We were here in February and were very happy with this small hotel. There are only about 15 rooms, so this hotel is definitely for boutique hotel lovers. The food at the hotel was delicious. I can recommend to take the half board so that diner is included as well. Also, the crepes at breakfast with the caramel banana sauce were my favorite. Our room was not huge but nicely decorated and clean with a nice balcony overlooking the pool. Rooms were cleaned twice per day, which was great as I noticed we tended to track in a lot of sand from the beach. The hotel is situated directly on the beach and there are enough beach chairs for everyone and the bar will bring drinks to you at the beach. Unfortunately when we visited there was quite a lot of sea plants growing in the water in front of the hotel and was a bit off-putting for a person who likes to be able to see the bottom of the ocean. The hotel management was always around, checking to make sure everything was ok.
Last but not least I can highly recommend getting a massage or three while there. I had Peggy as my masseuse and she gave me one of the 3 best massages I have had in my life. Thanks to all of the staff and management. We hope to see you again soon.

We booked this hotel as part of a travel package booked over Secret escapes. After 3 days in Dubai we were looking forward in staying at Seaview Boutique Hotel for 7 nights in order to relax.
When we arrived we were positively surprised about the small and cosy hotel. It contains only 24 rooms, which fits us perfectly since we don’t like big hotels.
A further great surprise was, that we got upgraded from our standard room to a deluxe room including a balcony, spacious bathroom including bath tub, separate shower and further typical amenities. The bed was lovely decorated with lots of cushions and flowers.
Although arriving late we had enough time to order and enjoy dinner at the restaurant. The quality of the food and menu at the restaurant was creative, innovative and delicious. The menu covering all sorts of preferences (Mauritian style curries, great fish platters, Sushi or European style food) made even a picky eater like me really happy. Big thanks to the young chef Kevish and his team!
The staff was always attentive, no matter at what time or type of menu you take. Special thanks here to Atish, Varun and many others who took care of us for 8 days.
The hotel facilities are for this kind of size hotel clean and cosy. The pool is stylish, the beach is always clean. The hotel contains also a small spa which offers great treatments. If you get burned in the sun on your first day you need to get a 30 min After Sun treatment by Gita. Thanks to her magic hands we were able to recover from sunburn really fast.
To our further surprise many services were included at this hotel (usually hotels always try to charge you for every extras but not this one). Some of the many services free of charge were for example the water sports amenities like Kayak, SUP, snorckeling equipment etc, but also rent of bikes and many more.
Special thanks go to the hotel management represented by Manav. It was the first time for us at a hotel to get to know the hotel manager in person. He was constantly apparent and in contact with us and the hotel guests. He took care of special wishes or questions personally which gave us the feeling of VIPs.
All in all a great hotel if you seek romance and relaxation as a couple with a great staff and a private beach.

We stayed at Seapoint for only a couple of days at the end of an 11 day trips to Mauritius. From the start we could feel that this was a hotel that cared for their guests.

We have had such a nice finish to our vacation here. The place in it self is very beautiful, but the best thing about the hotel is still the staff. They make you feel very welcome and are very quick to give you any assistance you need. This is the kind of place where everyone in the staff knows who you are and what room you're in allready on the first day.

We have some food allergies that they were very quick to help us with in the restaurant. This has been problematic on other hotels during our trip, but at Seapoint they were quick to learn them and find ways to make great meals for us to enjoy. And that we did!

An extra thank you to the cleaning staff who would find you at some point during each day to find out if you were happy with your room or needed something else. And also for Ismael in the restaurant for both great help and nice conversations and the hotel manager, who has been very helpful from day one.

The hotel is located in a quiet are w/o traffic, but it is only a short walk to a main road, where some shops and bus stops can be reached easily. The beach is great and one can leisurely walk in both directions along the beach from the hotel. There are plenty of sunbeds both at the beach as well as at the pool.
The service provided by the management and the employees is excellent and very much personalized. As an example, information regarding allergies/food intolerance were requested upon check-in (my wife is intolerant to lactose). From this point on, there was no need to cross-check with staff regarding lactose in food: both kitchen and service were always aware of this issue and they took care not only to avoid any lactose in the food served, but they even prepared in many instances special dishes (e.g. a desert, pancakes w/ soy milk etc.).
Both the staff in direct contact with the guest as well as the staff in the background (e.g. housekeeping) did always an excellent job. Room service in the evening was done daily, to prepare the bed for the night, empty the waste baskets etc.
This was our 14th trip to Mauritius, but the first hotel stay on the island. But we will surely return for a relaxing vacation to this place during our next trip to Mauritius... Thanks to the entire team!

We came to seapoint for the first week of our honeymoon. After a very long flight, we were immediately met by the incredibly helpful and friendly staff who whisked our bags away to our room, gave us a refreshing drink, and a cold refreshing towel, exactly what we needed. From there the experience only got better and better, every staff member, and I mean every single one, makes you feel like royalty. At every opportunity they get, they check that your okay and ask if there is anything you need. The rooms are immaculate, and the cleaning staff do a lovely job of keeping the rooms clean whilst you're there. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough, the word boutique fits the hotel perfectly, small, personal service, beautifully decorated throughout, we absolutely loved it. 10/10 would recommend.

I cannot say enough about how brilliant our stay here was. The hotel is tiny, only 26 rooms, tucked away in the north west of the island, the only sounds you can hear are birdsong and the waves of the beach. The staff encourage the birds by feeding them now and again, it's magical. The beach is gorgeous, not quite the pure white sand, a little but rustic and wild, but sun drenched and perfect. We snorkelled everyday in the lagoon, it was amazing snorkelling, you just have to swim out about 50m to the reef to find the regrowing coral and thousands of fish.

