What a wonderful part of paradise in Sri Lanka. Unfortunately it was only a one night stay but it was great. Room was fabulous on ground floor and we had our own private swimming pool overlooking the beach. The manager and his staff were exceptional and the food was delicious. We will definitely be returning to this hotel when we visit the magnificent Sri Lanka again

The staff was amazing and were very friendly. Make sure you book breakfast and dinner or both when booking this hotel because the food was amazing as well, props to the chef for the wonderful 5 course meals. The rooms are really nice with a beautiful view of the beach and the restaurant’s aesthetics is unmatched at night. If your going to unawatuna or the galle area cocobay is a must book hotel.

As a srilankan, i have visited so many beach hotels in srilanka and this place was totally amazing with the beautiful sea view and elegant room with thier luxurious arrangement. Also they have awesome food range and thier staff is very friendly and supportive. Absolutely, one of the best place to enjoy vacation in srilanka. Thank you to @Dinesha and the staff for their fantastic hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Srilanka.

It was absolutely amazing experience with such great hospitality. It was last minute reservation but Mr Upul and others are really ssupported us to plan our stay there. Food is awesome , staffs are really friendly and supportive. We booked for one day but extended for another extra day. They upgrade us for superior room with private pool for next day. Galle fort, Unawatuna beach, Koggala are really close places to visit. Very calm and quite beach front hotel for family stay.

We ended our holiday and Coco Bay. It really was a great ending. 7 nights with two kids (9/7) The hotel is small so they could run up to the room easily, the pool is 4ft so perfect and the beach is shallow for quite a distance with a lifeguard and also surf lessons. Breakfast was really good, Sri Lankan and other options and a kids breakfast. Food in restaurant was really good, and perfect area off beach to sit and enjoy the sunset with a drink. 10 mins to Galle in a Tuk Tuk with plenty to see and do in a beautiful historic fort town. Staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful and looked after us amazingly.

Lovely boutique hotel, great rooms, lovely cool pool, clear water and clean beach. Lovely friendly staff and great value delicious food (the sea food market night was a highlight). We were sad to leave! Only request would be new beach towels! Worth the trek uphill and down to visit Jungle Beach.

Me and my husband travelled in India and Sri Lanka during March & April,2023. We stayed in many hotels and Cocobay hotel is the best among them. Everything is perfect. Friendly staff, tasty food (they were very careful when we said we cannot eat spicy food) , hotel was very clean. We got our own get away in a romantic environment. The beach was really clean and we saw the staff cleaned the beach every morning. We felt it is a hidden paradise. The staff treated us with so much respect and smiles. Our hearts were warmed by their hospitality . We were impressed how they respected us as we had not got it in other places in India & Sri Lanka as an inter-racial couple. We had our privacy also. The hotel is very near to the Galle-fort and other attractions. We were overwelmed by the beauty of the hotel and its environment , so we decided to not to run for sight-seeing but rather stayed and enjoyed at the hotel. We have so much to tell about this place and recommend for other fellow travellers. We already decided to visit there again with our whole family. Great hotel for both couples and families with kids. Very friendly and attentive staff, spotless and comfortable rooms and calm, relaxing environment made our holidays wonderful. In case you have a small child, there are good food options for a baby, access to the sea is convenient for little kids and there are enough activities in and around Unawattuna to entertain yourself with. We had a lovely time!

Wonderful little hotel! The location is amazing, as it sits in its own little area. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, in fact maybe the best we have ever experienced, and able to organise anything we needed, from trips to see Whales to anything we needed for the room. The manager Mr DeSilva and the reception guys were all exceptionally professional. The room was HUGE and very comfortable. The food was very tasty and I think very reasonable in price, and the menu was pretty large, so even with us being vegetarian lots to choose from. All in all 10/10.

The hotel is very good and they are looking for lots of details to make your stay an experience. The rooms were well equipped and all facing the sea with balcony. It has its own sandy beach and the water ist shallow ideal for kids, no currents in the sea there. All the meals were delicious and perfectly prepared you can choose eating outside on the teracce just five meters from the ocean or inside. The staff were very friendly and helpful with everything. Also they are offering great massages in your room. The reception was everytime helpful, they organized a whale watching tour for us and told us also how to get to the turtle beach (what was the greater experience). To Galle and the fort you have to go by Tuk-Tuk (short ride). We would definitly go there again and recommending this hotel.…
