We stayed here only one night to visit Monteverde Cloud forest, wish we had spent at least a night more! The campanas are very cosy and beautiful, you even have a hammock at your balcony to chill! The surrounding area is very beautiful. The host was really kind and helped us book last-minute a zip-line tour! She is very honest...

Great place to relax and unwind. Each cabin is set in its own immaculately kept garden area. The whole place is well maintained and looked after and teaming with birds and butterflies. Our host was a lovely lady who helped with recommendations for tours and places to eat.It is walkable into St Elena up a steep hill but our host happily ordered a...

We stayed a Valle Campanas for three nights and really could have stayed longer. The propery is a haven and very tranquil, the cabins are spaced far apart so you feel private and secluded, but Reina and her family are always on hand to help if you need them. We loved the spacious 2-story cabin and we were pleased to...

Valle Campanas exceeded our expectations in so many ways. We stayed in a standard cabin, which was perfect for our family of three. The cabin had wifi, a balcony with a lovely hammock and a stovetop, full-sized fridge and microwave for self-catering (although we also found the variety and quality of the restaurants in town really good). The owner, Reina,...

We visited Costa Rica for the first time in the second half of March 2017. Three of us (all adults) had fantastic time and definitely plan to return. While in Monteverde we stayed at Cabanas Valle Campanas and all we have to offer is highest praise for the place and its owners. The place is truly tranquil with great views....

My family of 2 parents and two teenage boys (16 & 17) enjoyed every minute of our stay with Reina and her lovely family! We stayed in the El Atardecer Cabin for 3 full days and 4 nights. The cabin was perfect for our family with a queen bed in one private room and then two double beds (one a...

My Family and I had a great stay with Reina and her family at Valle Campanas. The cabin was perfect for my family having all the amenities that we would expect. The location is great for exploring the Monteverde area. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back.

Staying at Valle Campanas was one of our highlights while in Monteverde. This is a family-run operation, so your "staff" is personally invested in your experience and will do anything to ensure you have the best time (they even stayed up to show us their nocturnal agouti pets!). The cabins are spaced out over the property and have all the...

We didn't want to leave this lovely finca, hosted by the warm and charming Raina and her husband Leo! A "party of six," we were two parents, three children ages 6, 4, and 1, and I, a grandmother thrilled to be along. We arrived through the arch of a brilliant rainbow, which repeated for us several more times. At the...

My husband and I spent 2 weeks here and were in Monteverde to visit our daughter. Great hospitality, clean, quiet and so much more. The spot for seeing sunsets is great as are the gardens and trails. We will be back and are planning a family stay next year for a wedding in Costa Rica!!
