We have just came back from a weekend in Cucuron in the Luberon. Fantastic little hotel l'arbre de Mai in the heart of the village which I can't rate highly enough. We were well looked after by the guys, who went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We stayed with our two year old toddler with no...

There is no pretending at L'arbre de Mai ...you get a great welcome , no fake smile or over-promising bill of fare. The hotel is cute and romantic but also very clean, the food is good, home-made and served with a big smile , same story at breakfast. The owners are very artistic , give a good bohemian twist to...

We had the room with the balcony - excellent view. Perfect breakfast. One thing is - there is no parking, because you are in the middle of this ancient village. But therefore you do not have any noisy disturbances. Very nice service by Carl.Thank you!

We went here more than once during our two weeks in Cucuron, as the food is better than average, and some things are delicious (such as the roasted eggplant). This is a casual place, full of locals, and a sure thing as far as the food is concerned. The waiter is also friendly and fun to be around

We did stay two nights at l'Arbre de Mai . We were not too impressed by the establishment . It was only O.K . We thought Cucuron would be a good base for touring the region , and it was . It's a lovely village . We have enjoyed strolling the narrow , sometimes steep alleys , enjoyed the Tuesday...

Clean hotel, comfortable rooms (a/c worked too!), clean sheets, very friendly host, excellent breakfast, beautiful setting and location, what more could one ask for. We were very pleased with our experience at this hotel. Well situated within the village.

So to be very clear on our rating....we did not stay at the hotel Why? After driving to cucuron from Aix and walking our heavy cases up to the hotel....we were told that the 'wind had caused tiles to drop on the balcony....umm....the windows were smashed.....sorry...you cant stay'. The man at the reception claimed that our room with a balcony...

Cucuron is one of the reasons why we visit Provence-- a step back in time. The sleepy village is so relaxing. The hotel is clean and quaint. The food at the small hotel restaurant was wonderful and the wine divine. We had a triple room which was spacious and comfortable. Our only complaint really was that we booked a room...

This hotel is the best ever, such great value. It feels like being on a film set, with the classic elements you can expect from a quiet, rural village. The host, Tomàs, is incredible: so accommodating and helpful. The glass of wine we had after a long journey was possibly the best drink ever in my life: not because of...

Great hotel in a nice old building located in the center of the village. We stayed with a family of 4 in a large room with comfortable beds. The room was very quiet with the window overlooking a small alley. WIFI for the kids was best in the shared living room with TV and a nice collection of vinyl and...
