway..)
There’s jacuzzi at the hotel.
Drinks and desserts are at the bar, prices are good, quality of the drinks are really great.
Behind the hotel there is a beach with a bit sand on it, couple of bars so you can every time sit at the different place.
It was very quiet at the hotel, specially in the night.
I would really recommend this hotel to everyone, I am so glad I could come here!

Lovely, modern clean hotel with exceptional, friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is situated right next to the beach which is clean and has several well priced beach bars all along it. We had a premium room and the view from the balcony was lovely. The breakfast is very well presented and has a huge choice. Seating for meals is spacious and well attended by staff for plate clearing. Sun beds for the outside area are available as are beach towels that can be collected from reception. The town is very nice, very clean and the old town area is beautiful. There is plenty to do if you want boat rides, tours etc however, also sitting drinking at the town bars/cafes is relaxing. We took a day trip to Split, which due to traffic took over an hour and a half. It was heaving and although Split was very nice, it was a nightmare getting there. Please DO NOT use the bus service provided by Promet Makarska. Awful service, late, very poor driving and a total disregard for passengers. (See my review). You’re better off taking the 60 bus or an Uber. We ate out every night and the food we ate was very good and very well priced. Lots to choose from. A very good week away in a lovely little, historic town on the Adriatic.

Stayed here for a week in June and in all honesty it ticked all the boxes for what we needed therefore couldn't really fault this place at all.
Ideally situated on the beach (grainy but clean and wonderful water, especially safe for young children) Staff were friendly and efficient and rooms were not the biggest but fine for a couple and 7 nights, also spotlessly clean.
Definitely a recommendation for us

This is a lovely hotel in a great location. The hotel is very clean and the staff are friendly. We stayed half board. The food was excellent with a great choice for both breakfast and dinner. We caught the number 60 bus 4 euros each way into the beautiful city of Split and also a boat ride up the Cetina river 10 euros. Sunbeds and umbrellas on the beach are between 7 to 10 euros each.

Great hotel right on the beach and just a short walk to the lovely winding medieval street with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Our room was well appointed if a little small but had a lovely balcony with a sea view. Hotel was immaculate and staff always very helpful. Great restaurant with lots of choice at both breakfast and dinner.
Only two negatives I would mention. I am surprised that a hotel of this size and quality doesn’t have a pool, even if it is on the beach and the biggest surprise of all is they charge to use their sun beds. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively over many years and have never been charged to use sun beds in the hotel I am staying at. Very strange.
That being said, I had a fantastic time at the Plaza Omis and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

As a family of four this was our first trip to Croatia and we were not disappointed. The people are courteous and tolerant. Although my attempts at speaking some Croatian words fell short of the mark, the vast majority of staff everywhere spoke English to a good standard to compensate. The daytime temperatures ranged from 30 to 37 degrees C, so warm, but not difficult to deal with, particularly as the sea was so close by. The hotel was excellent, our rooms were clean and air conditioned, the staff very helpful, the food wonderful (we stopped half-board) and the location was perfect for Omis, the beach and to pick up excursions. Overall very happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend, the place and the hotel. Our only gripe, was the bus service to Makarsca, attempted it 3 times and never made it. Forget the timetable, we waited for an hour on 3 different days and times and it only turned up once and then we couldn't get on the bus as it was too busy. Shame because the bus to split (No.60) was frequent and reliable, traffic allowing. One final comment, out flight was delayed by two hours and we consequently arrived later than expected at 11.30pm. After a brief explanation of the hotel's arrangements the receptionist told us they had prepared a light meal for us. We went into the restaurant to find a table set for 4 with cold meats, salad, examples of local dishes, cheese, melon, bread rolls etc. We did our best but, barely made an impact on the four plate loads. I wonder if we'd turned up two ours late to a hotel in the UK at 11.30pm weather we would have received the same reception?
Thanks for a lovely holiday Croatia.
