This place! It’s so simple but so perfect. It’s right on the beach with its private beach front, white sand beach, turtle nests, coconut trees and ridiculously beautiful sunrises. The rooms are breezy because of the open windows and so it’s like sleeping on the beach to the sound of the waves without the mosquitoes because of the great mozzy net over the bed. Best night sleeps for a loooong time. The pool is smallish but still perfect and the common lounge area has comfy couches and is great for just lounging around. Super friendly service, totally safe and comfortable. Whatever you do, DO NOT miss the snorkeling, it’s magnificent. Truly one of a kind place and can’t wait to return.

We spent four nights at the end of our long, dusty, bumpy safari. This place was a dream! The staff and service was unparalleled. We loved the open air bandas that let us hear the ocean at night and take in the cool ocean breeze. It was just wonderful and exceeded all expectations.

We had a lovely 4 nights here, especially as we had the place to ourselves for the first 3. The views are great, it is extremely safe and peaceful and I highly recommend the snorkling trip out to the marine park. Staff led by the friendly and capable John are excellent. My only complaint is that we were self- driving and the web’s instructions on how to reach the camp were completely wrong after the ferry, compounded by having a bad 5 hour experience on terrrible murram road to Mkata leaving. Otherwise great

Emayani Beach Lodge was perfect for a New Year gathering of friends who sought company together, rest, good food and ocean and pool swims. The staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. It is simple, quality, and environmentally sensitive living. The sleeping quarters are open airy huts with all that is needed for comfort and security. We had an amazing trip to snorkel on the coral reef and those who had a massage thought it of the highest quality and value for money. Lovely evenings with quality simple food in relaxed atmosphere. This was a little gem recommended by friends who know Tanzania for years.

Beautiful lodge on a totally unspoiled beach. The bungalows are lovely and there is nature wherever you look. We enjoyed the snorkeling trip, sightseeing in Pangani and a Pangani river cruise. Absolute peace and quiet -- and amazing food.
