Detailed Reviews
Thank you Maddie for looking after our family and making sure we could use kayaks when there was an early shutdown on the kayaks and canoes. Lots to do from kayaking, tennis , swimming and even fishing off dock on last day. Nice environment with friendly people. Nice golf course, very challenging. Even got help from one of the residents when we found ourselves with a flat tire on last day there.

Came for two nights with two couples for a golf trip. The property is quite nice. Golf course is very hilly and the greens are very challenging. The resort is quite disorganized and needs much better staffing. Seems like high school kids are working at most positions. It was difficult to get proper information including the size of the beds in the accommodations. Our trailer had one queen bedroom and the other two bedrooms had single beds, not big enough for an adult male. Things need to be much better organized.

Great Blue Resorts - Bellmere Winds Resorts. Like to give a shout out to Arika Brown who checked us in and Kalista Childs who looked after our golf needs. First time we stayed at this resort, had a wonderful time enjoyed the beach, pools and especially the splash pad/pool in Phase 2. Would most likely return.

Booked a two nights stay at one of the most expensive nightly stay cottages at Bellmere Winds Gold Resort.
I specifically wanted a cottage with Wifi to be able to work remotely while my family enjoys a short vacation.
Within a few minutes of us checking in, I found that the internet doesn’t work, neither does the AC and a few lights.
I informed the reception expecting that I’ll get some help. I was told that the concerned staff had left for the day and I’ll have to wait until the next morning for someone to even entertain the fact that basic items, items that I paid for are missing in my stay.
I called their Operations Manager Jayson and explained the matter. He heard me and offered some help. He spoke to one of the other Managers, Kevin, who send the security guy to fix the internet and the AC. Obviously nothing was fixed as he was the security guy and not a technician.
It is around 27 c indoors right now and I asked the security guy to inform Kevin that we can not sleep in this heat without the AC and if they can’t get it fixed then can move us to another cottage that has a working AC. Kevin kept saying nothing can be done at this time.
Can you imagine, paying around $420 a night, booking a very specific cottage to have all the perks to make it an enjoyable vacation for my family and being told nothing can be done at this time. I’ve been chasing them all day, missed a very important work meeting, missed time with family and couldn’t join them at the resort activities because I was trying to get hold of someone to have this fixed.
It is boiling hot inside and my family is cursing me for bringing them here.
Worst stay ever, customer service couldn’t be worse than this. Absolutely ZERO regard for the customer. Most definitely won’t even think of coming here again.

We stayed here this past weekend. The cottages are tiny trailers not really cottages. We went with two other families. We all paid the same amount for our cottage yet our cottage was extremely tiny compared to the other two families and we didn't even get basic amenities. There was no cable or internet, while the other families did get these amenities. The worst part was that we couldnt even get hot water so my toddlers were forced to take ice cold showers. When we attempted to contact the staff to inquire about the water no one answered the phones or returned our voice messages the entire weekend.
We were told the kayak rentals were open until 5pm and were available on a first come first serve basis. When we returned at 4pm hoping the crowd for rentals would be less we discovered they closed the rentals early so we didn't get to use it.
There was no one controlling the pools. We couldn't find the sanitation stuff to clean the seats as it was stated on the welcome sheet.
It has now been two days and I am still waiting for management to call me back to discuss my experience.
I am not happy with our experience especially given how much you pay.

Most courses offer deals in the winter to keep some revenue coming in. Bellemere restricts bookings to those that supported them in the winter months to a 5 day advanced booking. You cannot get a tee time on a Friday, (and most days) 5 days in advance. I will NEVER support this course EVER again. Traps are club damaging garbage and there is no rough 5 feet off the fairways, just garbage. If you're 5 feet off the fairway, you should be able to find a ball. Owners are only motivated by $$$, not having a good resort/golf course. Stay away!

Course was OK. Traps were unplayable because of weeds, rocks and no rakes. Cart paths needed attention. No ball washers. Our Stay & Play package was supposed to include unlimited golf, but this was not the case. You could only book extra golf after you finished your first round, and only if there were any openings available. Trailer was in new phase with construction ongoing. Dump trucks, excavators, back up horns and lots of dust all day long. Bathroom was filthy, deck and lawn chairs were covered in dust and we had to clean them everyday if we wanted to use them.

The staff, course & accommodations were all great. Had a little problem with the early check in, but the staff quickly rectified it. The greens on the course where in great shape. I had no complaints about anything that weekend. This is a destination I will defiantly re-visit. The accommodations where very clean when we arrived. When they say to just bring linens, thats all you need to bring. They where well supplied.

First of all, the golf course was great. A bunch of us went on an overnight golf package and the golf proved challenging especially when you think of the location and figure you'd be getting mediocre. It was anything but.... It was definitely imperative to keep shots in play or you'll be adding strokes. The accommodations were in what I would call a cross between a trailer and a small modular home. Very tight quarters for 4 men. One very tiny shower with no bedding provided. The real let down is that other than a sandwich or hot dog along with pop/beer and only during golf hours there is nothing requiring you to load up on groceries for an overnight or head into either Hastings or Keene for breakfast or dinner.

First, let me start by saying I got hurt here and it could have been avoided. My daughter and I were playing on the floating dock and on one of the four corners which should have been capped for safety and were not and I slipped and tore my foot open. I have been taking pain meds for the last 5 days. The person I spoke to said this had never happened before. Not are you okay or anything. then I ran into the manager sweet lady Katie who promised me this would be looked after. I hope so. Also my son had a hard time getting onto the dock (where is the ladder)?? I had a hard time. I'm assuming whoever plans these things both safety issues does not have kids.
Besides still limping due to injury let me share some pro's and some suggestions:
We came with 3 kids ages 14, 11, and 8.
Pro's/Suggestions
Splash Pad - seperate from pool so if you have younger kids they are safe.
Floating dock (hopefully now safe) with a walk on water mat was pretty cool.
Pool - Nice but BURRR it is not heated although it is said that it is. Also when my family walked by at night the solar blanket is not put on. One would wonder why. Cause I would heat at night because it's cheaper and warm during day and solar blanket would lower heating costs.
Park is clean. Well kept and spacious.
Basketball court and tennis - a great addition and gets teens off their phones and out hanging out with others. The week we were there the balls were all flat. a simple and free fix.
Park is safe for kids to roam and ride bikes around and one does not head to worry.
Staff are friendly and gladly will help if then can.
Not sure why there is not a store by pool. It is a hot spot for guests to get a treat and Great Blue to make cash. I would have bought a snack every day and probably an ice cream after dinner as kids came to park after dinner.
Firewood having to drive to golf course (later found out if you paid cash they would deliver) is a pain.
Also when we arrived it was weird to check in with the golfers. It was not clear where the check in was and when I asked I felt dumb, Never good to make customer feel dumb.
The park was beautiful and the view wonderful. WE HAVE RENTED FROM GREAT BLUE THREE TIMES NOW and this is the best park so far. I suspect if Great Blue Spent a few (very small amount) safety issues could easily be taken care of. To the higher ups if you read this fresh eyes, or this has never happened before and now it has are tools you can use to make you're product better. As a parent with these few things I mentioned would have parents say oh they thought of everything cool and we relax and everyone has fun.
A suggestion returning customers might be great fresh eyes to do a walk through with you or to do a quick review to help you make this product even better. Having been here and your one in Campbellford I have noticed the product is not consistant.
If you stop by this resort the manger Katie listens well and will openly ask I hope everything is ok or are you enjoying your stay. She loves the park and the company she will be good for the brand.
