I have been coming to malgrat de mar for years and have stayed in other htop hotels always had a great time. This hotel was terrible me and our family really have had a holiday from hell. Please do not pay all inclusive to stay in this hotel we was penalised for this. On our first day we went to the outside bar to get a drink was told no you can’t get a drink from here it’s for paying customers only yours is free you have to go inside to get a drink. First night asked waiter for a drink was told no yours is free go to inside bar if you want a drink here you have to pay. First morning we asked to get coffee and wanted to pay for coffee was told this is not possible until 9pm and if all inclusive you can get at 10. There is no kettle or fridge in room for drinks we paid €12 to have a fridge for 3 nights no problem but it didn’t work. They really do not want the English people at this hotel. However children’s entertainers were brilliant and hotel was clean. This has put me off for life. It’s such a shame how this hotel has let the htop group down. This hotel was like staying in a basic hostel I just wanted to cry and come home. I was prepared to eat out every day for lunch and dinner because I like to do that on holiday it was a good job I had that in mind because food was horrendous

ok lets start with something positive. The location was perfect, the rooms were very clean and were cleaned every day. The reception staff was very friendly and the people from the animation team did a good job. However........ I already read that the food was pretty bad but i thought, how bad can it be. Well let me tell you, it was even worse than my imagination. And the worse part isnt even that, the staff working in the dining room and behind the bar are incredible rude and very cranky. I get that its not the most glamorous job and they work very hard, but part of the job is providing a friendly service and making sure everybody is content. Please hotel cartago nova, properly train your team for beter service because this is not acceptable

Hey all, I would like to express feelings, that me and my girlfriend got from being in this Hotel. This is just our experiance. We had “all inclusive” level of service. Positive: - Clean towels every day - Cousine were pretty good + lot of fruits - Hotel will provide you the anti-Covid mask for free Negative - Pictures of the hotel not really match the reality. - The staff in bar are not client oriented. We got feeling that we were bothering them for all the time we asked for anything. - Several times happened that silverware were not cleaned properly. - With all inclusive you are not allowed to take even an apple with you from lunch, - horibble coffee just from automate - espresso is not included in all inclusive. If you not insist on better coffee and swear that you will pay for that you will get it :-) - Lack of evening programme - it was better to go to other hotels nearby for great live music (staff and service there were much better).

Room Tip: Not take “All inclusive” service. We don’t think it worth it if you are not planning to drink...

I visited this hotel not too long ago. It wasn’t very up to date but you get exactly what you pay for. You have lovely food , friendly staff and a clean room. You can hear the club nearby but it’s not that bad. Especially if you are going out during the night yourself and having a drink it’s nothing. I really enjoyed my holiday and would visit again. Very good price for what you get.

During the daylight is OK, but during the night it is impossible to sleep one hour because of the Club noise from the Hotel. Try to avoid this hotel if you want to be happy on the beach ... A better chance is to find out other hotels to stay not only in Malgrat de Mar but in the neighborhood
