Everything was enjoyable about this hotel except for the internet. It is truly pathetic and unless they get it fixed they should not advertise as having internet access in the rooms. The staff was wonderful, the room was comfortable but I couldn't get any work done in my room and had to spend all my hotel time working in the lobby or restaurant. VERY annoying.

Was in Witten to see my wife family as we live in NZ. We were booked into The Ardey Hotel for 3 nights. From the moment we arrived, we were treated very well by the staff, who are extremely friendly. We had 2 young kids with us, for whom the staff couldn't do enough, to make our stay easy and enjoyable. A particular thanks to one of the staff who made a birthday dessert for my son, who turned 7 while in Witten- he was incredibly happy, and especially as it was at 10pm. The rooms were well set out, very very clean and had phenomenally comfortable beds. It was only a 10 minute walk into the town centre, which has a good number of cafes, bars and restaurants. If I'm ever in Witten again, I will definitely stay at Ardey Hotel. Highly recommended.

Whilst visiting Witten to see family. We stayed at the Ardey Hotel as per recommendations. It did not disappoint. At check in the Reception was super friendly and ensured that if they can help in any way, they would. They went the extra mile wherever they could and very accommodating for children. Our kids haven't slept ad well since we have arrived in Europe until this stay. Breakfast service was tasty. Big selection and staff helpful with all needs. They let us have a late dinner after our day at Phantasialand (A MUST SEE) and made my sons birthday special with a dessert platter to say happy Birthday. Being able to take beers back up to the room was also a bonus as the kids needed bed and us a night cap ;) It was central and an easy 5minute walk into Witten Innenstadt. Nochmals vielen Dank Team Ardey und bis nächstes mal. Highly recommended - you‘ll be happy you stayed here.

Rooms are clean and modern and offer good value. The staff there went far above the norm when we made a special request. Vanessa at the hotel was especially helpful and we will be always grateful for her assistance.

In Witten you won't find better hotel. The rooms are OK with modern style, it has private parking, the breakfast isn't so good but it's descend, sometimes if there is so many people you will not find what you like, it seems they don't refeel it? The personal is very polite and friendly. Overall for stopping in Witten is the best choice

I stayed a single night here recently. The room was clean and functional with all the usual amenities. Breakfast was reasonable. Lunch for a party of 10 or so was actually very good with a small but rather special menu. All in all, just what you need from a hotel for a business stay.

A perfectly pleasant hotel at a very reasonable price. Free parking and clean functional bedrooms. Dinner was good breakfast a little disappointing. Did not seem to be much happening around Witten so cannot comment on the surroundings..
