We stayed at this hotel during the end of May/early June for 10 days and I haven’t stopped raving about this hotel to all my friends. The food was amazing we booked HB as we wanted to get out and about during the day. There is so much choice for breakfast and dinner. Dianna at the omelette station was absolutely fantastic. There was always a cue for her omelettes but she worked incredibly hard working and always had a smile on her face. Dinner was always amazing most nights they had paella, pastas and 3 different types of pizza, on top of this there would be a themed night such as Mexican night and Asian night and there was also always two different type of fish being cooked on the hot plate and two different types of meat. Mohammed was very helpful to my partner who is halal explaining which meats he could eat. There were always numerous salads, cheeses and desserts and fruits available. Food gets replenished regularly there was only one occasion I had to ask for the fruit to be topped up and it was done immediately. There is inside and outside dinning areas to choose from. My only criticism would be that the food is not labelled according to allergies therefore if you did have any intolerances or allergies you would have to constantly check with staff.
The front desk staff were amazing all of them were always cheerful (especially Rafa) and couldn’t do enough for us. A special mention has to go to Batman and Robin AKA Juan Carlos and Carlos Gustavo who seemed to work constantly and who helped us with a number of queries and arrangements. All the staff are a real credit to this hotel. Bass the manager was very understanding about our room situation and we thank him for his kindness.
The pool area was lovely lots of sun beds of different sorts and there’s also a more quiet area under the trees. A special mention has to go to young Patrick who is wonderful with the guests. We did however spend most of our days at one of Ibiza's beautiful beaches. There is a lovely sandy beach 5 minutes to the right of the hotel and a larger beautiful sandy beach 10 minutes walk to the left. We bought a parasol from the shop near the hotel and used this when we went to these two beaches, when we went to Formentera and when we hired a car and drove around the island to visit the other beaches so we’ll worth the investment as most places charge £21 euros for 2 beds and a parasol.
There isn’t much to do at night time compared to some other areas in Ibiza but that was perfect for us. We enjoyed the live music/musicians provided in the restaurant and pool side and the evening entertainment.
This hotel deserves all the positive reviews it gets and long may it continue.

We have just come back from the Iberostar. We probably had the most relaxing holiday we've had anywhere!
Good points:-
Staff - you will not find more welcoming, friendly, helpful staff. Every single person we came across could not have been more helpful. They are all a credit to the hotel.
Cleanliness - again, you would struggle to find a cleaner hotel. It smells clean as you first walk in to reception and it follows throughout the whole hotel. Again, your housekeeping staff are a credit to your hotel.
Rooms - maybe a little on the small side but we hardly spent any time in there. Beds are really comfortable and for someone who is a bad sleeper, i probably had my best sleeps i've had for some time. Bathrooms are very generous size with a good shower.
Spa - i had the most amazing massage with Manu - would highly recommend if you get a chance to do this.
Rooftop terrace - good choice of spirits, a beer on draught, fizz, teas/coffees that you can just help yourself to. The views from here are truly amazing and its a lovely, quiet, chilled area to spend a few hours.
Water machine on every floor - this is such a great concept and we used it a lot.
Points for improvement maybe:-
Food was really very good, good choice etc. My only observation is that, as someone who doesnt eat meat, the labelling was a bit hit and miss (or non existent) so i sometimes didn't know if something had meat in or not. So perhaps more labelling, especially if something is vegetarian as it wasn't always clear.
Star Prestige - we did on a couple of occasions struggle for beds on the rooftop terrace. I think people thought as they'd paid for it, they could just reserve a bed for the day and then it was theirs, whether they were there or not. It was mainly on the days when we'd been out in the morning and just fancied a couple of hours in the afternoon on the roof. There was one day when there were several beds with noone on for at least three hours. I'm not sure what the actual rules on this are but i wonder if there are not enough beds for the amount of paid star prestige guest. I would say this is one of the main perks of SP and if you can't get a bed its very frustrating.
Taxis are a bit of an issue - we had to wait 45 mins for a taxi and were late for our dinner booking. This obviously is not the hotels fault but does need to be taken into account if you have a reservation somewhere.
Location is lovely and quiet, but whilst it is listed as Santa Eulalia, it is about 50 min walk along the coast into the main part and as others have said, there is nothing closeby to do (although there is a Nikki Beach pretty much nect door). That said, it is a lovely hotel, and if you are looking for somewhere quiet its perfect.

