We stayed for one night with our 17 year old son. Booked online and we were very happy with the hotel. Room with a view over the river. Nice breakfast and great location. Great value. I would recommend this if you want good value and a nice typical German style hotel with charm.

Stayed here with the family on a half-board package deal between Christmas & New Year. We all had rooms in the annexe. Room was of reasonable size, could have done with a few more lights. Good mattress on the bed, terrible pillow. We had a minuscule bathroom: open door and you're up against handbasin, 1 step to left = shower...

We went with Newmarket tours for a Christmas break to this hotel in Germany. We have NEVER been to a hotel in 35 years of visiting Europe, where both main front and back doors have been locked without providing residents with a key! The rear 'night door' was on first floor, out to an illuminated flight of steps leading to...

Bad: We booked online into the Hotel Fuhrmann staying in their guesthouse room. When we arrived we were told to go up the road to another hotel (Hotel Ellenzer Goldbäumchen) once there we were given a room in a separate building behind their hotel, they call their Annex. As we had booked through the first hotel we thought we would...

Enjoyed our stay. Arrived at 2100h, exactly when the kitchen closes, that was a minor deficiency, but managed to eat next door w/o problem. Triple room was big, great view of the Mosel, comfortable beds, clean bathroom. Plenty of free public parking along the road in front of the hotel. Very well situated for an 8-minute walk to the ferry...

We went with Newmarket tours for the Christmas Markets, the room was awful cold the sockets were on wires hanging down the wall with a bank of four swinging on it, the wardrobe was small and could only open 1 door as the television covered the other door, we were trapped upstairs as the stairs were bocked off every night,...

Just back from our stay booked through Newmarket. This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in! We pre-booked the evening meal which was awful, we asked on our last night if we could not have the set meal again and just asked for pizza & chips ( the bar had served this and it looked edible) we were...

Staying as part of a Rhine in Flames tour (2 coaches arrived same evening). Boy did this hotel take care of the guests and tried to accommodate and sort out teething problems. i had already researched and upgraded our room to a Moselle view so we had no problems...worth every penny (Room 9). Enrico was a great front of house/reception...

We stayed here for a long weekend as part of the Rhine in Flames weekend trip with Newmarket holidays. It served its purpose but is very old-fashioned and needs aircon in the rooms. The staff were friendly and spoke good English. The breakfasts were nice but they kept running out of food - the waiters and waitresses were constantly replenishing...

The hotel is located on the river with parking facilities just outside. Although we had booked rooms with garden view we were upgraded to river view on the third floor. Very nice and picturesque. The staff was friendly and helpful whenever needed. A short walk from the hotel was a ferry that took us to Beilstein on the other bank....
