First time in Paros with my family, we were fortunate to live for 10 days in one of Irene’s villas, on a hill looking over the sea, Antiparos and the nice Agia Irini bay where we could walk to the lovely beach. The villas are beautiful, in the typic white cycladic architecture, with comfortable rooms, 2 bathrooms, a very useful little kitchen, living room and 2 terasses. Very clean, change of everything every 3 days. Incredible 20 m pool! But most of all, our lovely hosts, Irini and Giorgios, made us feel at home, in the company of our best friends! We had fresh bread daily, nice cakes and papoutsaki, all the needed information about the surroundings, and even a nice evening pool party together with the other guests, including a greek dance lesson! I didn’t want to go back home! Thank you, Irini!

We stayed in villa number 2 for a week and we had a lovely time. The Villa is comfortable and big enough for the five of us. The views of the sunset from the balcony are astonishing, it is worth it sitting down every evening to watch it. The beds are comfortable, the balcony is big and it's lovely to have breakfast or dinner there, the swimming pool is beautiful. Irene is a lovely host. She was welcoming, made sure we had everything we needed, brought us fresh bread every morning and even some figs one evening!
The Villa is conveniently located close to parikia, the airport, the ferry to antiparos. Irene gave us some great tips regarding restaurants, beaches and places to visit. We had a great stay in Paros. We totally recommend it!

Greek nature and greek hospitality at their best! The villas are spacious, functional and decorated with great care and taste, up to the last detail. The balcony offers a place of absolute relaxation with its comfortable furniture and an endless sea view. The pool is beautiful and comfortable but I would highly recommend visiting the numerous beaches of Paros, some of them really close to the villas. Of course, you can always go back to the pool and watch the breathtaking sunset. Last but not least, hosts Irene and George are always there for you and always with a big smile on their face. Highly recommended!!!

Spent a week with my family at Irene’s place this summer. The place is ideally located with everything one can ask for. Sunset, cosy villas, large swimming pool, easy access to the beach (walking distance) and to Naoussa or Antiparos. This is not to mention Irene’s attention and kindness. She and her husband make you feel at home as soon as you get there. Always here for good tips or even to book your car rental. I wish I could keep this place secret but for the lucky ones who will stay there, your time in Paros will be unforgettable.

We had an absolutely fabulous time here during our stay in Paros. This apartment was amazing. It was just two of us but would have been great with a group. The view was amazing and the peace and quiet superb. It was a bit chilly for us to use the private pool but it was still lovely to have. Our host made us feel so at home, like family. Met us when we got there, showed us around, and even helped us order dinner! She went over and above! Definitely recommend staying here!

Irene's View, this little paradise, exceeds all expectations. I have been spending my holidays for many years at Irene's and George's, who have become meanwhile dear friends. They touchingly take care of their guests outside the season as well. I very much enjoy getting to know their everyday life. My contact with their relatives in Paros and my voluntary work in the kitchen give me the opportunity to ameliorate my Greek skills as well as my cookery. This is also a way to easily obtain insider tips about the island.
The breathtaking view of the site (the sunset is at least as beautiful as the one in Santorini), the clean, neat accommodation and the owners, who care so much about the well-being of their guests, let no wishes unsatisfied.
Irene's View is the address for relaxed holidays in Paros.

Second time we have been to Irene’s and our emotions were still intact as if we had never left the place since 2014. We spent a week there as a family at this magnificent location that although it is quiet, private and beautiful it is actually in the middle of action of Parikia.

The villa was just beautiful. Full of light and spacious, and the bathrooms are very well appointed (there were 2). There was a sense luxury everywhere without being too vocal. The gardens well large and attractive, and the pool was clean and very refreshing.

The most inviting part though was our balcony with a tremendous view of the limitless Aegean. A fantastic place to watch the sun go down and view the starry night skies. I remember waking up at 5.30 in the morning just to sit outside and enjoy it. It is these moments that carry along for a lifetime.

Irene, the owner, was – again - a sweetheart. Besides being a truly caring person (she would bring us warm, freshly baked bread every morning!) she was also a wonderful hostess. We had numerous friendly chats and she offered many tips on local things we should do (most notably two fantastic places to eat and a church worth visiting). On top though, were the fresh chicken egg picking from the coop and a Greek food extravaganza she put together on Friday night for all the guests and some local friends of hers.

There is nothing that will stop us from going back again. If nothing else, it is this true sense of completion that one gets from life through such pleasurable moments. The kind you want to keep for yourself and don’t want to tell the world about :-)

Our family spent 5 weeks in Greece this year, and our trip to Paros was the highlight of the trip. This was made possible by the amazing hospitality we received from George & Irene. Our trip was off to a rocky start. Our ferry was cancelled due to the high winds, so we had to get another one. That one ended up being over two hours late, and by the time we arrived on Paros the car rental agency had given away our car. We had to wait for them to find us another one, so by the time we were ready to head to the villa it was pitch black dark and we were worried about finding our way, as this was our first trip to Paros. Luckily, George had previously emailed me photos of the area and the entrance, and the car rental company gave us a detailed map showing where the turn off would be. Of course, we still passed it, but finally found our way. Once we got our bearings, we found the roads on Paros easier to navigate than several others we've come upon in Greece, and the road to the villa was no exception. Yes, it was dirt, but there were no huge drop offs that can damage your rental car and at times it was actually two lanes wide, a rarity when you get off the beaten path in Greece!

