The best thing about this hotel is how much they take care of every detail. The small things and personal touches are what make you feel super comfortable. The rooms are super clean and big, with every service you could expect to have in a hotel. The breakfast is an amazing buffet in a beautiful view and great quality. The biulding is very characteristic from The Haan and it is perfectly located to go for a walk on the beach or to go for dinner in any of the super good restaurants that they recomend in the hotel's reception. Honestly I cant say anything bad from this stay y really recomend this hotel for every type of stay (romantik, business, family....)

My partner and I have been to this mansion twice. We were always greeted with a smile and kindness from all the staff. The establishment is close to very good restaurants and the beach, or even nice walking paths in the town or the dunes. The rooms are nice, very well appointed and we had all we could need at our disposal. The breakfast banquet is sumptuous and you are sure to find something to enjoy. Finally, the manor's lounge allows you to relax at the end of the day with a drink, while reading a book by the fire. Quiet and relaxing. We very much enjoy our stays and will be sure to come back!

We spent my birthday at Carpe-Diem, with friends and our dogs. The latter were welcomed like kings, and so were we. The hospitality is exceptional, all the staff members & owners "naturally" friendly, rooms are spacious, beds are a dream! The in-house breakfast is an array of local produce, my mouth is wetting thinking of it! The Carpe-Diem is in a very nice residential area, the house is renovated in local style and comfort is in first-place. I have travelled the world except for 15 countries, I would rate Carpe-Diem within my 10 top favorites. The beach is a close walk of 3-5 minutes, dogs are welcomed everywhere. Brugge is a short drive away, just like the posh Knokke-le-Zoute

Quiet family run hotel, in a calm residential area. Short walk (10 min) to the beach promenade. Barbara was very efficient and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast buffet (Covid regulations) had to be served at the buffet, which could have been awkward, but staff handled it very well. Room was quiet, parking on street round the hotel appears to be very safe and adequate. Relatively pricey.

We had a lovely family week-end at Carpe Diem. This hotel as everything you love: a soul, a style, a smile, and everything required for your comfort, both in the rooms and hotel lounges. This is the place where you are happy even when it rains: you can sit in the comfy sofas, with a drink, your book and watch the open heard on your left. Just perfect. Big up for the “covid” management of the hotel staff.

We visited this hotel bar for a drink on Friday night, 18th September, and were told that it was in fact an “honesty bar” i.e. that guests helped themselves and left what they thought was the fair price of the drink. However when I told the lady who was the night manager that we were not in fact staying in the hotel, but we would like to have a gin & tonic and a beer, she said that we could not avail of the honesty bar and that she would serve us. She then charged us 19 Euros for the two drinks! This is not very “honest” to overcharge people who whilst they are not staying in the hotel, but they are guests in the hotel bar.

This charming Manoir is located in the most beautiful residential green area of De Haan. called "La Concession" and is 200 meters away from the sea. Service is efficient, friendly, never intrusive and always ready to help if needed. Children and dogs are welcome. Even in this time of COVID, the staff was always smiling and helpful. The breakfast buffet is gorgeous. There is no restaurant in the hotel but the staff will for sure give you all the indications about the different restaurants nearby. A special mention to the honesty bar contributing to make you feel at home. We went there for resting during 8 days. It was our first holiday for my wife and myself in 1 year; We are ready to go back to business as usual. We will certainly come back.

Lovely refined romantic hotel ideal for decoration lovers and peace amateurs. The rooms are gorgeous and so is the downstairs living room and bar area. Perfect service with warm and friendly welcome from the landlords and their team. The breakfast is varied and simply delicious. It is possible to have breakfast on the lovely terrace of the hotel when the weather allows it. The hotel is located very close to the seaside (5' walk) which gives the opportunity to admire the lovely villas of the nearby streets. It was our first time in Manoir Carpe Diem and in De Haan and we both loved them. This hotel clearly exceeds the best hotels of another famous Belgian coast city and we strongly recommend it to any couple and/or family! Kindness, style and perfection!

Booking 4 nights in the Carpe Diem to recover from the Christmas festivities and bring in the New Year in peace and quiet was an excellent idea. So much so we have said we should do the same every year! This was our 5th or 6th visit and we simply love staying in this wonderful hotel. It really feels so much like home and the owners and staff are all so kind and friendly. It was a real pleasure to get up and walk along the beach (especially for our dog) and know that we were coming back to a lovely breakfast and a few hours of leisurely reading in one of the two comfortable sitting rooms before going back out to the beach. 2020 has started off very well for us. We feel completely relaxed. It is sure that we will be back staying the Carpe Diem quite a few more times before 2021!

The hosts of this small lodge are very welcoming and helpful. The rooms were very nice, each having a comfortable seating area. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't the best for using the pool. There are several homey sitting areas where you can relax away from your room and they have a fully stocked bar available for use on the honor system. The breakfast was hearty and complete offering. The location is wonderful - quiet neighborhood and short walk into town. Very accomodating of our 14 month old co-traveler!
