We booked this last minute through Crystal and we were so pleased with our choice. On arrival we were greeted with a glass of fizz and then shown to our room which was a large suite. it really was a really nice room and much larger than you would expect on a ski holiday. The breakfast buffet had a really... More

Having Coeliac disease can be awkward when eating abroad – not at the Hotel Bergjuwel. I could choose from the same menu as others and the chef would prepare a version (if possible) that was gluten free. I scoffed everything! It was great to be able to order and eat with no fuss. I even got my own bread basket.... More

We have just returned from a week staying at Hotel Bergjuwel (booked with crystal ski holidays). The hotel was fantastic, glass of champagne on arrival, 6 course meal every night (beautifully presented and delicious). The breakfast had huge variety and from 3-5pm hot drinks and lots of lovely cake/ soup/ sandwiches were available. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The... More

We stayed at the Bergjuwel (mountain jewel, translated roughly) during the Christmas week and we loved every minute of it. The hotel is situated in Neustift, near the Stubaier Glacier at an easy distance from the centre of Innsbruck, if you want to take your car to the city. But the mountain train ride from Fulpmes (a 6 km drive... More

The only two good things about this accommodation is size and quality of the room and the wellness everything else is questionable. Rooms are big enough even for more than 2-3 people, separated toilett is also a pro. Wellness is generous, indoor swimming pool and two saunas. But thats all what you can appreciate here. Breakfast is just ok, caffe... More

Rooms and hotel is not bad, but the approach of staff is very disappointing. The first night, we encountered super approach of one lady, she was helpful, caring and helping us in whatever we needed. Even though you can't find a restaurant for supper in this hotel she have ordered us a pizza from some local restaurant! Appreciated, really. The... More

Stayed here for five days, and had a really wonderful time. Very large room, with sofa and chairs, and large desk. The room decor was a little dated, but overall it was very nice. Downstairs the hotel decor is lovely, and has a most attractive sitting area and bar area. Very comfortable and inviting. The restaurant is really outstanding, and... More

We felt that this hotel provided accommodation and adequate breakfast but the service otherwise was not as advertised. After booking we were told that our dinner would be at the Bergkonig hotel which was about 5 minutes walk away. In itself this was not a problem for us, but the result was that the Bergjuwel hotel was deserted in the... More

Just got back from a brilliant fortnight at the Bergjuwel. I've now started on the diet. It is all you would expect of a really good traditional Austrian hotel, from the friendliness of the greeting on arrival, the cheerful staff, spacious room ( ours was Room 101 ), cleanliness, facilities and overall feeling of warmth. Our room was on the... More

A small, quiet, family run hotel on the edge of town but just a short walk to the town centre or the gondola station. The frequent (in summer - don't know about the rest of the year) valley buses to Innsbruck & the Stubai Glacier stopped only a few yards away. Large clean rooms made for a comfortable stay. Breakfasts... More
