We stayed two nights in mid-September in this hotel's spartan but clean rooms. The staff gave a friendly welcome at the front desk, the bar, and the attached minimart. The hotel provides a bus to the park in the morning and from the park in the late afternoon, necessary because this hotel is over three miles from the Plitvice NP...

Even a 3 star hotel, the guest room in this hotel is still clean and spacious, and bathroom is also well-furnished with travel kit which is convenient for tourists. What might disturb tourists may be the fact that there's no lift in this hotel so you need to climb up the stairs while carrying your luggage. Besides there seems only...

Yes, at first glance it looks like a hotel dating back to the times of the Socialist Republic, but when we entered we received a warm welcome by a receptionist that spoke excepionally good English. He gave us all the information about National Park Plitvice we could wish for. Thanks to him we could visit the park for two days...

The evening of our arrival was bleak and drizzly. A steep set of steps set of a warning bell. Not a good place for senior citizens. The reception had to be requested to help with the room heating. The rooms were done up in the most bleak and unattractive manner. Not good for those looking for aesthetic beauty. The dinner...

We had a mistake with the Hotel Degenija and they didn't have our reservation and therefore no room for us. As we arrived a bit late we were concerned about where we would be able to find a room for the night. Fortunately, the Grabovac Hotel was able to accommodate our request for a triple room. The hotel was clean,...

This hotel we stayed in for two nights. Staff were very friendly and informative at reception. The hotel is outdated but comfortable. Very clean. The bar restaurant needs to be updated. The restaurant food was poor and breakfast is part of the room rate was ok. Nothing special. Coffee terrible. The location is well suited to visit the pilitvic lakes...

Staff speaks good english. Rooms and hotel are really outdated, Not really much choice in breakfast. Some buns, ham and cheese and some fruit. Also some scrambled eggs. Quality is ok, but not really high standard. Restaurant is also outdated. But food is ok. Staff in the restaurant is very nice and polite. We were the only ones eating there,...

We were a group of 18 people and I think we could have gotten a better one. Our room key got stuck in the door lock, had to wait until someone to could pull it out. The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke, which was a complete turn off for me. The hotel staff was nice and friendly though.

Looks like hotel stalag 13! Hotel overall is basic and dated but rooms are large, clean, comfortable and our shower was excellent. The hotel staff were very pleasant, as were the staff in the shop who packed us off with lunch both days. The breakfast is fairly dire and the receptionist we asked gave us wrong information about walks at...

“Rooms located directly off of the stairs might begin to smell from the kitchen and dining rom below. We switched rooms the first night after the smell of fried foods began to seep into the hallway, and our room. Once we changed to another on the opposite side of the stairs, there was no longer any problem.”