We had had a long day, didn't know our way around yet, and everyone was hungry - much to our surprise and delight they had stocked the refrigerator. It had yogurt, cheese, water, milk, cream, granola, coffee, bread, jam, you name it, it was in there. We had never had that happen before, and will remember that always. And Irene brought around fresh bread every single morning, leaving it on the door - we would wake up every morning to that beautiful view and have coffee and bread with nutella or jam. I miss it! One day she brought around the most amazing fish dish so we made pasta that night and had a truly lovely dinner. A couple of days later she invited us over to the big room overlooking the sea, where we met other guests and had a fantastic meal provided to us by her family. It was one of the best meals I'd ever had. We ate all over the island and never had a bad meal. If you have kids, there's a great pizza place on the ring road called Pizzalicious, and they are open late. We brought it back and ate on the terrace.

The view was unbelievable. The sunset was better than many we'd seen in Santorini and elsewhere. The pool is HUGE. Cold, but you get used to it. We were frequently the only ones there, so there was never a wait for a sunbed.

You are also very close to the ferry that goes to Antiparos, which was not to be missed. And Lefkes was stunning. We could run ourselves ragged during the day knowing full well we were going back to a beautiful, relaxing villa. The villa itself was so pretty, very clean, and perfectly sized for all 5 of us with two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a twin bed in the alcove under the stairs.

We went to both of the beaches you can see from the front porch, and preferred the one furthest away. There are tavernas at each, and they are both fantastic. There were around 20 people at each when we were there, a very nice change after coming from Mykonos. It seemed to be mostly locals.

A little side note to how well they take care of you - the high winds followed us from Mykonos. I did some laundry and hung it up to dry overnight, and came out in the morning to find that they'd attached everything to the clothes rack with clothespins. Not just mine, but the guests next door too. A very much appreciated touch.

We have already reserved our spot for next summer. We fell in love with Paros, thanks in part to how much we enjoyed our stay here. They treated us like family. Paros is beautiful, and we can't wait to return. Hopefully, every year going forward! George and Irene, thank you so much for giving our family such a beautiful memory!

The week my family spent at Irene's view is indistinguishable from our overall experience vacationing in the Greek Islands. Given that the family consensus, unanimous from age 5 through 45, is that Paros was the best family vacation ever, and the best we could even imagine, that is more than just faint praise. Would we go back? We are still wondering why we left at all, a feeling that started the minute we boarded the ferry back to Athens.

Locals call our malady the "Paros-ite", which is a nagging feeling that your life would be better in direct proportion to the time you spend on Paros. The Paros-ite has led many to abandon life elsewhere and go all-in on Paros, including George and Irene, the wonderful hosts and owners of Irene's View. They are warm, friendly, accomodating to a fault, and make you feel, in the best possible way, like you are guests not only in their villas, but in their home. Fear not, introverts, this is a very comfortable and wonderful feeling. Irene's daughter also works at the villas, and is also disarming, charming, warm, friendly and funny.

The setting is lovely, atop a promontory hill with sunset views over the channel to Antiparos. Our villa had two bedrooms (both with A/C) on the ground floor, and a living area/kitchen/dining area upstairs. Entry is via a covered porch, and there is an eating balcony overlooking the pool/aegean. There is a TV, which was never turned on (a remarkable feat with our kids), ample if not generous closet space, one and a half baths (right next to each other downstairs) and a little storage space with a futon that could be perfect for kids to sleep or play in. The decor fits the island and is traditional in that regard. It is not high design, but if that is what you are looking for you should probably be heading to Mykonos and leave Paros to those who know better.

George and Irene stock your fridge upon arrival with quality cut fruits, yogurt, butter, cheese, cold cuts, fresh jam and water - easily three days worth for a family of four. Every day, amazing fresh bread appears in a little cloth sack on your door. Later in the week they also shared a plate of homemade fish minnows in oil, which, like everything else you eat in the islands, was mindblowingly good.

The pool is lovely with a great view, and is wildly underused. George and Irene are careful to suggest that kids consider swimming outside of siesta hours, or do so quietly, which was much appreciated by those of us who enjoyed a bit of Souma at lunch. Adjacent to the pool is a bar area, an outdoor grilling area, and a screened rec room with tables and diningware for the borrowing. Larger groups use this area to cook and eat together, which is a wonderful option.

Irene's View lacks a restaurant, bar and room service, but I certainly didn't miss any of those amenities. The first night we walked down the rocky path to Agia Irina Tavernna for a (very) late dinner. The path was passable if rugged with a headlamp at night, even for my 5 year old. Although we could walk to that beach, we ended up driving to a different beach every day, depending on the wind, weather, and whim of our native friends. I don't believe being close to a beach is necessary on Paros, or even desireable, as long as you rent one of the little tin can cars.

I noticed Monaco license plates on a few of the other cars in the villas, and that tells you all you need to know about how awesome this place is. If you are leaving lovely, discreet, swishy Monaco for a vacation, of course you would stay in the stunning, low-key, warm and welcoming Irene's View.

A few notes:

Make certain that you get directions before you arrive, because the entrance is discreet and foreboding, and even the more traditional resort a block away doesn't know it exists. George and Irene reach out via email prior to your arrival, so don't ignore their communication!

The villas are about a mile down a dusty, rutted dirt road, and the rental cars can struggle getting around. There are, in fact, only a few paved roads on the island and this is NOT unusual or cause for concern. We were guests at apartments on the island which had similar approaches.

Like most things on the islands, payment is cash only. Be prepared with your stack of euros!

There is a tennis court on property, which seems lightly used. There is a tennis club on the road to the Villas with more modern, lit courts.

My rating is unquestionably 5 stars. My little family has been lucky, having stayed at world class properties in major cities all over the world. But if you ask any of us which we preferred, the St Regis NYC, the Peninsula Chicago, Rittenhouse in Philadelphia, or Irene's view, we will all say the best stay we ever had was at Irene's. It may not have a butler, or chandelier, or marble bathrooms, but a stay there makes you hate to leave, and long to return, to a degree that far exceeds its "luxury" cohorts.
