This has been a famous destination to visit for centuries, and should definitely be on your list! Rooms are clean, staff is great and the food is to die for! Use your time here in the spa-department or hiking... More

Good location, nice lobby, excellent view of the Fjord. We chose a Fjord view room but sent a separate request for the best view room because we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Even though we received a not so friendly email respond but we were given the top floor room with nicest view at check-in. Nice pool and Jacuzzi. Breakfast... More

The rooms were excellent with good beds and comfortable warms duvets and pillows. The breakfast was plentiful with a varied selection, quality was medium. Nice with free parking just outside the hotel and the people in the reception very helpful.

View from the hotel was spectacular with 2 big waterfalls, 1 five minutes up the road and the other 5 minutes down. Food/the big buffet was excellent too. We took a tour of the Troll road while at the hotel and Also a cruise on the fjord which was very scenic.

The hotel is located within walking distance from the dock and the commerce, cafes and restaurant. Everywhere around the hotel there was buses full of tourists. The road next to the hotel was heavily used by cars, trucks and vans. Noisy... What was surprising was that the SPA was located in such a way that the view was over the... More

The hotel enjoys having that extra level of standard, which comes with a higher than comparable price, and more again if you want a fjord view, but you can enjoy the view from the very comfortable and huge bar & lounge setting. I indulged in their buffet dinner, and as reviewed elsewhere, it was very good, albeit the waiters were... More

The Union has a majestic presence at the tip of Geirangerfjord. It is in all the travel photos, deservedly so. The public rooms - lobby, dining room, pool - on the front overlooking the fjord are comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our room, alas, was on the back, with "a lovely view of the mountains." And the parking lot. The room,... More

This hotel is right dab in the middle of Geiranger and has amazing views in almost all directions. My wife used the Spa and was awestruck at its facilities and staff. An amazing time in an amazing place. You can walk across the street to a nice stoll along a waterfall "boardwalk" and down into the city, while a short... More

After a long drive or if you chose to take the one hour ferry ride to this hotel it is worth the effort. Although it is a moderate size facility it has a personal feeling. Room 533 with view of the fjord was amazing. Evening buffet option in price .Delicious.
