My family and I spent almost a week in July, and immedaiately fell in love with the place and its owners. It's actually close to everything, although it's may be considered a bit 'off' the beaten track and an excellent starting point to discover the island if you have a car. Petit Hotel Alaro for me is characterised by exquisite...

A group of us stayed at Petit Hotel to attend a wedding nearby. I can honestly say that it is home from home. The owners are wonderful and nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and spacious, and the lounge area is lovely. There is a good sized swimming pool in the neatly kept garden. Car...

Beautiful hotel in the middle of Alaro. Stylishly furnished rooms and nice pool and garden area. Perfect situation for walking in the surrounding mountains. Great hosts who went the extra mile - when our taxi didn't turn up at 5.30 am to take us to the airport Mauro took us himself! Can't recommend enough.

It is a boutique hotel but not pretentious. Very accommodating. Bed and breakfast. Extremely comfortable. Excellent value. Lovely patio and pool area to relax after cycling many varied routes from mountain climbs to rolling countryside. Hotel parking. Angela and Mauro are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble. A very short walk takes you into the village square where...

A great place in an excellent location for inland Majorca holidays - for walking (close to paths into the Serra Tramuntana), cycling (good quality commuter-type bikes available for guests) or touring (carpark in the hotel grounds). Friendly and very helpful hosts, liberal access to kitchen for drinks and for your own cooking if you choose.

I used the hotel as a base for trail running in the mountains with Run Mallorca. I can only echo the comments made by others. This is a beautiful boutique hotel. From the road it is very unassuming and appears to be a simple house. When you step through the door you step into another world. The rooms are large,...

This hotel opens directly onto the street in the heart of Alaro. The owners are not there most of the time (Angela is there in the mornings to prepare breakfast) so you need to let them know when you are arriving - we didn't but Angela came very quickly when we arrived and phoned her. The house is quite large...

This place is a little gem. It is wonderfully kept, very tidy and clean and the owners are very friendly. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and the kitchen is available to use whenever you want. A lovely pool in the back garden tops it off nicely. I can't recommend the hotel enough and will return as we have family in...

I stayed 5 nights at this family run hotel in the small village of Alaro (approx. 20 minutes by taxi from the Palma airport). The hotel is owned and run by a charming German-Argentinian couple and caters mostly to British and German tourists. It has only I believe 6 or 7 bedrooms so it never feels crowded. The hotel is...
