Stayed two days in the 'off the beaten' track hotel outside Ostuni. About 7 kms to the local 'white city'. The hotel was in lovely walled grounds about half a km from the road. Breakfast was traditional Italian with very few English speakers or tourists. Comfortable rooms but the smallest shower cubicle I've seen, 'do not drop the soap!'.

What a lovely clean and friendly 16th century converted farmhouse. Staff so helpful and friendly. Peaceful and a great spot to recharge and get away from the masses. Beautiful grounds. 1 Kilometer from the sea and 6 kilometers from the nearest town Ostuni.

Imagine opening a beautifully wrapped big Christmas present and discovering a pair of socks in there but also then also discovering that the socks have been worn before! That is this hotel. The setting is beautiful and has all of the potential to be a remarkable place but sadly it is not. Starting on a positive, the olive groves are...

Dear Mr. Kerwich, We regret very much that you have not enjoyed the stay at our masseria. Anyway, we would like to clarify that on the website of Booking.com the apartment is well described and there are the relative photos, that perfectly show how is the apartment furnished and beds placing. Lovely masseria, we were clearly there before the tourism season starts, few guests, swimming pool and restaurantnot yet open which we had not realized beforehand, but besides that lovely. Staff very friendly, great breakfast, lovely terrain. Room small but fine. You need a car, lots of lovely things to see in surrounding area.

Besides the buildings themselves outside, I felt like I was in a nondescript hotel that could have been anywhere in the world. A bit more rustic charm or something like that would have been nice. We paid 60-something euro for a double room, which was a bit high in my opinion. Everything was very clean, but didnt really speak of...

I wasn't sure quite what to expect when I first booked this place (a cross between a hotel, farmhouse and outdoor haven. As soon as you drive down the driveway laced with wild flowers you get a sense of something special. The garden(s) and pool are very clean and you may often find the odd cricket or cat in the...

This masseria is the best place to be if you want to combine sun, see, relax and nice places to visit at night for dinner. We have been visiting puglia for many years now and have stayed in many Masseria's and hotels, but I must say that this Masseria is the best. We love staying here, the personnel is very...

This year was our ninth annual return visit to Masseria Tutosa. As always we stayed in one of their larger rooms which is furnished in traditional style. The minute you walk in through the arched wooden gates of this masseria surrounded by olive groves, there is a wonderful feeling of seclusion, peace and calm. The gardens and pool area are...

A lovely peaceful place to stay. The room was spacious and comfortable with efficient air conditioning although we had no private outdoor area. The room did have character and retained some features of the Masseria. All the staff were very welcoming and helpful - especially the receptionist who spoke good English (as our Italian is almost non-existent this was a...
