The hotel is very nice, the staff always smiling, and friendly, animators always knew how to entertain, both Martin and Danchan had their heads full of ideas, how to fill the free time of guests. Food is fine, everyone will find something that likes. The rooms are clean, cleaned daily.

We are very pleased with the hotel, food and drinks very tasty, a good choice and high quality, peaceful surroundings, very cool evening animations with children led by George - amazing energy and a great approach to hotel guests. I also liked the free Bulgarian evening. The rooms and the restaurant clean, you can see that everyone cares about the guests. Thank you for a nice stay.

Just came back from Casablanca hotel, stayed there for a week with my family and friends. Hotel is nothing what we expected from a 4 star hotel. Food was very little choice and on the third day of our stay, my daughter age 2 got food poisoned. She was vomiting and had diarrhoea for 3 days. after that we had to go eat in the town. 90% of the staff doesn't speak or understand English. Staff doesn't have a dress code or they just chose not to wear it. So you don't know who is a guest and who is the actual staff of the Hotel. One girl at the hotels Restaurant was wearing the same black jacket all week and she was handling food.... Hotels state that they have a Spa, spa was flooded for the first 2 days of our stay. when i asked at the reception to book a massage at the spa, girl at the reception replied to me Nein in German :D. in the end she gave me a phone to ring another hotel and the woman on the phone told me that Casablanca Spa doesn't work and if we want a massage we will have to go to another hotel. we haven't seen a single person from animation team all week. there was a program on the wall, but it never happened. Rooms were cleaned every day, nothing wrong with that. Rooms were nice and quite big as well. I know we went there when season was over but we were expecting at least some parts of the Obzor to be open. it was like a ghost town. That was first time we went to Bulgaria and after this experience probably will be the last one.

We had a great time in Casablanca Apart Hotel. The people who worked there were very nice and if you tried to speak there language they gave you a big smile. The food was really good, each day different. The rooms where large and good, but you could see that Casablanca is one of the older hotels. The swimmingpool is not that big but really refeshing in the heat! The beach was great, sea with big waves but a dangerous sea flow, but there were lifeguards at each 200 meters. Casablanca has got there own beach beds and parasols. The waether was great, each day sun en in the evening it cooled down to a 22 degrees Celsius. In the evening we went to the village with a lot of shops, restaurants and food-bars. Each evening there was a fair near the beach. And in the centre of Obzor there was Always live music. I have to say that it is not really a place for people with kids in the age of 16 years and older, because there is not much to do for them. We went twice to Sunnybeach and that is a must do, because that is really fun! You can also go to the aquaparc in Sunnybeach! And if you want to see some history you can go to the old town of Nessebar next to Sunnybeach. I stayed at the Casablanca with my wife and 2 daugthers in the age of 15 and 18 and we made this holiday a great one.

Lovely country, lovely people, the town of Obzor is very clean and tidy but not really much to do, and a taxi to Sunny Beach is quite expensive. One that spoilt the holiday a little was the very rude guests (older guests) pushing in the food queues and drinks queues, especially pushing the children out of the way.

