we went on a very busy Saturday evening, luckily we had booked ahead. Despite being busy, the customer service was friendly and efficient. food was standard pub fare, reasonably priced.drinks were quite pricey. we were chased off our table as soon as we had eaten, no time for a relaxing post meal drink. we had the table for less than... A good no nonsense hotel with good service ... even when very busy ... which it often is. Honest value food, great room (we stayed in Nº 1) with a nice sized bathroom and a good shower. Only downside ... room can be a bit noisy with the sound of machinery humming all the time.

Family of 3 have now stayed at the Glen Hotel twice and on both occasions we were very warmly welcomed by the owners and given a family room. This was a very large, comfy, warm (it was mid December) with a cracking bathroom. We stayed in the hotel for dinner which had an unbelievable selection for such a small town,... More

I stayed here in March with my mum as we were going to the open day at Ardverikie on the Sunday so thought we would stay a couple of nights! I have been in this hotel only for food many years ago when I came up for the same reason and to meet some friends from different places around the... More

Me and my partner were staying the night in a B&B in Newtonmore, we walked down to The Glen Hotel for a meal and a few drinks. Great selection of real ales and whisky, menu and specials board was also good and the food we ordered was faultless. Well worth a visit for good food and a few pints!!!

Unless you like good service, good beer, good food, big comfy beds, an interesting place to wander around (look out for the wildcat trail) and mugs in the room and for your breakfast tea don't stay here! The kind of place we dream about staying, but seldom find.

The Glen Hotel what a gem. Very good choice on the menu as well as a specials board, all tastes catered for. Meals we had were delicious and fulfilling. The bar was busy and we were able to walk in off the street. The hosts were attentive obviously had years of experience in this field. Tried their Cairngorms lager and... More

Stayed here for one night whilst travelling the west coast. Nice traditional hotel. The room was good, very clean and all facilities. The highlight was our visit to the bar. The place was very busy, full of locals eating, a good sign! The food was delicious. Lots of variety and seemed to be fresh local produce. The staff were friendly... More

We stayed here overnight in a room overlooking the main street and the hills beyond. The room was nicely furnished and the bed comfortable. The owners were very hospitable. We ate our evening meal in the restaurant and were pleased with the standard of food. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a very friendly small hotel. Our room was very nice, if a little small for the furniture that had been squeezed in. The bed was large (two singles joined together) and really comfortable, with soft pillows and high-quality linen. The bedroom and bathroom had clearly been refitted quite recently and were well appointed. The bar doubles as the... More
