My family and I spent two days and one night at Chobe Safari Resort last week. The group consisted of six adults and one 22month old child. We traveled from Kampala that morning and were there in time for lunch. We were met with a warm reception and absolutely stunning views. We were fortunate enough to see a buffalo, loads...

I have been to many places around the world and this was a hotel where the service didn't justify the price. Upon arrival it was very quite as it's off peak season. At first the prices where very unclear, they seemed to be quoting us mixed prices, and also the rates where hidden. I saw the rates where it said...

Convenient location, you take the river excursion just going a few stairs down from the main restaurant/bar. The rooms are large, the furniture somewhat old and a little worn. The service is excellent. The restaurant serves a fairly complete breakfast, and the bar has small plates and sandwiches that are acceptable. Overall a good place from where to take excursions...

This is a small heaven. You wake up to a clear view of the sun rising with beautiful sounds of the water splashing over the rocks beneath. Breakfast was served in the comfy restaurant outside with a view of an awesome nature. Its was a lifetime experience watching the hippos eating away at the grass just below the restaurant in...

We stopped by Chobe for lunch after spending 2nights at Paraa. The lodges belong to the same owner. But what Paraa has, is location with close proximity to the game tracks. Chobe however has much better facilities. This is a genuine 5star experience. The lunch is at a different level. The food was excellent, and the view from the terrace....

After a long drive through Uganda and Murchison National Park we got to Chobe. It could not start better as we saw at the entrance around 50 giraffes at sunset. After the check in we went to the pool, where we witnessed just 30 metres away from us a buffalo a hippo (a few warthogs) and an elephant just standing...

I was appalled by the state of the camp site, the rude customer service and the safari factory that churns out tours with guides who couldn't care less. The day I was there our guide knew there was a pack of fifteen lions in the park but didn't even try to find them out of sheer laziness. Ruined my whole...
