We picked this B and B for its ease to get there, closeness to town center, private parking. All things important when traveling in small towns in Luberon. We loved Lourmarin. The price was also a draw. The villa is old large house a 5 minute walk to very center of town. It is a little dated, the breakfast very...

After having spent 2 1/2 weeks exploring Provence, we agreed Lourmarin was our favorite village, and the icing on the cake was spending 4 glorious nights at Villa St. Louis! The splendid house is oozing with history and charm, accentuated by the delightful hostess, Bernadette. Our room was very spacious, as was the bathroom. Every piece of furniture, art, and...

Travelled with my friends and was welcomed by Bernadette , the very charming owner. Loved the house with the beautiful garden and lovely antiques everywhere . The only letdown was the comfort of the bed and the breakfast ( food shop few minutes walk away if you want more than bread and jam). Overall we had a great stay .

Stepping into the Villa Saint-Louis is magical, and gives you a chance to experience another place and time! The home is charming, with interesting pieces and décor wherever you look. The garden is so charming, as is the owner, Bernadette. The balcony is a wonderful place to start the day with a cup of coffee. It is in a perfect...

One of the most interesting accomodation experiences of our Provence trip. Fantastic old period house literally overflowing with antiques and 'junk'. Bathrooms a bit small and lacking facilities but who cares - this is typical of France. Great breakfast and terrific community spirit with the other guests. Bernadette is a lively host who belies her age and readily provides advice...

I randomly ended up staying here but it was a real relief from a lond day trip. Friend ly and just a one minute walk away from Albert Camus's home. There were few hotels in Lourmarin and this was a perfect choice.

What a wonderful place. Everything is charming, the garden is a dream, the house filled with treasure and Bernadette the host will provide you with the best tips of the region and do whatever is possible to make your stay delightful. We came 15 years ago for the first time and go back there as much as we can. We...

We loved our stay with Bernadette we visited in Sept 2014 and it soon became the highlight of our European holiday. For us ,the simple breakfast, Bernadette's charm and grace, the friendships formed with Bernadette's Canadian friends staying with her at the time and the quaint village of Lourmarin all created the magic of our stay. Even the fact that...

This beautiful little hotel is simply sublime. The decor, the ambience, the location and most of all, beautiful Bernadette were out of this world. If ever there was a natural hostess it's Bernadette- her warmth and hospitality is quite simply unparalleled. See here, a link to an outing she took me on to show me the village and it's surrounds....

We spent 3 nights at Villa Saint Louis in late April, and were greeted warmly by Mme. Lassalette on our arrival. Unfortunately, that was the last we ever saw of her. She made no appearance at breakfast, nor was she there when we returned from the day's touring, or when we left or returned from dinner. She was not in...
