First let me say your hotel is lovely right on the beach can't fault the cleanliness staff were excellent and the food was excellent the things I didn't like was we stayed in the last 11 nights in September the water park was closed and also closed the Italian restaurant and next door they served snacks at dinner time which was good for us as we had small children the last couple of days they were packing things up and closing shops would not come back in September

Fabulous! The hotel, the view, the food, the entertainment, the aqua park! All fantastic, team very good, absolutely nothing wrong. Nice shows, shops inside the hotel (jewelry, clothes, toys, grocery), games, panini restaurant, tapas restaurant, international restaurant, italian and bulgarian restaurant. All in one great resort!

I will start with the good points the hotel room was lovely very spacious with a huge balcony and a lovely view. The staff are moody and rude apart from literally a couple of them especially the woman in the shop in the hotel, the food isn’t very nice at all apart from one night because they were celebrating something, It’s mainly German guests who are also quite rude there is nothing to do at this hotel it advertises entertainment which there’s the odd quiz at night time we chose this for the water park which was closed the shops in the hotel are a load of rubbish and close earlier and earlier by the day also they advertise panini bar which is also closed if you like a boring holiday surrounded by a bunch of rude people and a horrible choice of food to chose from this holidays for you if not stay away definitely not a 4 star

Stayed here for a week by accident ,our hotel in sunny bay closed early so chose here due to the exceptional reviews . All the good reviews are spot on ,staff smile and are most helpful, hotel is spotless rooms cleaned every day. So much choice of food in the restaurant you won't go hungry . Great English breakfast and huge choice of continental. No loud music to annoy you . Great bars and bar staff they work so hard, plenty of snacks available. Great entertainment during the day and evening in the bar .. Partner went for a Bulgarian massage and she thought it was great and well worth the money . Obzor Town is OK and they run a cheap shuttle to take you but you can walk along the beach to get there in 20mins. This is really a beach holiday, eat drink and relax which was perfect for us . Only 2 gripes I have 1 could be fixed by the hotel and the other is out of there hands . 1 please put a kettle in the room so coffee or tea could be had first thing in the morning. 2 and I know this is out of your hands but so many wasps on the beach does ruin the experience a little . Would I stay here again........oh yes most definitely looking forward to coming back next year . One tip if you smoke order your tobacco from the local shops its half the price of duty free. Thanks again we had a great time .

Just got back from a most enjoyable holiday that was extremely chilled. The food options were exceptional for all inclusive and included an international buffet, gala night and a Bulgarian and Italian restaurant. We always found something we enjoyed very much. The hotel is exceptionally clean with staff constantly clearing your empty glasses. Drinks were fine with decent beer and cocktails made up in front of you. Room was huge and modern. Our cleaner, sorry can't remember your name but our room was 2610 was marvellous. I dropped my credit card and she came up the corridor to return of to me. Always smiling and cleaned room beautifully. She even came to say goodbye to us. The animation were great, lots of fun and worked all day. The shooting was a lot of fun although I always scored (0) ,😁 Well done you guys you made our holiday There is a huge swimming pool, although very cold, was great for exercise. There is also an indoor pool which was heated. I love gyms and the gym was okay but some of the equipment didn't work well and it needed better air conditioning. The evening entertainment was okay and the animation team worked hard but bingo doesn't really cut it nor does a music quiz. There should have been more live entertainment, just one singer in two weeks could be improved upon. The hotel has direct access to the beach and there are loads of sun beds, no need to get up at the crack of dawn to put towels down. The beach is cleaned by the staff so you don't find cigarette butts. This sea was lovely and surprisingly warm. The views from the terrace bar are lovely with easy chairs which were great. Can I appeal to the management for a non smoking area on that terrace. We constantly had to move seats as lots of people smoked. I have nothing against smokers but I do hate either cigarette smoke or e cigarette vapour steam. It is not fair on non-smokers. There is a water park next to the hotel but remember it is only open certain times of the year. We had a land view from a high floor which was fine but it is definitely worth paying a little extra for a sea view. There is a safe available for about £10 per week. Pool towels you pay £10 for each towel which is refunded at the end of the holiday and you can replace them on a daily basis. Rooms don't have a kettle not a problem for us but you may want to take a travel kettle. There is a water machines on each floor which I think you can get hot as well as cold water from. There is a stocked mini bar in the room but was quite expensive given that drinks are free in the bars. Staff all seemed to get on well and were a lot of fun when you talked with them. Definitely will go again at the same time of year. The quietness suited us. But please introduce non smoking areas on the terrace bar.

