This hotel as everything you love: a soul, a style, a smile, and everything required for your comfort, both in the rooms and hotel lounges.
This is the place where you are happy even when it rains: you can sit in the comfy sofas, with a drink, your book and watch the open heard on your left. Just perfect.
Big up for the “covid” management of the hotel staff.
For those looking for a stay with a very nice and homely atmosphere, a very good breakfast, a spotless room and super friendly service from the owners and staff, we can only warmly recommend this hotel.
Location in a very nice residential area, a good 10 minutes walk to the beach, a good 15 minutes to the nearest cafe or restaurant. No shops or places to eat in between.
Cap Code Suite (most expensive room category for around €300/night) is in the basement. High steps inside the room. Furnishings OK, nothing special. No coffee table on which you could put a drink or snack. Small terrace with a view of a 1.50m high hedge.
No fruit, no chocolates, no flowers, not even the obligatory bottle of water to welcome you.
Very thin walls - you can hear every noise/word (including the toilet flushing) from the neighbors or the rooms above.
Pool nice and big and at a pleasant temperature, but the edges and floor are dirty. No pool towels, bathrobe is made of fleece and therefore unsuitable for drying off.
Dogs are welcome in the house. The bar, which is run on a trust basis and very nicely furnished (gin and tonic for mixing and pouring yourself, €16), was occupied by a couple of guests with two huge dogs during our stay. Another 3 (!) large dogs in the room next to our suite. You have to like that.
Breakfast in the main lounge (without dogs) was very good - very nice room. Beautifully set. Crockery, white tablecloth, cloth napkins - very classy and tasteful. Food selection was impeccable. Very attentive and friendly staff.
In summary: a nice place to stay with a few drawbacks - no more and no less.
The breakfast is an amazing buffet in a beautiful view and great quality.
The biulding is very characteristic from The Haan and it is perfectly located to go for a walk on the beach or to go for dinner in any of the super good restaurants that they recomend in the hotel's reception.
Honestly I cant say anything bad from this stay y really recomend this hotel for every type of stay (romantik, business, family....)
