Anthippi hotel is a gorgeous guesthouse in Parikia, Paros with exceptional beauty! Every little detail in that place is a work of art by the talented and sweet Anthippi, the owner. We stayed for a week in September 2019 and couldn't get enough of the view, the magnificent colours and smells from the garden, and Anthippi's amazing vibe and hospitality. If you are visiting Paros, this place is highly recommended for a quality and quiet stay in Parikia! Conveniently near to many restaurants (our personal favourite is Apollon Garden in Parikia), cafes and many beautiful beaches!! Enjoy!!
The house is very special, we were there 5 days. Every day found something new design element. The garden is very green and colorful because of the lots of plant and flowers. From the top, the pool, cafe-bar side the view is beautiful around Parikia. The accomodation is very close to the center. It has a big parking place if you rent a vehicle. You feel the nature so close, see the stars next to rooftop, hear the cicadas. The staff is very kind, your feeling is very familiar. Anthippi is so friendly, helpful and a great cooker. We got every morning good and good breakfast, she can make a tasty hamburger for lunch, and good coffe, shakes and smoothie afternoon. The rooms are comfortable, moody. Includes air condition. We felt very good here, want to come back. Strongly recommend the special hotel!…
Second island on a trip down from Mykonos to Crete, loved this place, unique chalets dotted around the property. Quiet and relaxing (apart from the cicadas you can’t hear anything). Anthippi couldn’t have been more helpful spending time pointing out places of interest on a map, she was around the whole time of our visit if we needed anything, the lady who helped at the hotel always had a smile and greeting for us. I’d obviously read reviews before arriving, none of (4) of us were bitten by mossies, although we did spray and had brought plug in Mosquito repellent (which was also in the room).Didn’t see any ants or cockroaches, however the cicadas couldn’t half beat out some noise, I have read that between 4pm-5pm they all stop as one, which did happen, unfortunately it’s only for a few seconds, then they all start again😂. The hotel whilst set back is only 5 mins stroll to the start of the bars/ restaurants and beach, and about 10 mins to the old town. We enjoyed Mykonos, Paros is as good and far better value. Hotel Anthippi is unique, it also has a brilliant pool, and I would rather stop there than a commercial ‘starred’ hotel. Should we ever come back to parikia, then I would not hesitate to stop here again. We all loved it.…
I loved this guesthouse. Great architectural inovations in mixing old and new. Blending the past with the present in the most unique way. The owner is very friendly kind and she makes amazing burgers. It is a clean and luxury accomodation that differs from the typical cycladic hotels.
Would not recommend this place. Had a room booked from 6 months ago and when got there the owner said sorry they had double booked and we had to go somewhere else. She said we could stay on the couch if we didn’t want to go. Thought she was very rude. When I phoned her to query about my pick up time the next day as I had moved hotels she said she was too busy and hung up on me. Would not stay there if u paid me too
