Hotel Paros is set less than 10 min walk from the ferry port in Parikia. It's right on the main seashore street, right on the beach (only a street to cross). It's a family owned hotel and Ms. Ioanna is a very sweet and hard working person trying and succeeding to run it with heart and satisfaction of her guests. Rooms are very basic, but with everything you need for a vacation. We got the room above the entrance with fab views of the bay and port. Breakfast is not included in the room rate, but it's very reasonably priced and delicious - home made at time of ordering, not beforehand.
This is my go-to hotel in Paros! Family-owned! Jenny is as helpful as she can be to give advice for sight-seeing or best beaches to visit! Walking distance from the ferry and across from a calm free beach to take quick dips! Waking distance from organized beach with umbrellas. Plenty of restaurants close-by with high ratings, and yet close enough to town to shop, eat, or catch smaller boats/buses to other beaches. Cozy quaint hotel with simple but steady offerings: daily room cleaning, towels, a/c, fridge in room… ocean view balcony or budget courtyard view, single or double beds, owners on premises most of the time. Breakfast/early lunch available at on-premises Beach Cafe includes smoothies and scrambled eggs. Shop right next door supplies all beach gear, gifts, bags, hats etc. supermarkets close by.…
Amazing breakfast excellent service and very clean rooms. Very polite staff and always happy to give advice of where to go and what to see in the island. The cherry on top of the cake the view from the rooms.!
We didn't stay at the hotel, we stayed close by but on walking past the cafe out the front one morning saw how amazing the pancakes looked so decided to go here the next (and our last) morning on Paros. They tasted as good as they looked. Wish we had found it earlier.
Please note; I don't ever recall giving a poor review. Between ordering and delivery we waited for over 50 minutes. It was only that quick because we nagged them twice during that time. Once it arrived the food was ok- the eggs were a little under done, but the hash browns are good. But the unapologetic wait was unforgivable.
My friends and I went for breakfast twice out of a three day trip in Paros. Just 5 minute walk from the port, all 5 of us loved our breakfast both days and thought the staff were very hospitable and attentive. It was family orientated which added a comfortable and warm feel to the place..the food was so nice we missed our ferry!! Thank you
our trip so far has been wonderful. And our stay at Hotel Paros was great too. Our nice host, ( very busy guy ) walked us through the things to do list we had compiled. Our room had adequate, hot water, comfortable beds and a quiet a/c. And the breakfast was the very best meal of the day. Well it did keep us until late afternoon. The yogurt and fruit is delicious in my opinion. And we did find their Happy hour rates very reasonable. My personal favourite was the vodka slushie...
I enjoyed this little hotel on Paros. The staff was welcoming, and the room very clean. I especially enjoyed the breakfast, which they served until around midday. The town of Parikia is a short and enjoyable walk along the promenade. There are many taverns to choose from close by. Tassos was very helpful with information about this beautiful island.
Zero Greek authenticity and warmth as owners are US or Canadian. Owner is delusional and cannot accept other people’s point of views. Examples as follows. He was complaining to people who checked in late (before us) that they didn’t tell him when they were arriving. He was virtually lecturing them! Way to treat your guests!! Budget room 14 has a wifi black spot and therefore no wifi available. Problem with sewage as room smells bad. Told the owner about lack of wifi and requested room change. He stated wifi is available in reception and I could use here as this is common practice for hotels. He was serious! I laughed at him and completely disagreed based on the hundreds of hotels I have stayed at before which all have wifi in rooms. He then tried to tell me it could be our phones that have the issue. Again I had to laugh as I work in IT and pretty sure iPhones function to connect to wifi! He reluctantly agreed to move me to an “upgraded” room but wanted to charge me the extra cost! When I checked out I refused as I never asked for an upgrade. I simply wanted a replacement room that had wifi working. Not my fault the wifi didn’t work nor what rooms are available. Note the budget and standard room are almost identical with standard have small balcony looking at another hotels entrance. He also charged us for water when we left. Who the hell does this? Most hotels provide free water and even top up daily. With regards to free hotel parking there is none! Avoid at all costs!…
Excellent value for a solo, Senior traveler. Especially enjoyed the warm hospitality of Santa and Constantinos. They were very genuine hosts. I felt comfortable and safe from the moment they picked me up from the port until the time they dropped me off five days later. The location was ideal for getting around to all parts of the town. Probably the best value for my dollar for my whole one-month trip of touring Athens and the Greek Islands.
