The hotel itself is located over a two hour transfer for Barcelona airport, so I would definitely recommend flying into Girona instead if visiting. The hotel is modern and the rooms are large and bright. We had a sea facing balcony ( paid for) which was lovely, however you are next to the main road and strip therefore if you are with younger children you can hear the train, dust bin men, that seem to collect rubbish between 12 and 1am at night and also noisy holiday makers. Maybe opt for a room at the back of the hotel. The pools were excellent although cold. There was a baby pool for up to 5 years and a larger children's pool with larger slides up to about 12 years, although lots of adults also seemed to be having fun on these as well. There is a further deeper pool as well. We had no problem getting a lounger each day. The food was possibly the poorest thing about the hotel. It seemed repetitive with the same soup, spaghetti bol, some meat and pizza and chips every day. It wasn't themed like in others. If I came back I wouldn't come on the all inclusive. The entertainment is pretty poor as well. The surrounding area is full of little gift shops which are nice and the gravelly beach has loungers out each day. You can get a train ride into different areas locally and there is a market on a Tuesday.

Just got back from our 5 nights in this hotel. It wasn’t as I was expecting.
The food was not very nice at all, quite cold from being stod under the hot plates .if you don’t like fish …. Then bring your packed lunch as it was on the menu every lunch and tea.
The drinks were very strong when made by bar staff and wasn’t much of a choice for the kids unless they liked fizzy drinks.
There was food left out allday for the snack bar which gave me a dodgy tummy due to flys? I’m not also sure of the water on the container at the bar was bottled ?
The hotel apart from the food .it was spotlessly clean with not a spot of dirt in the room we stayed in.
The pools didn’t do the photos on the booking sites which makes them look really big.
There is 2 tiny pools at the back with a small slide or 2 which was suitable for under 5s.These were closed due to winter.
The outside pool was freezing cold and also very tiny. And didn’t seem enough sun beds around it.

Enjoyable weeks stay at the Hotel Europa. Good food. Hotel very centrally located. The Water Park wasn't open - which we knew about
Just a couple of negatives. The Head Waiter in the Restaurant was not very helpful. The bedroom we were allocated was at the side with a view of the dustbins and storeage area. Seems like if you go with Love Holidays they allocate poor rooms. Some of the other rooms have wonderful balconies and face the sun all day.
The Bar staff are really friendly as was the Reception staff
Can really recommend this Hotel

Myself and my husband took our two kids to Europa splash hotel and spa on our holidays this year from late September early October and it wasn’t the best experience hotel I’ve ever stayed in probably one of the worse. We paid for a sea view room got the back of another hotel view, bins and beer kegs our room was tiny for four people, the shower floods the bathroom floor as no shower door there making the floors extremely dangerous and slippy my 18 months old and husband fell and was badly bruised. When brought to lady on reception attention she sent a cleaning lady to our room with no English to look. next door’s balcony’s tables and chairs were placed right outside my bathroom window so we couldn’t even open it up when showering etc as they can see right in. Food was standard all inclusive food but very small selection, was very repetitive. One of the lifts were not working so was a long wait to get to your floor, the slides etc were closed and we were told they closed the 19/09/2023 but we arrived the 25th of sep the both pools weren’t even opened as we have meet families that was at the hotel that had been there before the 19th and said they weren’t opened. It was one of the main reason we booked the hotel in the first place, the two slides pool were full of the green slippery algae .So the hotel full of families and kids had only one tiny small kids pool and standard size deep pool to use, no life guards there to watch anyone is the deep pool. We obviously meet a few lovely families on holidays as you do and we were up chatting away having a few drinks we were told off at the beginning once it half 11 the bar stop serving and we have to be out of the hotel seating area, which we thought was wrong we paid good money to go for a weeks holiday and we didn’t get the experience we should have. Entertainment was standard usual mini disco, different kind of shows etc. hotel to be fair was clean very clean and they why it got 2 stars from me. We are completely disappointed as we were at malgarat de mar last year and loved it so went back this year and said we would try this splash hotel for the kids. The maid would come in every day but would always forget to leave something like toilet roll or towels. I would think twice if ye were booking into this hotel with families.

