Every inch of the grounds are nothing short of breathtaking. The staff is just as amazing as the views. Tony took excellent care of making sure we had everything we needed as well as organizing and arranging activities for us to do. The rooms are beautiful with private plunge

This review pertains to the restaurant on property. This dinner marked a highlight of our trip. Although the drink and food choices were expensive, you expect it when you see this place. It has a very upscale Bali feel, with a view of the sunset like no other I have ever

Clean rooms, comfy beds, great staff and breathtaking views! When it comes to hotels, the first thing I look for is cleanliness, and Casa Chameleon certainly exceeded my standards. Next is a helpful and welcoming staff. From the moment my fiancée and I walked out of the airport

Everything about Casa Chameleon was spectacular. From the staff to the views to the private pools at each villa. A quiet, secluded destination. Not many restaurant choices close by but the food onsite was excellent so there was no need to go anywhere else.

How long of a drive is to Rio Celeste from the hotel?
I took the shortcut to the airport (you need a 4 x 4) which cuts at least 20 minutes off the journey but cannot be done if it has rained. Hotel to airport using that route was 1 hour and airport to Rio Celeste is about another 75 minutes

There are many options in the area to do this on a 1 day trip. Cataratas de Cortes is one. Our concierge service will be more than glad to help you

There is a small grocery store in one of the local towns with a small stock of wines and beers. I highly recommend checking it out. They have all sorts of Costa Rican snack foods! On the way to the hotel you will pass quite a few mini markets. While we were there during our stay in October, there was a grocery store being built in Las Catalinas near Casa Chameleon. Perhaps the construction will be completed and functioning by the time you visit. There are some local bars and restaurants nearby. The closest is Limonada, a short hike away from Casa Chameleon and on Playa Danta, Casa Chameleon’s closest beach. We ate here quite a bit for lunches. It was pretty good! The staff at Casa Chameleon are very friendly and very helpful! They should be more than happy to provide you with recommendations of things to do in the area.

"Some of the bungalows have quite a few steps to get to them. If you have issues with climbing stairs make sure you mention it when booking."
"Ask for sunset-villas (there are either sunrise or sunset) - we had the most beautiful sunsets!"
"Room 17 closeby pool and higher than others means great views. Less steps to other rooms."
"The sunset villas give fabulous views of the sunset"
"Choose a sunset plunge pool room"
