We stayed at Larick B & B in June 2016 and whilst we had booked for 2 nights forfeited the 2nd night because of the unacceptable small room, uncomfortable bed, pillow and inferior quality linen. We found the breakfast below par and this property did not live up to our expectations in any way.

Every year that we have stayed there we have come away feeling happy and we are made to feel so welcome by a truly delightful hostess. Her house is most comfortable. Guest rooms are well furnished and fully appointed. The breakfasts are superb and there is an excellent lounge. The surrounding area is scenic and the town has most facilities... More

I could not recommend this convenient and friendly bed and breakfast more highly. The owner Amanda was most welcoming and provided an excellent home good breakfast with a variety of delicious jams made by her father. The room was spacious with some lovely little touches including hand cream and complementary whisky liqueur, the en-suite bathroom was immaculately clean.

We are pleased you enjoyed your stay at Larick and thanks for your lovely comments. Newtonmore is a good stopping point if you are heading North, South, East or West since we are central Highlands. More

We booked for 1 night at less than an hours notice - Amanda could not have been more accommodating & her delightful dog Floss obligingly took us for a walk whilst she made up the room! The twin ensuite is perfect, good beds, good linen, lovely shower facilities, quality products. Breakfast is just right - bacon, egg sausage & haggis... More

Stayed two separate nights either side of a visit to Skye. Great welcome for us both and our dog. Plenty of information. Good breakfast. Good company and highly recommended. Comfortable and very welcoming stay. Also given all the local information on Shinty fixtures. Well worth watching some in season.

What an impressive welcome - From the moment we arrived we were warmly greeted and offered a safe and secure place for our motorcycle which was very reassuring. There was an offer of a hot drink along with a choice of cakes and biscuits which was much needed after our journey. Amanda sat us down in the main lounge where... More

From the minute we arrived Amanda made us feel at home. Larick House is a great B&B in a superb location. We had a twin room with ensuite which was bright, clean and had everything you need and more.....Stag honey whisky and a whole packet of shortbread much to my husbands delight :-) You had a great choice at breakfast... No request is too much trouble for Amanda and her knowledge of the local area is second to none. We've stayed here six times and have never been disappointed with the service, cleanliness, hospitality, wifi coverage, quietness of the location, stunning scenery or quality of the breakfasts. We will always make this our interim stop on our journey to Orkney.

Amanda is the perfect owner/hostess--inviting you into her home with the warmth of , "Won't you come in and have a cup of tea?" There are two en suite rooms and two that share a bathroom. We stayed in Room 4--a twin-bedded one that shares the first floor bathroom with Room 3. Not a problem at all--no noise from room... More
