We had a lovely stay here with excellent Italian food. Best of all was the friendliness of the staff and people there. The staff was very willing to spend time talking with us and sharing their knowledge of the park. I learned so much about elephants! It really made the experience in the park extra special. The accommodations were basic but very comfortable.

We stayed here 3 nts.. super convenient for accessing the park. The good was great, 3 courses at dinner. Breakfast great.. packed lunches are available and very basic. We stayed in a cabin and then stayed in a tent the next 2 nts. The benefit to the cabin is that there's a fan in the room..other than that it's kinda crampy.. I much preferred the tent BUT no fan... so when its really hot you need to consider your level of heat tolerance , but we managed just fine.. the grounds are beautiful, the staff very helpful.

The camp is just outside Murchison Falls National Park and run by two friendly and hospitable Italian-Ugandan brothers. It shows in the food – literally the best pasta we had anywhere in Uganda, and the wine (they have private label wines from South Africa). You can hear elephants (Bwana Tembo means Sir Elephant in Swahili) at night, and they have staff patrol the campsite at night. We saw a large male driving between the camp and Murchison Falls National Park. They have large, roomy, tents on platforms as well as cabins. This is as comfortable as it gets in a camp out in the bush! When we left, they packed us lunch (more of the great pasta). Unfortunately, one of the lunches of our group was swiped by a baboon as we waited for the ferry to cross the Nile, and he ate it with great relish. We actually traveled in April 2017, but TripAdvisor doesn't give an option to select that date when submitting the review.

Our group stayed one night at this lovely accommodation during a 2 week road trip in Uganda. The cabins were good size and had small attached patios. Our cabin had a view of the Nile River. I actually skipped a sunset game drive to sit on the patio with a beer and read it was so peaceful. There are also safari tents. Both styles have en-suites. The staff were very welcoming, professional and helpful. Their is a small restaurant and bar. The food was delicious. It is situated very close to the Murchison Falls NP entrance- ideal for game drives! It is eco friendly, run on solar power, which I appreciate! The land is open range and elephants roam freely! We had our own guide/driver, however the owners of this lodge will provide tours and safari services. Wish we had time for 2 nights here. I highly recommend this lodge.

We loved it here - the scenery was incredible, the lodges were “adorable” and nice to stay in. There’s also a common lounge where you can play games and get to know everyone. Davide and his staff were attentive and always there to help if dark on your walk back to your cabin. Great experience!
