This hotel was a bit difficult to find. coming through town there were signs but for those walking and we had a car. After a couple stops to ask for directions, we made it. The receptionist at the front desk was a delight. Very friendly, perfect English and helped us with all our needs. The room was large and had... More

I rarely give one star reviews and was surprised to see the number of positive reviews for this establishment. Perhaps it's highly dependent on which room you get but it is definitely a crap shoot as 1/3 of the private rooms are absolutely awful and here's why: 1) if you are on the bottom floor you are directly in line... We stayed in a luxury private room & were very pleased with how spacious it was! The staff was great, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a plus too. It was close enough to easily walk into town. I would definitely stay here again

The location was great- it was in walking distance of everything and what wasn't they had free shuttles for. Staff was great and it was really easy to book excursions through them with only a few hours advance. They are very strict about their night policies and don't tolerate much.

This family goes out of their way to help. We had a booking the first night here and the next night at Villa Verde through Hostel World. This place is more like a hotel not a hostel as the service is top notch and they do a great breakfast. We wanted to stay the second night here but it wasn't... More

Our private room with ensuite was great value for money with a hot breakfast included. The best part about staying here was the very helpful reception. The staff booked all activities and excursions for us and made it very straightforward. We stayed during an extremely windy time and so the noise at night was very loud. However I'm not sure... My girlfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights. It's a cool hostel with plenty of travellers from all over the world. They offer free breakfast in the morning. The hostel isn't a 5 star hostel as everyone shares bathrooms and two kitchens. The common areas are right outside most of the rooms. Everyone thankfully went to bed around a... More

This hostel was comfortable in general, beds were well-equipped with warm blankets for the cold and windy Monteverde nights. I stayed in a private 2-person room that also provided a couple of towels. Breakfast generally consisted of toast, fruit and eggs, or pancakes and just fruit. Wi-fi seemed to mostly work upstairs only. Great view of the Santa Elena/Monteverde area... More

This hostel was really clean. Bedrooms were as nice as in hotel. The common area were clean and ful of colors and nice decorations. The kitchen was well equiped and the view on the town and mountains is amazing. Great staff, really helpful!!

We stayed here for one night but certainly would have liked to stay longer. Rooms are nice, breakfast is included and nearby are economical sodas. On a clear day you also have a nice view from the common area. If you're traveling with suitcases, take a taxi from the bus station as the street is a rough dirt road -... More
