It was our second time that we stayed at Stagones Luxury Villas, this time in July. Our only concern was we should stay more than 4 days. The Honeymoon villa was fantastic, with a amazing view of the pool area and the magnificent gardens and we really enjoy the pool bar and the BBQ. George, the villas Manager and Stellios the barman were amazing hosts, helping us feel welcome, arranging local transportation, and making restaurant recommendations. You will need to hire a car while staying here so you can explore the island and visit all the magnificent beaches. We are definitely will be back!!!!!
The villa is very comfortable and right on the seafront, . The staff and manager were very attentive and took a real interest in the guests and the success of the hotel. ++The quality of the beds is excellent ++The big swimming pool ++ The quiet environment ++ The restaurant nearby ps. need a car if you want to explore the region
The title of "luxury villas" is grossly overstated. They might have been, when they were originally built, but even then there are too many shortfalls to believe that even then, they would have been considered luxury. The local manager did his very best to try to convince us that everything was in order and went out of his way to make our stay as happy as possible. Unfortunately the two units we experienced are both in desperate need of an update and an upgrade, if they are to pass as luxury. The list is too long to go into everything, but cracked cups and plates, IKEA cuttlery, extremely limited kitchen equipment (you basically have to eat out, not that we didn't most of the time, but there wasn't really and alternative). Unusably dirty kettle, rust and limescale. Noisy…
Having arrived from Santorini, the spaciousness of the accommodation and pool area were very welcome. George and Stellios were amazing hosts, helping us feel welcome, arranging local transportation and making restaurant recommendations. Stagones is ideal for both families and couples, although the occasional noisy child may disturb the tranquility for some. As Stagones is some way out of Naoussa, we feel the use of a car is a must. In August, demand for car hire on Paros seems to exceed availability, so early booking is advisable.
My friends and I rented the Grand Estate Family Villa for just a night and everything went smoothly and wonderfully. George was attentive and extremely helpful, even ordering pizza and gyros for us when we got hungry. Apart from there being the occasional mosquito problem (it is Greece in the summer, after all - bring repellent!!) in the rooms, everything was perfect. Modern villas with a lovely pool. Thank you George, you are fantastic and we will definitely come back!!
