Pros: The hotel is quite charming and in a really great location for walking about Parikia and catching the buses to other villages around the island or the ferries at the port. The woman on staff during my stay was lovely and gave me great recs for dining around the village and helped with anything we needed. Cons: I'm not sure if this person was the owner or another staff member, but the man I encountered at the reception desk was so incredibly rude. Rude, dismissive, argumentative, accusatory. He really ruined not only my stay at this otherwise lovely hotel, but really my entire trip to Paros with his attitude. There are many beautiful hotels throughout Paros, I would recommend trying another one where spending you're money doesn't get you terrible treatment.
Actually it`s my second accommodation at the Argonauta Hotel and I have to especially mention about that nothing changed since 2018. The breakfast is amazing! The quality of the food and friendly approach of waitresses are perfect! Owner of the hotel Tassos and her mother are very kind persons that I have been never met at where I live. The hotel is located very center of Parikia and everywhere are very close by foot. Most of the rooms have balconies and the style of rooms are unique! I strongly recommend the lovely Argonauta Hotel to you!
We arrived on Paros by ferry in the evening and easily found Argonauta hotel just a few blocks from the port. We were staying in the Kastro Suite which was a couple of blocks away from the hotel. We checked in and the woman at reception took us to the suite. It was a little smaller than I anticipated but was totally adequate for us...when you're in Paros you're not spending much time in your room. It was clean and comfortable and there was enough room to store your belongings. There was a kitchen area outside the room that you share with the other suite in the building. We weren't cooking but it was nice to have a fridge to store some refreshments. We walked to the hotel every morning for breakfast where you can either eat inside or outside. Service was fantastic and the food was very good. I'm so glad we stayed here because it was so easy to get around. Parikia is beautiful...I could just roam around the beautiful streets all day. Shopping and restaurants were right in the area and if you want to take a trip to Naousa or grab the ferry to Antiparos, the bus station is close by (there's also a taxi stand with plenty of taxis lined up if you'd rather do that). The waterfront is just around the corner with plenty of restaurants that have seating right at the water where you can enjoy the sunset. A great stay on a fantastic island!!1…
..in the middle of paros port. evrything is near by...port, cafe, restaurant and beach. best place to stay while waiting on the boat to the amazing islands around. or as the base for trips on paros!!!
I was on a solo trip and stayed at Argonauta hotel. The hotel is perfectly located close to the bus terminal and close to the market street with little boutiques and restaurants in walking distance. The owner and the staff at the hotel were so nice and helpful. I had such a pleasant stay at Argonauta hotel. Breakfast was wonderful!