This brings me into the hotel staff, they were exceptional, going out of their way to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable. They even prepared dinner early every night as my wife was pregnant and eating earlier helped her heartburn. The food was delicious, as pescatarians the fresh seafood was amazing. A special thanks to Manav and his team for making our stay so special.

Bear in mind the world was falling apart due to coronavirus, but the service never dipped or changed, such a credit to this place. Sadly due to the pandemic the hotel had to close but we were moved to their sister hotel, Seasense, on the east of the island, where the 10/10 performance continued.

Thank you again for making our babymoon incredible! We will definitely go back one day!!

My husband and i stayed at this lovely hotel for 6 nights on B&B with evening meal. The hotel itself is lovely, located on the beach with a pool and great views. You can take meals either in one of the restaurants or outside overlooking the sea. The hotel is set on a small beach where you can sunbathe or swim and just around the corner (about 10 minutes walk ) is the beautiful Mon Choisy beach which is fabulous and mostly empty. We used the hotel bikes a few times and they are in good condition and free, this enabled us to explore the local area. There are a couple of bars and restaurants close by if you fancy a change of scenery but we ate in the restaurant every night and found both the food and the service excellent, especially the wonderful seafood platter. Finally, the staff - everybody tries very hard to ensure you have a great stay but i would like to mention Ishmal for his super friendly and efficient service and Riad (sorry if I have spelt the names wrong) the Housekeeping Manager for moving us to a lovely suite following a small issue with our initial room, he even carried our clothes for us. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Seapoint and would highly recommend it.

We had an amazing 2 weeks at Seapoint Hotel. The staff were incredible, friendly, and made the stay very special. The small size of the hotel means the pool, the beach, the restaurant are nearby and our room (and all rooms I think) have great view out over the pool and over the ocean.

We had half board, breakfast and dinner. The food was always delicious with enough selection to have variations over a couple of weeks and an alternating set menus every day. The service impeccable throughout the day and the bar always ready to make great cocktails!

They have a paddle board and sea kayak to go exploring the ocean right in front of the hotel and sneaking kit to check out the reef.

We hired a scooter to get around the island and to local kitesurfing beaches and into Grand Baie where you can take tours out to some of the islands, so a great location for exploring the north of the island.

This very small hotel does offer an intimate experience with excellent, friendly service and good food. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. It is not a resort and very quiet. The beach is small as is the pool but with only about 24 rooms there is not much competition for sun beds. beware there are only 6 sun beds by the tiny pool but almost enough on the beach to satisfy the guests even if the hotel is full.
We found the staff and Kevin the Manager really go out of their way to ensure all the guests are happy and try to accommodate all requests.
I did find that there was a concerted effort to sell the sea food platter by the Waiters, who I guess get a good commission and when we showed no interest they soon found "favoured" guests who did succumb. We found other restaurants who did the same sea food platter on the Island for half the cost. That having been said the food was generally very enjoyable. Wine choice was limited and expensive but that may have been because of COVID at least that was the excuse. We did however find plenty of wine available in the supermarkets.
Overall we think this hotel is good value and great if you prefer a smaller more intimate offering with excellent service.
A special mention for Kevin the Manager who could not do enough to keep the guests happy.

Superb hotel on the northern tip of Mauritius, with views of Coin de mire island.
We spent 11 nights at this fabulous hotel, which was perfect for our tastes. We value a smaller hotel, with attentive service without being fussy, and good food. Seapoint fits that brief perfectly. After a long flight from the uk, we arrived at about 10am, and met by the hotel manager, Kevin, who took us to the Sea Lounge and introduced some of his team. Fruit juice and a cold towel was provided whilst completing the check in formalities. We were even given a selection of pastries as the breakfast service was just finishing. We were informed that our room was to be upgraded to a suite, which was a lovely gesture that we enjoyed every day of our stay. We also met with Avanash who spoke to us about extra options to the menu to cater for our vegetarian diet. We have experienced this level of personal service before, but at a much higher price point. Put simply, the whole team could not have been more friendly or accommodating during our entire stay and the entire team here is a credit to Seapoint. The culinary highlight for us was a platter of curry’s, produced just for us. Perfection!
During our stay we twice utilised the excursions offered with Sam, the hotels own driver, who showed us around both the North and South of the island. Genuinely enthusiastic and informative about his home, we could not have asked for a better guide. I would heartily recommend anyone staying here to utilise Sam and his car for excursions.
The room was lovely, perfectly clean and with comfy bed, and the usual amenities you would expect. Even the supplied shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were local and lovely. Kettle and Nespresso machine supplied with 3 pods - bring more from home if you have them. The mini bar fridge also had enough room for supplies from the nearby Momo shop. One bottle of water is supplied in the room per day, and that they are glass was appreciated. Plastic bottled water is much cheaper from the shop down the road, but I’d rather use glass if they were a bit cheaper. Despite other reviews we never found it difficult to get a sun lounger, but we do prefer the ones on the beach which didn’t fill up as quickly as the ones around the pool. We didn’t use the spa, so can’t comment on this, but prices seemed more than reasonable compared to other tropical destinations. Drinks were also reasonable if you are used to uk prices! Local Phoenix beer is 250 rupees, wine is around 400 per glass (the Sauvignon is particularly nice!) and cocktails are around the same.
Our transfer back to the airport was at 6pm but we requested a late checkout and despite capacity occupancy we were given the use of a room for the day which was very handy to make the most of our last day. Sadly we had to return home to normal life, but we will definitely be back!