Hotel in a quiet location, right on the sea. Depending on which room type and care you book, you will have a beautiful view of the surroundings. We had booked a 'poolside' view room and it was perfect. View of the sea, the (heated!) swimming pool and the trees with sunlight on our terrace from the afternoon to the evening. Welcome drink at reception was a nice touch and staff were all friendly. Twice a day we received a free cocktail from the hotel at the pool, which was a nice and tasty surprise every time. The buffet for both breakfast and dinner is very extensive with several live cooking stations. Everything was fresh, replenished quickly and hot enough. So if you go for half board, I certainly wouldn't hesitate! The room itself was modern, neat and included a carafe of water that you could easily refill yourself for free at the vending machine in the hallway. The bathroom was large enough with a spacious walk-in shower. The hotel is within walking distance of the Punta Arabi hippie market (which unfortunately was not yet open at the beginning of May), but a bit too far from Santa Eularia town to walk. Renting a car is recommended to get everywhere quickly. The hotel is definitely recommended and we would definitely like to come back!

I would have given 3.5 stars, but it’s not available, so I starred up.
I booked this hotel because of the beach front position and was disappointed to see that the beach is a public one and there was no sun loungers or umbrellas of the hotel; there were but at extra cost. I think that the description on the hotel website is a bit misleading, nowhere it is mentioned there’s no hotel facilities there.
The hotel is very nice and my stay was comfortable but there are some things that could be improved. My room was one benefiting from a private/communal terrace with a jacuzzi tub and hammocks, but the layout of the room is a little bizarre with the wardrobe inside the bathroom; I had read it in a review and remembered it when I was unable to find it!
I like the corporate efforts to be less wasteful by eliminating single plastic use like toiletries and water. There’s a bottle that can be refilled as much as one wants from the water fountains. However, decorative plastic plants should go: surely there are succulents and cacti that are a good, low maintenance alternative.
Food was abundant and qualitative with a buffet inspired by a different country of the world each night.
Every single member of staff I interacted with was friendly and polite.

Chose to upgrade to Privilege - here's the pluses and minuses of it - the room is probably one off the smallest for the money I've ever had. Decorated in a sparse and inexpensive style - thoroughly unimpressive. Balcony was equally small and you didn't feel like sitting out on it. However, the side of the building we were on give beautiful views of the sea and pool below. Note that you pay extra within the Privilege package for the full sea view. Rooms on the other side of the Privilege floor looked out on a road and other buildings and what is about to become a huge building site covering nine private villas with pools, underground parking etc. They had only just finished digging the footings so this will be a long ongoing build. However the justification for Privilege is that you get a side sea view!!!
The rooftop pool is lovely, though you can't swim in it - it's more like a dipping pool. Nice loungers, nice staff, beautiful views and a great breeze. They provide a full help yourself bar between 10 and 6 in a kitchen area, and snack food between 10 and 12 and 3 and 5. Note it's only snack food, though.
Main food in the hotel was very good I must say - plenty of choice at all sittings and good quality fish/meat etc. Things such as king prawns, smoked salmon plentiful. Lovely salads, cheeses, deserts. Table service for wine/water - strangely no fresh orange juice at breakfast unless you specifically ask and then it's like a big secret between you and the waitress! Clearly don't want people to enjoy one of the inexpensive benefits of being in Spain!
Pleasant and polite staff throughout the whole hotel.
Outside bar/lounge for the evening was pleasant, entertainment was largely OK. Went out twice in the week - once to the much hyped Hippy Market - don't go unless you want a dream catcher, wind chimes or other hippy related stuff! Got a taxi into Santa Eulalia town - pleasant - tourist shopping and some bars/restaurants. Got the local ferry back.
I would hesitate to recommend this hotel based on the size and quality of the room for what we paid, however the main concern for anyone thinking to book in the near future should be the huge building project about to start, the noise of which will undoubtedly affect all residents in the Iberostar and the view of anyone on that side of the building.