We just got back from an amazing holiday yesterday to this hotel and I am so glad we booked it. We booked it a year ago and was a bit apprehensive after reading the old reviews but the newer ones gave me hope. We landed in Barcelona airport and we booked our holiday through love holidays and there seemed to be a bit of confusion as to where to get our transfer which was included. The driver took ages and seemed to make 2 pitstops at various shops which added to the annoyance of holiday makers desperate to get to their hotels but we finally arrived after asking to be let off as we could see our hotel which was a short walk away. Anyway, rant over. When we got in, the staff were really friendly as we got checked in, telling us about the times of the meals and where we could find out about the entertainment. Our room was lovely too with 2 double beds pushed together which our 2 boys found great fun to be all sleeping in the same bed. We made it to the pools and there was plenty of available sunbeds despite us arriving in the afternoon and the kids absolutely loved the pools and slides. The little pool had 3 water slides, a fountain like palm tree and a tall contraption that occasionally emptied a huge bucket of water into the pool every so often which was great fun. The food was lovely and fresh too, we had a themed Mexican night but that seemed to be the only theme that week. There was plenty of foods for fussy eaters, one of mine got by with watermelon, bread rolls and butter and fruit, there was fish, meats which were clearly lablled and pasta, a choice of three sauces and cheese, chips etc. The pool bar was available when the main restaurant was closed and had chicken nuggets, chips, burgers (I think was mixed meats) and chicken kebabs which was tasty. All the staff were really friendly and the place was cleaned daily. I just want to add that the location of the hotel was perfect, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars along the main strip and there was a trampoline and arcade place 2 doors away which the boys loved and was on it almost every evening. The beach was over the road and never seemed packed when we visited it and the water was so clear, we even saw a jellyfish! Overall, we will definitely come back to this hotel as it was perfect for us travelling as a family.

I booked 2 rooms, one for my mum and 36 year old brother and another for myself, husband and 2 children. The rooms were small and all had double beds which was awful, in our situation what grown man wants to share a bed with his 70 year old mum and we had a 13 year old girl with an 8 year old boy.

The hotel was clean, bright and airy. We were all inclusive and the drinks were very basic, never in a glass, always a plastic party cup!

The pools were nice, my husband and daughter used the slides and younger one liked the splash park. You couldn't use your inflatables here which was disappointing.

The evening entertainment was good, flamenco dancing, singers, a disney show. The kids mini disco was the same every night. After a week we were fed up with baby shark 🦈.
The area was nice, we did a train journey to Barcelona, dofi jet boat to tossa de mar, there were lots of shops, my husband said it's like a Spanish blackpool!

The hotel food wasn't great, often cold, and meat products under cooked. It was the same pizzas burgers chips and hotdogs in the kids buffet with raw burgers. It really wasn't what we expected. The holiday cost over £5000 in 2019.

I've noticed this hotel is no longer available with jet2, it was a long 10 days we had here.

All you could really desire from an all inclusive hotel

Nice and easy check in, with very polite reception team, giving you all the information you could ever need during your stay.

Went up to the room and like the rest of the hotel was very spacious and clean with a fantastic view over the pool from the balcony

Cleaners came in to make the beds and mop the floors every day.

The food was basic but you could always find something to eat, one downside was you have to pick your mealtimes early as the restaurant is a little small for the amount of people staying at the hotel and large queues do develop.

Great selection of drinks makes the all inclusive a great option

All in all a great October holiday

We had booked a different hotel over a year ago and got this one as the other one had overbooked and thank god they did, I’m currently still here but absolutely love this hotel and far by the best of many holidays we have been to, had to pay €18 when arrived, not a problem! rooms are gorgeous and cleaned everyday we stayed on 5th floor very modern, the pools are perfect for our little boy to keep our eye on he’s not stopped smiling since we came, staff are absolutely amazing specially lady at snack bar with the best chicken wraps ( you have to try) but you just can’t stop eating them! Ha! Food is very much like any holiday our little boy is a fussy eater so that’s his problem more than the hotels so he’s been happy eating what he can and hasnt gone hungry, we loved the food salad is beautiful and the pizzas are to die for even have little crisps and nuts to eat all day with even fresh orange on a morning from the orange blender which I haven’t seen in many, Little rides and bouncy castles right next door for €1 for 10 mins which is ideal, we got a taxi to the hotel what was €120 took a hour, plenty of shops close by, overall we absolutely love this place and if we could would stay longer but will definitely be returning, thank you Europa splash you have gave us the best holiday 😁

Smiling, friendly and helpfull staff everywhere in the hotel. Clean, wide and very comfortable rooms. They serve varied delicious food at the restaurant. The pool and slide areas are perfect for families. During the day you can also enjoy a wonderful view from the terrace on the roof. The hotel benefits from a great location to go the beach or walk along the pedestrian shopping area in Malgrat and Santa Susanna. Another pleasant walk to have along the sea is starting from there up to Pineda de mar.

Got moved to this hotel as original hotel splash park was not open yet, only to be told on arrival splash park not open to two days after my family holiday was finished. Rooms small but clean and cleaned daily. Reception staff really nice especially a man with shaggy hair as could not do enough looked like the manager. All other staff very helpful with exception of one bar tender who is very rude to most British customers and serves others fist as mention by many guests. Food is basic but fresh and a choice for everyone. Beware snack bar food was cold as heater was/is broken (see pictures). Entertainment is average and repeated weekly so if your staying over a week you will see the same show. Child entertainment is limited to one lady and again is games in the day and a little disco in the evening. Think is 18 euros on arrival at the hotel for tourist tax. Safe in room for one week is around 40 Euros. Wi-Fi out down stairs but not great in the rooms. Air conditioning in rooms is working and fine. Anyone has any questions about hotel or area let me know happy to try and help!