I don't know where the people who left bad reviews stayed but they must be reviewing the wrong hotel, we go on holiday to somewhere in Europe every month and this hotel is exactly what we expected for our first trip to Bulgaria. Depending on what you want from your holiday is where you should book, a little research will get you exactly what you want, Trip Advisor is for that purpose not just for leaving a review. So the Casablanca, it is perfect for people who don't want loads of nightlife, crowded noisy bars, packed out beaches and city centre shopping malls, if that is what you want then book a hotel in Sunny Beach which would be perfect for that. The Casablanca is a family hotel, 200mtrs from miles of sandy beach where you can sunbathe chill out or partake of such facilities as Jet ski hire, parasailing and much more, a few but not too many bars and cafes, horse and carriage rides back to your hotel (always ask if the price quoted is all the people in your party or per person) some of the unscrupulous drivers in Bulgaria show you a price list then at the end tell you that those prices are per person and you end up paying 2 to 4 times what you thought you would have to pay. Our room was a standard suite, located to the rear of the hotel with views over the mountains and the sea as the huge balcony was "L" shaped so catches the sun all day and gives varied views. It is an absolutely huge room, a small kitchen area with 2 burner electric hob, which as "all inclusive" is not needed but handy if you want to heat milk for babies, a kettle and tea/coffee/milk/sugar, fridge, small bathroom with sink and toilet and a larger en-suite bathroom with bath, shower sink unit, hair dryer, ample storage areas for all your toiletries. The bedroom was also huge and despite what previous reviewers have said, does, have a double bed, a huge 6ft wide bed without a centre partition and fitted with a very comfortable memory foam mattress giving superb sleep quality, dressing table, wardrobe, full length mirror and door access to the balcony. the lounge area incorporates a large 'L' shaped sofa bed, small dining table with four chairs and access to a the huge balcony which also features a table and four chairs. Mealtimes are split into two shifts, floors 1 to 4 on the first sitting and floors 5 to 7 on the second sitting though people seemed to ignore the shift system and eat when ready without the staff complaining, despite the huge number of guests, there were no queues at mealtimes at any point during our 10 day stay and the hotplates are never empty with the staff topping them up regularly, the staff in the restaurant are very friendly, efficient, multi-lingual and it was good to see how they interacted with each other, they all seem to be happy working at the hotel and with each other which adds to the atmosphere of mealtimes. The food is of good quality and always a variety of dishes to suit all needs, a good selection of vegetables to accompany a choice of 4 main courses, large salad selection and excellent sweet menu. All in all as good as any 'all inclusive' restaurants we have visited, of course with all inclusive the options are never going to be as good as restaurants where you pay for individual courses but that is reflected heavily in how much you are paying for your stay, if you want Cordon Bleu, book a hotel that is not offering all inclusive packages but if you want decent food with a decent choice at a very budget price then this is what you get and very ice it is too. The animation team at the hotel are very good both with the adult shows and the child entertainment. For an extra price there are facilities such as the Sauna, Massage, spa and gym. The hotel grounds are nicely laid out and incorporate a pool with a separate pool for young children, a more than adequate number of sunbeds surround the pool and there is an outside bar nearby. Guests at the hotel are predominantly German, then Russian, Bulgarian, Romainian, very few British guests when we stayed but we deliberately booked during school term time, there were even some Spanish guests when we stayed. The housekeeping staff are friendly and very efficient, it was a treat to see which animal they had fashioned the towels in each day when they cleaned the room. Ample free parking, excellent Wifi in our room which was located furthest away from reception as you could be. The TV is, for British very limited, we eventually found one channel that was in English albeit with Bulgarian subtitles across the screen and reception is not very good with constant screen freeze on most channels, there are numerous German and Russian channels and of course lot's of Bulgarian channels. The village of Obzor is a 5 minute walk from the hotel or 10 minutes to the heart of the village square where you can find all the shops you need, Hairdressers, tattoo shops, nail/manicure salons, chemists, souvenir shops, tobacconists and more. We would happily stay at this hotel again and much of the reason for that is the friendliness of the staff, as possibly the only Brits staying we did not feel we were treated any different to anyone else.

Visited this hotel for the first time in the beggining of the June. We had a family room and there were two bathrooms - one was bigger, with toilet and shower and the other one with a toilet. There was one bedroom with two single beds, but it is possible to push them aside. One of us had to sleep on the coach, but didn't complain. Although a bit noisy (but not disturbing) air conditioner didn't exactly cool the room, the room wasn't very hot in the afternoon, because the sun didn't shine straight into the room. In our room we also had an oppurtunity to make tea or coffee with kettle and to cook something on the cooker. And also we had a connected balcony. The food was very tasty (meat, salads, desserts, fresh fruits), but the variety should be bigger. Free Wi-Fi spead very well, but 2-3 days in the middle of our trip we weren't able to use Wi-Fi with iPhone. But this problem was solved. Animation team was great. They weren't pushy, they were very friendly and nice. Overview of some activities - in the morning stretching and darts, in the afternoon water gymnastics, petanque, waterball and in the evening mini-disco for kids and later disco for adults. The beach is about 120 metres from the hotel and the hotel has its own beach area. We prefered relaxing around the pool as there were enough deck chairs and sunshades. From the pool bar it is possible to get cold and hot drinks, pizza and biscuits. Hotel is located in the small town. There is a river next to the hotel and the main road (Burgas-Varna) is also close to the hotel. Near the hotel are some little shops, post office, market and the city centre. If you require noisy nightlife, then this hotel isn't for you. For us it was a good thing, because there were no noise in the night.

The location is perfect : not too close to the sea-shore, not too far away from down-town, having swimming-pools, 3 bars where you could have any drink you want ( soft or strong ) , quiet, perfectly designed for elder people or for those with children small or grown-up. The tennis court is just 20 meters away ( artificial grass ), very suitable for the "old ankles" but not only. The hotel has its own beach, free chaise-longs and umbrellas. The rooms are large enough, with balconies, very clean . Food - good and the Chief is doing his best to satisfay everybody. For sure, will be our destinaton ( for our friends too ) for the next year. And more, which is the most important for some of us, after 11 hours pm, all bars and closed leaving us the possibility to sleep by night. Dan Olteanu

The worst traveling experience ever: the hotel is calling himself as a 4* hotel but it's maximum 2*. Asked to change the room because of a terrible vomiting smell in the room. The smell is so bad you can even be at that room. I understood that my family is bot the first who wanted to change the room. No proper reaction from the personnel. The equipment in the hotel is in a very bad condition. Old beds, old furniture. The stuff is not friendly at all. The drinks are very cheep as well as the taste of them. The food is ok, but only if you can deal with dirty restaurant with flees in it. The hotel is cheating calling himself "a 4* star experience".