Stayed at Hotel Sol Luna Bay in the last week of September 2022. The deal we got through TUI was good value and we were looking for a chilled week away in the sun. The hotel is absolutely spotless and staff are always on hand which is lovely. What we didn’t expect was for the facilities to be shutting down around us as we tried to enjoy our holiday. The Italian restaurant has been a standout for us but again, was closed after our second night here. The self serve drinks section at the pool bar was removed halfway through our trip and sunbeds from the beach were being taken away as we sat and enjoyed the beach. The Jazz Bar has been closed the whole time we have been here. The shops on site have been emptying their selves as we walk pst every day. The snacks on offer between lunch and dinner leave a lot to be desired too. We got the shuttle bus into Obzor which is a lovely service on offer however, the town was like a ghost town with only one or two places open. Mayne we’ve traveled at the wrong time but despite coming to the end of the season, it’s not nice to see things being physically shut around you and has put a dampener on our stay. The food has mainly been lovely and of that which you would typically find at an all inclusive. With things closing down, there isn’t too much to do without taking a coach to the neighbouring towns/cities. We’ve had a nice stay but would be coming back and would recommend travelling before September to make the most of the facilities which are advertised because alot of them have been closed for us.

Dear guest "L396DKjadel", We are glad you were our guests and thank you very much for taking the time to write this review. We are sorry that you were slightly disappointed that some of our restaurants and bars were closed at the end of September. However, I want to remind you that all the outlets that we have promised to work for the guests in our hotel descriptions were open, i.e. we have not deprived you of any service or outlet that was previously described. Many of our guests prefer the second half of September for their holiday, because then it is very calm and cozy and the weather is still suitable sunbathing. We hope to welcome you again very soon as our special regular guests. Best regards

Me and the wife stayed at this gem for 10 nights in September and not having been to Obzor before were a little apprehensive...what a fantastic hotel and place this is. The worst thing about all of this holiday was the transfer time from the airport, it should have been 60 mins but TUI decided to merge two coaches into one so it took us 2 hours instead, this being said, it had nothing to do with the hotel !! The reception is spotless and the staff are very friendly and helpful, we were quickly dealt with and the young bellboy took us to our room and showed us how to operate the safe (40 lev for 10 days). The pool towel cards are 20 lev each (Deposit) and the towels can be changed once a day. The room was spotless and well maintained and was sea facing, as are most of the rooms at this hotel. There is no coffee making facilities but we took our own travel kettle, cups and coffee. The bed was really comfy and we slept well every night, the bathroom was immaculate with a bath and shower. The maids cleaned the room every day and replaced towels if needed. There is a fridge minibar which is stocked with water, beer, pop & crisps and is restocked and checked everyday, what you use is charged to your room and paid for on checkout, there is a pricelist in the room. The pool area is kept clean and there are loads of sun lounges always available, same on the beach. The water was cold but there is even an indoor pool to use. There is daytime activities everyday with the entertainment team and some good entertainment on an evening. The food...well what can I say...every day, Breakfast, Lunch and Evening the food was amazing, so much choice and so delicious, some of the best food we have had at an hotel...5 star food and service. There is an Italian and Bulgarian restaurant you can book if you fancy too. The bar is very well manned and you are not waiting in massive queues all the time, lager is spot on and they have a good range of cocktails. They put on a shuttle bus every day to Obzor which is 2 lev each way but is a steady 25 min walk if you want. Obzor was lovely to go to, there are loads of clothes shops (really cheap) and a great bar/restaurant called House where you can get amazing steaks, kebebs etc. All in all a brilliant hotel which is sat directly on the beach, we are booking again to go next year...cant wait.

We booked a last minute holiday for some September sun to Sol Luna Bay and had an excellent time. The stand out for me was the fact that the hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff work hard all day to keep the entire place really smart. This includes the beach, with a team picking up any litter. The bars have a great selection of drinks and the entertainment was perfect for us - there is enough going on and no pressure to join in if you don't fancy it. The food was good with a much wider selection than just deep fried offer. We wet to both the Italian and Bulgarian restaurants and enjoyed them both. there is a shuttle bus from the hotel to Obzor - you can also walk to the town up the beach - it takes about 35 mins. The beach was lovely sand and the sea is fairly shallow for a long distance, so fin and safe to swim in. if we were considering another holiday to Bulgaria, we would absolutely return to Sol Luna Bay. Excellent value for money.

We've just returned from a week's holiday, and we couldn't have asked for more. Spotlessly clean, very efficient staff and a good selection of food and drink (great range of cocktails!) Plus we loved the beach!

What a fab time we had the hotel, the food, glorious weather and amazing white sandy beach!!! We stayed for a week from 12/09/22 and thoroughly enjoyed it!! We met lots of lovely people there and our trip was made all the better with the excellent animation team!! We joined them everyday for yoga on the beach followed by boccia, shuffleboard, darts, rifle shooting and volleyball!! Mitko, Vesko and Rado were so full of energy and so very personable making our stay a great one!!! The evening events were just as good Bulgarian dancing, music quiz, singing and karaoke was all well set up!! A short 2 Mile walk down to beach took us into a pretty place Obzor with beautiful parks. You can also take the free hotel shuttle bus too to Obzor. The water park in the hotel was still open but closes mid September a great free addition for families with children who loves water slides! The buffet restaurant was excellent as too was the Italian or Bulgarian restaurant. On site spa has an opportunity for u to have a massage. It is definitely a hotel worth staying in very clean lots of space and lots of sun beds on the beach! Staff in reception and in all bars were fantastic!!
