I brought my niece and we spent 4 wonderful days in this fabulous place. I read some of the other reviews and really dont get the negative remarks. The hotel and restaurant were more than aqequate for this off the beaten path paradise. What really stood out for me was the great staff and their way of being, from the...

I planned a surprise one night stay at Tango Mar for my wifeand I after a planned 4 day stay in nearby Montezuma. We were both surprised, but in different ways. She thought the place very nice, but I thought that for the money spent, the place should have been better finished. The Tiki Suite we stayed in was terribly...

A fabulous place. The beach is incredibly beautiful, right at the foot of the hotel. There are tennis courts, horses, a golf course. The staff is great and the food is gorgeous.

A friend and I visited tango mar for dinner one night while in tambor. The staff was very helpful and fun. There was a nice and open atmosphere with the sound of the waves crashing in the background while you ate or sat at the bar. We saw a private bonfire on the beach and a newlywed couple having a...

This was my FIFTH escape to this tropical paradise (my hubby's 2nd). We were there a month ago and yes, it was the green season (that's what the Costa Rican Tourist Board calls it; translation: rainy season. But we knew that, and in my opinion, a rainy day at Tango Mar is better than a sunny day at work any...

It doesn't get much better than Tango Mar. We just can't stay enough - other than perfection. We were supposed to stay in one of the smaller Villas, but due to a problem we were upgraded to the Royal Villa - or should we say Mansion. This place is just amazing!!! Not enough words to describe it - truly awesome....

We went in the rainy season and boy did it rain! Even with that we loved it. My wife and I were celebrating our 20 year anniversary and it was perfect. We were given an upgrade to the tiki suite and it was nice to be closer to the restaurant. The road in was a bit rough and it is...

We returned to this amazing resort for our second time in Feb. 2011 for a 12 day adventure and it was absolutely fantastic again. Pure sunshine and 34 C everyday with a refreshing tropical breeze in the Oceanview rooms, right on the spectacular pure sand beach. With only 37 rooms on a huge 150 acre property, there are no crowds...
