We were pleasantly surprised as the photos do not do this place justice. This place is gorgeously landscaped and the rooms were some of the nicest we stayed in while in Costa Rica. The entire place smelled of jasmine and ylang ylang. We got to watch a family of monkeys living in the surrounding trees. The hosts were interesting to...

We spent two nights with Brigitte and Leon and visited several nearby beaches. They were very helpful and had our first introduction to the nature of Costa Rica. We should have spent more time there but were off to Monteverde and then the Osa Peninsula. It is an operating cattle breeding farm with an open to the forest setting for...

We thought we would stay on an actual working farm, that's what we understood from the website. But it's not. It's a small and nice lodge, owners do their best. Breakfast was good, but not the best. We stayed in the familycabin, nicely decorated and comfortable. A pity it doesn´t have a view over the mountains, cut a few small...

Our guesthouse is in the middle of our 60 ha farm, with cattles and horses. We offer hikes and horsetours and milking our happy cows. We did reforestation with local trees and aromatic trees to attract a big varaity of birds and monkeys. All this animals are eating the flowers and seeds of those trees. We dont want to cut...

A wonderful place to go with your family. The fantastic owners make you feel at home and dedicate all their time to help you plan your excusions. The howler monkeys and macaws give you a early morning concert. Great breakfast with homemade bread. Fidelito is, besides a quiet oasis, also a fantistic starting point to discover southern Nicoya, with some...

This house was gorgeous, everything we could ask for. We loved the scenery, the pool, the kitchen, AND Freddie & the horses. We grabbed groceries in Tamarindo and cooked some meals. We did go into Playa Junquilla for beautiful meal on the beach, had supper at a Tico restaurant. The highlight was Freddy taking us on an excursion and going...

My family and I recently stayed at the Fidelito Ranch as we really wanted a to stay somewhere different to the usual beach hotels. We all absolutely loved it the place. Brigitte and Leon have built this working farm from scratch which is a great achievement. They seem to have a great life there. The hotel feels like you are...

We stayed at Fidelito for 4 nights and loved our stay! Brigette is very kind and generous, and was so helpful to our family in planning activities and tours in the area. She also made delicious homemade bread and delicious fresh breakfast! It's in a beautiful area of CR close to Curu National Park, close to the ocean and to...

I think I need to preface this review by saying that we are not your typical travellers. We came to Costa Rica not as tourists, but as foreign investors who had recently purchased land nearby and this trip was to go down and see it. (Our previous visit to C.R. was to the Guanacaste region and we stayed at the...
