This is a pleasantly informal small hotel in a quiet spot and the host is very friendly and helpful . We came on a deal and enjoyed our stay enough to be planning to come back again -although we apparently got the short straw and got one of the less desirable small rooms(very clean) with no television but Dougie did...

The hotel is right next to the golf course in the lovely Newtonmore village. Its more of a guest house than a hotel and rooms basic but very nice. We had the room at the front of the hotel and view we woke up too was fabulous (see attached). We went on a Groupon voucher and got outstanding value. The...

This is actually more of a guest house than a hotel. We stayed on a KGB voucher but normal prices are very reasonable. The hotel is clean, and the room and ensuite were very clean. The proprietor of the hotel could not have been more welcoming, took us to our room, showed us to our room and was knowledgeable about...

Lovely hotel quietly situated in spacious mature gardens on the edge of Newtonmore golf course with fantastic views towards the Cairngorms. We were made extremely welcome by Dougie and felt like we were staying a large family home rather than a hotel. Our room was comfortable and clean although fairly basic. One problem for me was the very small TV...

My 83 year old father (safely enthroned in his mobility scooter) and I stayed for 3 nights at Craigerne House Hotel, Newtonmore in December on a KGB voucher deal. We travelled to the hotel on the overnight Caledonian Sleeper service from London to Newtonmore station, which is a short 5 minute walk/scooter ride from the hotel. We arrived early in...

Booked with the KGB Deals offer (£35). There is nowhere mentioned within the deal that the breakfast isn't a cooked one - it's described as "tasty" on the voucher. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was a continental breakfast (didn't include cheese, cold meats or pastries; just cereals, toast and jam). The hotel is pretty basic, however...
