The hotel is in a secluded location so you feel like you can truly escape. The building itself reminded us of the house in Call Me By Your Name - beautiful. The interiors too were spectacular, with the bar being decorated with paintings and photographs as well as a variety of antiques.
The staff are incredibly friendly and speak a range of languages (they were kind enough to speak Spanish with my partner who is practising). The restaurant had delicious food at reasonable rates and the staff were attentive, respectful and polite. And what a view from the restaurant terrace!
The room itself was airy, large, with a huge shower and a massive bath, and double sink. Bed comfortable and TV had access to Netflix.
The highlight for us was relaxing by the pool. The hotel has a variety of sun loungers, pool beds, and pods and overlooked by the stunning mountain.
Would highly recommend.
Hotel interior and exterior is just amazing. So many details. Just look at the pictures. Every corner of this hotel is so picturesque.
Rooms were good. Someone would say a bit dated but that is just the hotels style. We had a big terrace with sunbeds, sun umbrellas, table and chairs. Did not use it beacuse we were either by the pool or sightseeing. But good to have it if staying longer.
There is a big pool with enough sunbeds and cabanas for everyone and a breathtaking view on the mountain peeks. You get the towels for the pool at the hotel. Bartender comes a few times a day and you can order drinks. Or you can just order them at the bar.
At the ground floor there is a bar, a sitting area and a restaurant. Every night we had drinks in the sitting area in front of the hotel. Again so peacefull and relaxing.
Breakfast was great. Everything you could wish for and also fresh and tasty.
Staff was soo nice and helpful. You just feel so welcomed.
We were there for 4 night and then switched to another hotel and another part of the island but if I could do it again would definitely book a few more nights here.
While staying there were just two small kids so it was not very noisy at the pool. Also plus for us.
And there were no events during our stay. This is a location known for holding wedding dinners and other event so check with them if there are any during your stay.
Would definitely come back!:)
It really is a hidden gem, the staff, rooms, pool area and food are all five star and as stated in other reviews you feel as if you have travelled to some very distant location when in fact it is amazingly only about 30 minutes from the airport. We are very much looking forward to visit number 3.
Could not recommend it enough for not only a wedding venue but for somewhere to go if you want a relaxing holiday to relax and enjoy the mountain views.
Thank you to Carlos and Jose and teams for making it the most memorable family holiday ever.
On the unique and beautiful terrace surrounded by the nature of the Serra de Tramuntana, delicious menus with local produce are offered every evening. The great wines and professional service complete the dining experience. Another highlight is the fantastically located pool with beautiful loungers. Also outstanding is breakfast with typical Majorcan specialties. We will be back.
Every single member of staff that we encountered was exceptionally friendly and the attention to detail was extremely impressive.
The owner was on site periodically throughout our stay but you would never know! It is very clear that he takes great pride in fulfilling the guest experience, which rubs off on his staff.
If you want a few quiet days away or a fantastic venue for a function, this hotel will meet your needs.
My Wife suffers from a gluten intolerance, which was not an issue as they catered for her needs. The food is superb!
Thanks to everyone at the Hotel for making our stay very special!!!!
Our room was a delight, a large suite with a terrace overlooking the pool and it even had a small garden around the side where we spent most of our days just chilling under the trees reading. The room had a good sized living area a very comfortable bed, great aircon and a huge bathroom with a really big tub and a massive rain shower. Very high ceilings and lovely traditional furniture.
We ate lunch and dinner in the Tramontana restaurant as we couldn’t bring ourselves to leave and we were so glad we did. The food and service were both wonderful.
This is now in my top three hotels in the world and we have stayed in hundreds of great places. It is a true haven of quiet beauty and tranquility. We are really looking forward to many return visits.
If you like a holiday where it is peaceful, you can hear birds singing, enjoy lovely scenery and can stay in a fantastic finca with fabulous staff then this is the place for you.
Cristina and Cati at reception were super helpful and friendly.
Carlos Head Waiter was so professional but enjoyed a laugh and humoured me when I tried to ask him questions in Spanish! The other waiting staff - Juana Natalia and Luca were all fab.
The food was excellent, and the portions are very generous. There were so many nice touches with fresh flowers from the garden at each table and plenty of places to sit outside.
We walked into the village of Alaro (approx 5k). We didn't hire a car but I would recommend this if you wanted to explore neighbouring villages as there isn't a bus service.
The hotel was so homely, traditional and charecteristic. Next time we will book a room with a balcony or terrace and can't wait to return
"It is very easily accessible from Palma airport, but I would definitely hire a car to appreciate the local area."Read full review
