The staff were so lovely, helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful.... set up in the hills above Parikia, with a stunning view across the bay. It's very charming and full of character, set in beautiful gardens, and a terrace with amazing views. The rooms are basic but very clean and comfortable. We had a huge (!) terrace overlooking Parikia. Unfortunately it was SO (!) windy while we were there, we didn't get to use it. Also there was only a small table & 2 chairs on it, which seemed a waste for the space (sun loungers up there would have been lovely as it was totally private & not overlooked, unlike most of the balconies). My only slight complaint would be that there were no mattress or pillow protectors on the bed. And the sheets were too small for the bed. But it was very comfortable! There is some road noise at the hotel, with a busy road running either side of it. The walk down into Parikia is hazardous as there is no (!) lighting and no pavements..... and the (busy) traffic is crazy. I definitely would not have felt safe had I been travelling alone. However, it is only a 10minute walk to the centre of town and the beach. BUT.... I would definitely recommend this hotel. The breakfast was lovely and very well 'stocked'. The staff couldn't have been more helpful. It really is a secluded hidden gem. I really do hope that we have an opportunity to return. …
The strong points of Panorama are: 1) The large green garden, which makes the facilities also silent and cool. Our room was on the top floor near the reception building - 2) The staff, friendly and always smiling. They will give you advices and provide you with transfer. - 3) The breakfast, various and with good quality, both salted and sweet. You will enjoy it on a panoramic terrace. 4) The price is low for the average of Paros. The weak points are 1) Even if it is only 1 km far from the center of Parikia, you wouldn't want to cover that distance on foot at night. The streets in this part of the city are a bit dangerous, with large part without a sidewalk. This is not depending on the hotel, of course. It is a charachteristic of some greek islands. 2) One thing the Hotel Panorama could improve is the quality of the pillows and mattress.…
We really liked this hotel. It was clean, friendly and in a good location. When we were booking it we thought it may be a bit of distance from the centre but actually it is within 5 mins walk of the beach, seafront and restaurants. It is about 10-15 mins walk to the port and centre. The hotel provided a free transfer to/from the port compared to €35 in Mykonos and Santorini. The pool is small but still good to relax in. Breakfast was included and good. We hired a car from the car hire place opposite the hotel for a day drive around the island. Definitely recommend Paros itself is much cheaper and quieter than some of the other islands at least partly because it does not have swarms of cruise ship visitors. A definite plus!
We stayed six nights, and it was pretty much as expected. The hotel is a bit dated and a little tired, but that is reflected in the price. The staff are very friendly, the town is a ten minute walk away, bus stop close by to most places. Breakfast was plentiful but uninspiring, though the view is beautiful. Main drawback is the lumpy mattresses on the beds, didn't get the best sleep during our stay despite the hotel being very quiet. Overall a budget hotel with a lot going for it, but a bit of investment wouldn't go amiss.
If the hotel is a bit far from the center (10/15mn by walk) its a very good place to stay, the staff is very kind, the swimming pool clean and the restaurant is great. Bus are next to the hotel to go to Naoussa or to the port. + a car pick you up at the port for free
The view from this hotel is brilliant, over the port of Paros. The pool is small but perfect for the amount of guests that stay around it and the gardens are beautiful. While the rooms are functional and clean they could do with some updating. Breakfast was ok but nothing special.
We stayed 12 days in August and it was a wonderful experience. Very cozy place, comfortable, clean, flawless, with all the comforts you need (amazing food, delicious cocktails and a nice swimming pool). It's perfect for a family but also for a couple. Professional, welcoming and loving staff (George, Maria, Luciano, Kostantina, Andrea and all the room service girls): we remember you every day! We'll come back soon! Thanks a lot for all. High recommended!
This hotel says that it is a 10 minute walk from the main port. I guess, if you walk very quickly.... The fact is, it is closer to a 15 or 20 minute walk, and since I have a leg injury, was very painful to do twice a day. Since there are no restaurants near the hotel, plan to walk to the port for lunch and dinner! That said, the hotel was nice enough. They have lovely sea view rooms, but unfortunately I did not get one of those. My room faced the street, so it was loud all night (motorbikes) and the balcony had no atmosphere and was not pleasant. The wi-fi was also pretty slow and unreliable, but I learned that this is true everywhere in Paros. On the positive - the breakfast is nice, the pool is lovely, the view is good, and the owners are friendly. If you don't mind walking and want to be out of the center, it would be a good place to stay.…
We went back for our 3rd year in June for 10 days still a lovely hotel staff very helpful breakfast very nice plenty of choice, George the manager a lovely man can not do enough for us. Went into town every night to eat 10 minute walk down to port some lovely food all the staff in the restaurants very friendly and not expensive. Rooms very clean, gardens and pool lovely. Excellent and friendly staff..small but beautiful environment, and even if it seems far away from everything on the map its just a short stroll down to the beach with restaurant. Would definitely recommend this to friends!
