We have visited the bar at Hotel Du Centre many times over the last two years I read with interest the comments suggesting the service is not good- we have always found the service to be very good and friendly The Hotel bar is really well located and is one of our favourites in Burgundy The restaurant is good/ very... It was a return visit to hotel du Centre, it is in a great location typically French with excellent food and wine. The room was adequate the bed was clean and very comfortable. We were not disappointed

Popped in unannounced for a late lunch last Saturday. Was welcomed and well looked after by friendly restaurant staff. The €20 set lunch was delicious, accompanied of course by some great Meursault white.

Walked in for a late lunch on a sunny day and waited for a table in the walled (and outdoor) garden area. It was a classic - good menu but nothing quite grabbed us until we saw a party of eight having a creamy concoction with morels in. Right, let's have that. It came and it did indeed look terrific... If you're looking for welcoming restaurant with great food - I suggest you try elsewhere! We arrived on time for our 8pm dinner reservation. We were eventually seated after the staff saying we only booked for 2 people. We then waited for menu's and drinks to be offered but nothing came. After 40 minutes and tables around us having been... Upon arrival we had a discussion about the room rate. In the confirmation by our online hotel we reservation service were given a rate of 90€ for 2 adults and two children (6 and 9). This was actually the rate for a single occupancy. So, we were supposed to pay 90+3*5=105 Euro. However, after showing the confirmation to the receptionist... More

We stayed 2 nights in this French hotel very basic no air con but the room was situated in the shadow so we did not suffer too much of the heat luckily enough windows to keep the air slightly fresh the bed was a king bed which is something you need when it's very hot and we had a pleasant... More

The hotel is conveniently positioned in the centre of town as the name suggests! Parking is secure but 5 minutes away. The room we had was clean and quiet and represented reasonable value for money. We took the menu at 28 euro which was also reasonable and the food quality was good. But the wine!! No house wine. (Even the... More

We stayed here on the recommendation of some friends who had stayed here several times. All I can say is that things change. The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly but the room was a disappointment. Paper thin walls, electric toilet and dated decor. I know it's not the hotel's fault but folks who think it's ok to run... More

Having just driven 8 hours from London we were looking for somewhere to have dinner. As it was a Monday, our choice was limited to two restaurants. The four of us opted for the set menu. Three courses for €28. The meal was superb- good portion sizes, 2-3 dishes per course to choose from, and friendly waiters. We even had... More
