Room was clean and spacious, big TV, AC and a modern super clean bath and shower. As I was there for dental work at Sani Dental the staff took care of everything, I barely needed to ask. The pool was a welcome asset. The restaurant served great food for cheap. I would give this hotel 5 stars.
I booked an appointment at Supreme Dental in Algodones. After some confusion on line with the various .com booking companies, I connected with the hotel directly and booked a single, queen bed room for $60 for the following night. The room was definitely Mexico not The Four Seasons. It was spacious and very, very clean, as were the grounds outside. The bed had a firm, foam mattress. Sheets and linens were clean and recent. The pillow might have been more to my liking but it was OK. The tile floors were very clean and seemed washed before I checked in. The bathroom fixtures were recent and very clean and the shower water was hot. The remote for the air conditioner/heater was unusual. The newer, large flat screen TV remote seemed to have dead batteries. I read and didn't watch TV. The room lighting was good. The restaurant downstairs served reasonably-priced simple faire. Excellent enchilada plate with a bottle of beer was under $10. Breakfast the next morning, eggs with machaca (lean, shredded beef) with beans, and patties from fresh potatoes, and a huge glass of freshly squeezed orange juice was also under $10. They have several selections of soft food for dental patients. The waiter, Javier, is alone worth the price of the meals. What an interesting and entertaining man. Everyone at the front desk speaks English. Everyone was masked. Everyone was friendly and helpful and seemed determined to make my stay as good as any hotel where I have stayed at any price.…
My daughter accompanied me. I am in my 60s . Traveling alone to an unfamiliar place was not a comfortable choice. Our first meal there, staff approaches us while turning his baseball cap around . Asked if we knew Tyrone or Laqueeta in his best "ghetto" accent. OMG! Very disrespectful. When he heard our speech- he said I guess you're not Laqueeta! Not funny. Not nice. We dialogued a little more. After which he tried to do damage control. The freshly squeezed orange juice was refreshing. Our last order had been diluted with water. Sigh... Hacienda Hotel - NEVER AGAIN . Also dental work with Supreme Dental which offers another hotel for their clients. Supreme Dental Clinic - very pleased with them.
My wife and I went in February 2020 having been staying up in a very cold Utah. Two days in the Mexican sunshine 27 C drinking margaritas and listening to live mariachi music is a welcome feeling. But what a crazy small busy town. Tee shirts and dentists. nuts. Ok .. the hotel. At the end of a dusty dirt road. Its mexico not the U.S. Great little lay out but not fully happening early in the year. Pool area not warm enough yet. Little bar not open. Having said that it has a very pleasant courtyard and friendly staff. Accommodation is fine but a little basic. Plumbing and water a bit like the Greek islands in the 70's ( or 80's or 90's or ..... ). It all works but just. Don't compare here with the USA. Snowbirds come her for the sun in winter and the small town is very basic. Great street tacos. Great cheap strip bars ( Green door and Hawaiian ) if thats your thing. So... all up. The hotel is in keeping with just that. It works. Its basic. Not much better to choose from. No complaints all up. Hey, go mexican and buy the ticket. It's fun. Hasta la Vista baby !…
After spending the night in a very nasty motel in Phoenix AZ , Very pleased with next night at this motel has everything I needed very clean and friendly. I do recommend this one.I should also ad that I was here one year before and was impressed then but now I see they have made very impressive improvements to office and rooms.
Be ready to walk a dirt road to get there. The chef which is also the waiter, he was not nice at all. They should buy new towels, sheets and blankets. Sani Dental owns this hacienda, shame on them for not upgrading.
I was there for dental work & although the accomodations were meager, it was a cute & quaint place to stay & convenient for me to go to Sani. However, my privacy was compromised when my whereabouts were reported to my soon-to-be, ex-spouse in the states (when he called). Then, other customers were informed of the situation. This was too much for me......
This hotel is very quaint. The decor is a Mexican motif. The rooms were basic but clean. The bed was not the most comfortable but for $60 per night it was worth it. There is a very nice outdoor seating area and also an outdoor pool area. I spent a few days here and was very satisfied with it.
I decided to stay with friends and overnight in Algadones . Stay with friends ,eat ,shop etc. We decided on Hacienda. Price was $60 with a $50 deposit . I can only say the wife and Iwill not return. Noisy ,TV didn’t work ,AC was extremely loud , bed was hard , pillows were like blow up along with the mattress. We slept 0 , and although we felt safe, people were friendly, and tried hard to please, $60 was far to much money, and again we will not return.
I read the pet policy. But what would happen if it is a service dog, the majority of the clients that go to Algodones are Americans if an American arrives with a SERVICE DOG and their documents that prove it, should not be charged because Athe low is that SERVICE animals are not considered a pet because is a working dog.