Wow wow wow ! Recently returned from a 7 nights stay at the Iberostar a hotel that puts the "S" in service and the "H" in Hospitality. From the 1st welcome to the last day. If you want restful recuperation in a tranquil peaceful setting then this is the place for you. Highly recommend paying for Star prestige as access to the roof top pool is idyllic, where there is food and drinks a plenty to help yourselves too and the daily cocktail/ice cream to enjoy. Everything you could want in the rooms massive comfy beds with a spectacular sea view and cleanliness above and beyond with the fridge re-stacked daily with soft drinks. Choices of food for all including themed culinary evening meals. The sittings are staggered so no queues the service is exemplary. The Hippy market on a Weds is a must and can be walked to along the coast line in about 20 mins. Smokers be warned supermarkets are not allowed to sell cigarettes so take plenty with you as there are smoking areas within the hotel including on your balcony for that 1st morning cig with your coffee taking in the scenery. The staff genuinely care that you have a good time. Rafael greeted us on arrival and was also there when we left must admit I did get emotional as I felt we had become "family". This hotel and setting gets into your heart. Too many special people to mention as well as Rafael, Abraham, Doaa, Ange, Miriam, Fredo, Carman (one crazy lady) and Katty. Stay in for the Elton John and Bruno Mars entertainment nights as these acts are highly professional. Cannot wait to return to room 517 for a longer stay next time.

We stayed for five nights in May and I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and we were welcomed with complimentary Cava on arrival. We had booked a pool view room and were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade. Our room, located above the Chill Bar, offered stunning views across the bay. The hotel’s design and styling are impeccable, featuring many exclusive areas if that appeals to you. The pool area was lovely, with complimentary beach towels that matched the decor. Free cocktails were served during the day, and there was nightly entertainment from 9-10pm at the Chill Bar.
Breakfast was varied and plentiful, with coffee delivered to the table, avoiding the need to queue with other guests. Our room was spacious and clean, and when a drawer in our bathroom broke, the chambermaid noticed and had it repaired without us needing to report it. I was particularly impressed with the hotel’s commitment to sustainability and the environment. Each floor had filtered water stations, which we used daily, and the hotel supported National Recycling Day by inviting guests to help pick up rubbish from the neighboring beach.
The stunning location just outside Santa Eulalia suited us perfectly as we had hired a car. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely check out other Iberostar hotels.

Really spectacular…10+ attention is so attentive to every detail, clean and well-kept hotel, great quality food!!! I have been to several 5 star hotels that did not have the buffet like the one at Iberostar; Fredy and Carmen are in everything so that nothing is missing in the dining room apart from the other friends who I don't know their names. In the pool there is a good atmosphere with Balinese beds that spend all their time vacuuming and cleaning…. Few people pay attention to those details…Alejandra was lovely and helped us the first day to know how to move…. The guy who did the water activities was great, super fun; Abraham at the reception advised us on an excursion to Espalmador which was amazing apart from helping us rent a motorcycle. They play music to set the mood, cellist at breakfast, saxophone in the middle of the afternoon, etc… The clean and well-kept rooms have a clothesline to hang your wet clothes and a small terrace. The hotel is very quiet and it should be noted that children are not allowed and that gives peace 🫢
They serve you a complimentary cocktail while you are in the pool, which I have not seen in any hotel. When you check out you can reserve a shower and be in the pool area until your flight leaves and enjoy the rest of the day.
To improve, I think that the issue of hammock reservations is that the tourists take control of everything... And in my opinion, perhaps the water in the buffet should be free since it is very hot in Ibiza.
Thanks to the entire Iberostar team, you are extraordinary. I am looking forward to having been able to see the pool above… I hope to return to Ibiza.

