We chose to stay at this hotel for our first holiday away with an 8 month old and I’m glad we did. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has everything you could ask for. They provided a travel cot, change mat and baby bath for in the room and had lots of high chairs available in the dining room. The pool areas were great with lots of parasols and shaded areas. We headed for the grassed area most days so our little one could sit on the grass and it be a bit softer than the concrete if she was to topple. The beach is a few minute walk from the resort and whilst it is perfectly fine it wasn’t the cleanest as it’s a public beach but other local beaches are really close and not expensive to get to by taxi where the sand was nicer and the sea cleared and calmer. We didn’t experience much of the evening entertainment but what we did I would say it’s aimed at the German guests as 99% of it was in German. The only negative I can find about this hotel is that the food was a bit repetitive so got boring and there wasn’t a great deal for an 8 month old to eat so we went to the local towns a few nights to eat out. Overall we had a lovely stay and the hotel has lots to offer.

We first visited Magic Life 2 years ago and had such a good time we deciders to return this year with more family who flew over from Ireland. We had the best time and actually enjoyed it more than the first time. The food is great with lots of choice and the cocktails are fantastic. The only tiny criticism is the lack of places to go when it rains, we had 2 days of rain and as all the bars/ entertainment is outdoors we spent the time on the balcony playing cards as there is nowhere to go. We had the best holiday and cannot wait to visit again.

We went to Magic life again, after our amazing holiday there last year. Requested the same room, which we got, plus a bottle of wine and plate of fruit for returning. Lovely touch! My sister and her family came with us this year too, and we all had a fabulous time! The food was just as delicious as last year, and the resort was spotless. All the children (10, 4, 2, 13 months) had a great time, the only thing is... on our return all developed a rash... which our GP said was likely a bacterial skin infection ‘possibly’ from the swimming pool water. This didn’t affect our holiday though and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. We will be returning again in the future! ❤️

We've just had two weeks in June 2019 at this hotel and it was the best family holiday we've had so far. We were all inclusive and the food selection was great, lots of fresh choices every day. The drinks were also good too, Amstel on free pour and good wines and Mojitoes. We had our four year old son and 18 month old daughter and they both had great time, either at the pools each day or at the night entertainment (i'm not a fan of musicals, but managed to sit through this because the entertainment team were spot on and work hard). All of the staff were friendly and helpful with anything we asked for, car hire, transfers etc. There was nothing to complain about at all. We had such a relaxing holiday together and everything was taken care of. The facilities are great and kept spotless at all times, I would highly recommend this place to anyone with young kids, it's set in a pine forest with white washed apartments and a beautiful beach at one end. If I had to pick one thing which could improve it, it would be the suggestion of gates around the Wunderbar area as this would prevent kids from going astray when you are watching a show there on an evening. Our kids love running around and some gates at the top of stairs would have made these evenings a lot more relaxing! Saying that, we had a fantastic two weeks and would definitely go back.

My Family and I have just returned from magic life Cala pada. 1st impressions were excellent the grounds are beautiful, 2 bedroom apartment was excellent and extremely clean. We got a great positioned room opposite the tennis courts and the food was absolutely fantastic. However there were a few things that really let the hotel down. 1, The restaurant/bar staff were not the friendliest and on several occasions quite abrupt as if you were a ‘hassle’ to them. On the 1st night a waiter snapped at us as we didn’t wait to be seated but we were unaware this was the protocol. It was very embarrassing. 2. Although I have absolutely no bug bear with German people. This hotel is absolutely fully geared towards this nationality. My children wouldn’t attend kids club due to the language barrier and it was 90% German kids. The mini disco at night. I counted at least 10 songs of which only 1 was in English (baby shark). There were a good amount of British here but sadly I feel they were not catered for well. The brochure markets this as multi national but sadly I don’t feel this way. 3. The general entertainment was not great. With us normally heading to play uno on the terrace quite early. Although the silent disco was fabulous!!! This hotel has massive potential if they got the balance correct. The day time activity programme is very extensive and the pool areas brilliant. I so want to rate this 5* but it’s not quite there yet. Magic life is a fairly new concept to the British market I’m hoping in the next few years they will get the balance between nationalities and the staff behaviours correct. Particular mention to the fabulous waiter in the beach restaurant (bright yellow glasses) he was fabulous just a pitty the rest of the staff didn’t follow his example:-(.
