Stayed during 2019, very satisfied. A clean, basic room with everything we needed, there was a problem in the bathroom so we were upgraded to a sea view room FOC. Most of the food was okay, labels stating what various things were would of been handy as I ended up eating something with seafood on it, which I'm not a fan of. Staff were spot on, the pool looked alright even though we didn't use it... Wouldn't hesitate to return

Came here with my teenage son, not bad for the price. As there were just two of us I was looking for a break where everything was in easy reach and it was, beach just over the road and shops nearby. There were some great places to eat locally, bar over road with night time entertainment and meal on the beach after eating the all inclusive food at the hotel we thought we were in heaven there! Not many/no English people here when we went. Pool was over run with teenage boys splashing everyone but we didn’t stick around the hotel through the day. Night entertainment was pretty poor but was a laugh, even though it was meant to be serious. Worth taking day trips out there is some beautiful places easily accessible by the train and boat. Definitely worth going out on the local catamaran trip for an afternoon and doing the beach kayaking. We had a room toward the back with another hotel for a view. Got the sun in the evening, didn’t mind as it was quieter and didn’t have to watch all the irritating teenagers in the pool. Only one channel on tv in English about sheds which the son wasn’t happy about

We had booked a week's holiday in October. After arriving late we had some food and went straight to bed. Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. We asked to change rooms because our first was small and looked like a prison cell. The second was bigger but the furniture was very poor condition, the balcony was so small the two patio chairs took up the whole space and the cleanliness of the room was terrible. There were broken floor tiles and the bed sheets even had cigarette burns on them. Had to get up in the middle of the night to put a to put a towel under the door as there was a huge gap which let all the light in. We are not fussy, we do a lot of camping but there are two things we enjoy on a holiday away. Good food and a comfy bed. Unfortunately, the food was awful and the bed was the most uncomfy one I have ever slept in. We only stayed one night and decided to look for another place to stay, even though we had paid for the full week. We were so disapointed as the pictures made it look like a lovely hotel. It was beyond dated and run down and we would never ever go back.

After reading the horrendous reviews on here, we were dreading our stay!! When we arrived, were dropped off around the corner, arrived after 2am. We were greeted my a really lovely man at reception, who really was lovely and kept chatting away to our baby while we were collecting our room key etc. We got a shock when we got into our room, super dated, tiny old fashioned telly, and 2 single beds together. No cot was put in place till morning, but that was alright. There was a bit of a funky smell from the tap water and toilet, but noticed this was the same in a few toilets down the strip, possibly to do with being by the sea/old plumbing?! Walls were super thin, and you do hear a lot of people passing through the corridors, quite a lot of loud drunks passing our room from midnight to 5am some nights. Beds were not comfy, but I have to highly commend the cleaning staff, our room was pristine, smelt fresh, clean sheets and towels everyday!! Really clean hotel, cleaners always about. The pool is very clean, and the gardens were swept and hosed every morning, so everything was kept very neat and tidy! Also, a very big thank you to the Chefs, cooks, waiter eases/waiters, bar staff, reception staff, we found all the staff very hard working, and I feel very sorry for the chefs/cooks, they get a very hard time in these reviews, but we found our food delicious!! So much to choose from!! We’ve put on weight with the amount of food we’d had the week we stayed there. I understand now, why people say the food is cold, it’s hot when lifted. But when you go to your tables, the air conditioning is on, and it cools your plates. There is a microwave you can use, but we didn’t need to use it!! Well done to the Chefs, the puddings were beautiful, and the presentation to your food was remarkable for it being a 3* star hotel! Also thank you to the manager, who always made himself available if needed! Once you get over the old fashioned style, we actually got used to it, and it felt like home after a few days! A big thank you to all you hard working staff! We applaud you! If the owner could think about updating the TVs in bedrooms and put new mattresses On the beds, you could possibly move up a star?! A good mattress is so important!!! Thank you Planamar! Xxx

Was given a room right outside a large and very loud air conditioning unit, asked to change, was then given an even worse room that stunk of sewage and damp, then finally changed to a third room which was marginally better. Rooms in major need of an update. The breakfast was awful! Very low quality, cold eggs, cocktail sausages, hot drink machine never worked and the coffee and hot chocolate tasted very strange. The juice was basically water. I have paid for cheap hotels before and they have not been this bad. Only positives is the location and the train line with quick and easy access to Barcelona and other resorts/ towns.

My husband and I took my mum away for a week's holiday it cost us £190 each all inclusive 1st week in October. The hotel was clean, the rooms were basic but very clean food was good and the staff were lovely. The only complaint we had and it was minor was everytime you want a coffee from the machine we had to go ask for the cups as they didn't leave them out. You had to wait in the queue at the bar just to ask for the cups. The manager was in the bar some nights having a drink and talking to his customers and he was a lovely man. This was good to get to know the manager as some hotels you never see management. All in all a great holiday for the price we paid. Please don't listen to all the negative reviews.

On arrival, we were disappointed with the room which was small and very dated and in much need of an update. The bathroom had a bath with a shower mixer above and an unsuitable shower curtain. I sustained a bad injury from water seeping under the bathroom door which put a bit of a damper on the holiday. I cannot really lay the blame anywhere ( a stupid accident) and the staff could not have been more helpful. the pool is on the small side but the gardens are quite nice. The restaurant was also dated with lots of wobbly chairs, I feared sometimes for another mishap so made sure of stability before sitting. It wasn't very comfortable queuing to get in, simple wrist bands would be better. The food was basic, loads of chips and pasta(my hate) but you could find something albeit either cold or lukewarm,(cold fried eggs at breakfast, not a joy) but once again the staff were lovely. The entertainment was adequate for the size of the hotel. I can't thank the staff enough for their friendliness and the cleaning staff do a great job given the task facing them with the gloomy sad rooms, very well cleaned every day . All in all a reasonable if not gloomy hotel for what you pay, we were all-inclusive so price was comparable. If you don't mind a tight squeeze in the room /bathroom and you can ignore the lack of electrical sockets, no FREE wifi and the overall tiredness of the place its okay if that is what 3stars gets you. .

The only good thing really about the hotel was the sun. The place is very run down and needs some serious revamping! The food is way below par at most. You’re faced with really cold bacon, pale unappealing beans, everything is cold! The toaster! Don’t even bother unless you want to stand there for 5 minuets as you put it through 10+ times! The beds are awful! Seriously! It’s like sleeping on springs with a thin sheet of foam on top. The bed squeaks with every single movement you make! The pillows are long and thin! Very uncomfortable. You have a plastic layer under your bed sheet, which is also very noisy and cold. The bed almost reminded me of an army cot! The bathroom is disgusting! The bath looks like it’s never been cleaned! The toilet is filthy and stinks (before use!) the shower curtain was disgusting and dirty! The tiles were dusty and the balcony was very unsightly. All through the night it’s very noisy! People constantly walking up and down, laughing, talking and kids screaming at 4AM onwards, you could hear every single sound! It was just absolutely shattering! The whole card system is shocking! You are greeted by unwelcoming staff who don’t take kindly to you forgetting your AI and green card! You need to bring back your cup before you get another drink. You get plastic flimsy cups and they’re so thin. It’s like the staff can’t be bothered to even smile! The hotel is really not as advertised! And they wanted €30 extra a night to change your view! As we refused to pay that price we were stuck with a really unflattering view of the car park! Which had a nasty smell wafting over too! And bird faeces covering the place! It’s just really not nice! Even the water had a strong chemical taste from the machine! Please! Do not waste your time! Please! Reconsider your choice to book with this hotel!
