We stayed in the Field Centre dormitory in Danum Valley. We saw lots of animals, and a great time.Staff are friendly and food is good. However it is a bit expensive which makes it a lot more difficult to spend enough time there.

Relaxed, I wore linen trousers and a shirt but would have felt comfortable in smart shorts and a t shirt

Hi Annette, no fees will be charged. Have a good trip ahead. Was there in December and really enjoyed the experience.
