Our first ever rail holiday - and beforehand must say I wasn't really looking forward to it at all. How wrong could I have been. Really enjoyed every single minute. Rail travel, hotel, food, excursions, diamond group and Keith the tour guide were all amazing. Hotel staff extremely friendly, polite and helpful - hotel itself is spotless - admittedly some... We spent four nights at the Pinger hotel. The staff were polite and friendly and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The meals were good but not to my taste. The bedroom was basic. There was no tea/coffee making facilities. No ventilation other than the window and no drawers for clothes. We were at the front of the hotel overlooking the station.... More

We stayed for one week in this very comfortable & clean Hotel on full board. All meals were excellent good quality food always piping hot. We could make our lunch time sandwich with a good choice of bread & rolls with your choice of fillings to go with our packed lunch. We thought it was a very good idea. The... More

We felt to be at "home from home" from day one. All the family and their staff were most helpful and friendly. The food was all home cooked and delicious. It was great to have the wide choice from the buffet; tasty soups, 3 mains with lots of vegetables, a salad bar, and various sweets. Perfect. Enjoyed each and every... More
