The hotel is in a picturesque location on the lake promenade. Our room was very large and felt very homely thanks to a bookshelf that could be separated and other beautiful furnishings. We couldn't complain about the cleanliness at all and even the bathroom, which is very important to us, was sparkling. As a small tip: the drain has to be pushed down so that the water runs off the sink.
The breakfast was very good, there was homemade spread on the buffet and we will remember the extremely courteous staff for good.
All in all, a highly recommended hotel that, despite the current staff shortage in its industry, is trying very hard to make the most of its location and is doing a good job of doing so.

We were at the weekend for the first time for brunch and are thrilled. Our invited guests and we are overwhelmed by the diverse selection and quality. The homemade waffles with cherries were a poem.
Our waiter Lucas was very polite and attentive. The whole team deserves big praise. Keep it up!

The annual meal with our friends at New Year's was once again a complete success. The menu, which included several main courses (ox cheeks, duck legs, game goulash), was, as always, very tasty and filling. And all at a fair price. Plus friendly and quick service, what more could you want! The top location does the rest. This restaurant is a flagship and advertisement for the entire city.

We went for dinner because it was one of the higher rated restaurants of the area. The gentleman who served us was super friendly and helpful. He was welcoming and accommodating, answering any questions we had and helping us make choices with food and drinks. We found out at the end of the meal that he is also the owner. The food was good, the vegetarian option not the best but was okay. We would consider going back to stay at this hotel as well if we decide to go back again. The service was super friendly and made us want to come back again.

When we arrived we loved the place, loved the location. The gentleman who greated us was so nice.
Then we decided to have dinner there, played it safe and ordered carpaccio and schnitzel.
Carpaccio was ok but not great, then the schnitzel was very disappointing. Not at all what you should expect in Germany. This is where they lost the 5-star.
The room was nice with a seaview. But it is very eaay to hear all other guests. Room is warm and the linnen is sub par.
Very good breakfast.
Then they lost even the grading 3-star when the breakfast lady asked for additional.5 Euro after filling out thermos for our long drive ahead. I asked for a reciept but it was not possible. I am sure she just put the money in her pocket. So bad behavior after we paid for room, drinks and dinner they decided to loose two stars in rating over 5 Euro.

we are regularly visiting Neuruppin, a great place in the vicinity of Berlin. Hotel and restaurant Altes Kasino are our first places of choice whenever possible. The rooms are well equipped and clean, the W-Lan working very well. The service personel is truly kind and helpful. The service, beverages and food in the restaurant leave hardly any room for improvement. We'll come back next year!

We regularly come to visit family in Neuruppin and this time we stayed at the Altes Kasino for a short visit. We had eaten in the restaurant (which is also excellent) but never stayed before. We had the apartment - a great room with a nice bedroom, lots of storage, a kitchen, dining area and living room with a great view of the lake. Lovely room, nice bed, washer and dryer (!) and easy to walk to the lake, downtown or just around. Lovely and highly recommended.

Our 2 night stay at Altes Kasino was very relaxing. The staff is very friendly and tried to help us with our special dietary needs (gluten free bread in breakfast!). The rooms were very cozy, clean and had amazing views of the lake. The hotel is very centrally located for wandering around the lake. Breakfast was very good, with lots of options.
