Valerie and Jack and their kids are very pleased to welcome you to the ¨Mas de Foncaudette¨, located in the Luberon region near ¨ Lourmarin¨,one of the most beautiful village in Provence. Dating back to the XVI century, this stone built ¨Mas¨ or country farmhouse nested in an exceptional 3 hectares park and vineyards has retained all its charm of the traditional Luberon farms. People say that this house has a soul... So, why not discover it by yourselves !

My husband and I stayed at the Mas de Foncaudette for one night en route to Nice. We arrived at a beautiful B&B surrounded by a quiet and lovely scenery of Provence. We were greeted by Jack, who is so friendly and helpful. He showed us the room, which was great. We had dinner in the lovely village of Lourmarin and visited a vineyard for wine tasting. Everything was really close and easy to get to. It was so quiet and peaceful. The breakfast was the highlight. Jack provided homemade fig jam with lovely bread, cheese, etc. We ate under the fig tree. Yum! Unfortunately, my husband left his apple watch at the B&B and Jack sent it o us via mail! What a service!! Overall, we had a great time and we'd recommend staying here.

Great B and B, but feels something like a hotel, near Lourmain. Beautiful pool and seating area (which is communal, but no problem as all the people who we met were absolutely charming). The host speaks good English and was able to give us plenty of advice. There is a very useful fridge and basic kitchen which meant some days we had a salad at the mas. It also had an upright piano which meant I could practice quietly which was great entertainment (at least for me). Lourmarinitself has super cafes/restaurants and easy to get to in about 7 mins. Room was clean and comfortable. All the rooms are reflective of a different Provencal writer. We had the room La Violette which was ground floor and had its own private seating area which was great. The breakfasts are served in a courtyard under the shade of an established fig tree. So pretty much heaven.

We stayed at Mas de Foncaudette for 4 days while touring the Luberon area of Provence. The place is amazingly beautiful; the grounds as well as our room, and it's located just outside the pretty village of Lourmarin. Aline was very helpful with advice and tips about the villages in the area. Would highly recommend a stay here.

A lovely farmhouse bed and breakfast in a garden setting and a short drive to the gorgeous town of Lourmarin with its many restaurants, castle, boutiques and a great market on Fridays covering the whole town. We were made very comfortable and there was plenty of room for guests to make themselves at home in the dining, lounge and outdoor areas. Our room was a but further to walk to and could have more of a paved path (being slightly elderly and moving luggage). The room was spacious and comfortable (luggage racks would have been handy) but the bathroom very small and difficult to move around in. Our breakfasts were lovely with the gorgeous Provencal dinnerware and it was so pleasant in the courtyard by the fig tree with fresh breads and pastries, and loved the cherries too. It would have been nice for the wi fi to work in our rooms and that these days is becoming a factor to consider when booking accommodation. Even though there was not a fridge in the room, there was a large one available in the dining room to use. Overall a very lovely introduction to Provence for us and can recommend for the hospitality, warmth and charm.

My wife, daughter and I stayed at Le Mas Foncaudette for three nights and enjoyed our visit to Provence due to the location and comfort of this B&B. Ailene was the perfect hostess, engaging when asked for help and not intrusive. If you prefer a stay with the host "hovering" over you, this is not for you. A room for three people is hard to find but our room was spacious with our daughters bed in a small alcove. The shower was perfect and easy to get in and out of although the step up and then the step down is pretty high. The other guests were all German and it seems that Mas Foncaudette works with a German company that arranges driving tours. We enjoyed talking with them at breakfast which was the typical French breakfast of cheese, breads, yogert, coffee and delicious jams. It was rainy weather so we only had one breakfast in the beautiful courtyard. Our only complaint would be the WiFi which cannot be picked up in the rooms due to the thick walls of the B&B and also that it is shut down at night which makes calling back (using facetime and free internet calls) to the US impossible after our daughter children were back fro school due to the 7 hours time difference. Mas Foncaudette is conveniently located outside of town but many villages are close by for dinner.
