Airco is luxury in Uganda . Most of the time electricity falls out in the evening So then it Will become warmer. Nice swimmingpool and garden. Bathroom was small. The bed had musquito nets but there were holes in it. Breakfest was ok.
We were in Gulu with a couple of friends and were looking for places to stay. We found that the rooms were not in the best state. The cheapest room for instance felt like being in a prison cell. We opted out and went else where. If ever it was nice, then it has lost its past…
Acholi Inn is undergoing some badly needed renovation so this may not be the right time to visit this historical hotel. Hopefully it will emerge as a jewel once again. Our stay could have been better. Fingers crossed for the ongoing works.
