we were staying for 2 nights in hotel Geiranger, we booked fjord view rooms, which had amazing few. location is really good. breakfast was really good, but the dinning room was to crowded and many times things were finished and were not refilled. there is a free coffee and tea during the day. rooms were ok, although one of the rooms didnt have such a good smell from the toilet (we booked 3 rooms). service was really good. great place to stay.

This one and Union Hotel seem to be the only two in town and this one is right in the centre of town. The dinner was excellent but the breakfast was rather poor as no pastries or buns. The girl at the reception was rather helpful however

We stayed here for 1 night. It is very nice stay. Rooms are nice with beautiful view. Staff is very cooperative. For the breakfast vegetarian tourist don’t have much choice but able to get some stuff and satisfied with it.

The reason to stay in this hotel is for the view and location. Hotel is located just at the end of the fjord in the middle of the tiny little village. Fjord view rooms in the lower building of the hotel have amazing views. Corner room on tip floor was great. The hotel is a bit dated, and overpriced, but I wanted the experience of staying in a room with an excellent fjord view during the long summer days while in Norway. This hotel delivered that. The private balcony was a nice place to sit while enjoying the view and people watching below. Room was a good size with a sitting area inside, as well as the sitting area on the balcony. As I mentioned rooms are dated, but comfortable and clean enough. The hotel is located just a couple minute walk from everything in this tiny little village. I ate at the restaurant downstairs from the hotel and the food was good, while also having a nice view from the patio. Breakfast at the hotel is large and has many options to choose from, which is pretty typical from my experience in Norway. Note for handicap or elderly - the hotel has 2 buildings, the main building that you check in at and where breakfast is provided and then the lower building which I stayed. The lower building was a bit of walking to get to the reception area and breakfast room, but it was very easy access to the village. There is a bit of a hill that separates the two buildings, but there is an elevator that connects them via a long hallway. Parking was easy to find for me, but there is a bit of a walk up a hill between parking and the hotel.

We booked a fjord view room which was absolutely amazing! We slept with the blinds open to enjoy the view as much as possible. Breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is right at the port, very conveniently located. There’s a buffet dinner option at the restaurant where the breakfast is served.