A lovely setup. Nice pool, sun loungers/beds. Quiet location but not far from the town.
You can catch a ferry to Santa Eulària it only takes 10 mins, or it's a nice walk if you need to walk off some food and drink!
The room was small but nice, we paid a bit extra to have a sea view.
The staff are really good but there just wasn't enough of them which made service very slow at times.
The food was not as good as it could be because the hot buffet food was only luke warm, I'm sure it was not being held above 65 degrees which was concerning from a food hygiene perspective. This problem would be solved if the hot food was prepared in smaller batches so it could be turned over quicker.
There was cooled filtered water dispensers on each floor and a glass jug in the room so it was easy to get water, which I liked.
The big BUT for me tho was NO COFFEE making facilities in the room and for this reason alone I personally wouldn't return. In addition the coffee served at breakfast was abominable, however if you ask for "machine coffee" they are happy to make you an americano.
There was a lovely atmosphere throughout the hotel and poolside though and the staff were mostly fantastic.
I just had the feeling that there are a few too many cost cutting measures such as not enough staff, no coffee in room, the pool towel exchange only being open in the morning and afternoon for 2 hours.
Despite these niggles we did have a lovely week here, and really enjoyed our holiday.

This hotel is all about the staff from the manager Juan and assistant manager Jonathan all the way through the ranks they all work so hard and are so attentive it’s hard not to have a good time. Booked through jet2 holiday was expensive for what I call a normal room with a sea view definitely not a junior suite. the catalogue view of rooms are ambitious at best not what we expected at all. There was a mini bar that was topped up every day the turn down staff are there every day and leave very nice chocolates. The rooms are well cleaned every day very prompt if you put the door tag on.We booked all inclusive star prestige so some extra benefits in hindsight you could book full board star prestige and get all the same benefits apart from drinks in the bars in the evenings all drinks included on roof terrace up to about 19.30. The food is very good with themed food nights at dinner, you do not struggle to find something good to eat. Omelette made to your specifications are a particular favourite for breakfast. Plenty of fresh fruits and pastries also on offer.the restaurant staff are very attentive and clear the tables with rapid efficiency Sebas runs the restaurant most days along with Jonathan the assistant manager and their staff young Juan, Catarina Emilia and our favourite Noela what a star. The roof terrace is the perfect place to top up your tan roof staff are really on the ball Jonathan Noela and turbo charged Maria it’s a wonder her feet don’t set on fire she dashes about so much.we didn’t partake of the evening entertainment as by that time we were shattered but we were told I’d was quite good. My wife had a birthday while we we here and they spoiled her rotten cake fizz they sang happy birthday in Spanish and English this was down to Jonathan and Noela and made her day so special. There is a great ferry you can catch in the next bay cara pada and go into Santa Eulalia then to Ibiza town Cala llonga, worth the trip not to expensive from Cala pada to old Ibiza town 28 euros return or cala pada to Santa Eulalia 18 euros return but it’s a nice ride. There is a hippy market just up the coast a nice 30 min walk on Wednesdays it’s not bad .

Hello no the 6 drink max isn’t at this hotel it’s at main city hotels like in Palma.
All inclusive is all inclusive all day
However if star prestige you have drinks all day whatever your board basis BUT you would have to pay for drinks with lunch / evening meal and on the evening in the bar if not all inclusive. The hotel is amazing but there isn’t much locally . It’s a taxi ride into the centre. In the day there’s a lovely coastal walk into the centre or if that’s not for you a water taxi is also available in the day
There are more places to choose from in the Santa Eulalia del Río area.
