We can not find words to describe the nice time we had there in spite of the awful weather and the covid situation which by the way the hotel takes very seriously offering the possibility to get tested on-site .. we had reserved superior room which was cleaned each day with the best care. The service in the whole hotel is impeccable from the reception to the restaurant and bar. The director is very involved and the whole team seems to enjoy their job and pride themselves of work well done. A general good mood that is palpable by the guests . the big positive surprise for us was the quality of the food at the restaurant especially the breakfast and dinner ..simply delicious and creative! If I had to make 1 negative comment I would say one of the ladies at the wellness spa does not see it correct to wear a mask as "she will never get sick from covid "... a bit of a no go when you are touching bodies of guests all day long and some may be risk patients .. even then, we had a fabulous stay in a hotel very clean and offering enough activities for all ages. A great location where going up the mountain ( weather allowing) is a dream with a golf cart or ride around the lake with an e-bike. At the hotel, the indoor pool is clean and so enjoyable on rainy days, and on sunny days the outdoor pool and pond ( cold but nice) are a dream.. We never felt there were too many people in the pool even with a fully booked hotel. Again the genuine kindness of the whole staff ( a special thank you to reception and restaurant) made the stay a true delight .. there is down the street a small shop to get basic things. also, a very dog-friendly hotel and town that even has a dog beach on the lake .. do not miss out on the nice chill-out bars and cafés on the lake. We totally recommend this hotel, in this area, it is definitely a good choice.…
Fantastic family run Hotel all the staff so helpful nothing is to much trouble Biking hiking golfing swimming and wellness something for all the family Food is out of this world from a Great breakfasts to cakes in the afternoon and a superbly presented dinner in the evenings Can’t wait to visit again
We stayed here for a short break and overall had a very good experience. A few minor tweaks would give this hotel best ratings from us. We had a junior suite, which wasn’t one of the most recently refurbished rooms, but it was spacious, with nice furnishings, a view of the lake from the balcony, and a very comfy bed. We arrived early but our room was ready, despite the hotel being fully booked. There was a light lunch buffet as well as afternoon cakes included in the rate. We liked the spacious spa area and especially the natural pond, which had just the right temperature for swimming on a warm day. Dinner was excellent, with a good wine menu, plus attentive and friendly service as well. We were not-so sure about some of the decoration choices in the restaurant in particular, we missed a bit of a coherent style. The restaurant terrace is positioned against a hedge, which shields against a local road and this felt a bit inconsistent with the rest of the setting. Thank you to the hotel staff for letting us use the lovely leisure facilities on the day of departure.…
I visited this fabulous family run hotel for the second time - it is an absolute gem which is beautifully run and the staff are an absolute delight. I had a deal which included breakfast, lunch, cakes at tea time and dinner. The rooms are a good size and have every amenity that you can wish for although my view was not as good as last years but they are well cared for. Food is excellent and varied, buffets at breakfast and lunch and a four/ five course dinner which is more formal in style and menu selected at breakfast. You can be collected from Jenbach station and dropped off after your stay and it is part of the service. The hotel has a good gym and runs a daily fitness programme. Pertisau on the Achensee is a lovely alpine village not well known to the Brits (unless you are a fan of Elinor M Brent Dyers Chalet School books) with many good alpine and lake walks at varying levels of difficulty (and easiness). Thank you to Patricia and colleagues …
Slightly reluctant to leave a review as we don't want too many more people to discover this absolute gem! Fantastic service, breathtaking views, amazing pool and bathing pond, even at the height of the tourist season a wonderful oasis to relax and recharge. Loads of activities including hiking, lake and more adventurous, on the doorstep. The food was outstanding, the room fantastic, the staff unfailingly friendly. Extra points for a kettle in the room (which is not necessarily the norm in Austria). We hope to return many times.
Thank you for giving us a perfect holiday. We adored every second of it. You can be so proud of your hotel. The hotel is great, it is zo clean, the food was outstanding and the staff was excellent. Every single one of them did their best to give us the best experience we could have hoped for. Our special thanks go to Céline, Richard and Antus who were outstanding in enthousiasm, friendlyness en professionalism. This was nearly the best holiday I have ever had, There is no single thing you could do differently. So thank you very very much...already looking forward to a second stay !
Hotel Reiser is an example of a beautiful hotel which achieves incredible standards. There is genuine warmth and Austrian hospitality, achieved by being a well run by the Reiser family. We have visited before and return each time to the beautiful rooms, outstanding food, peace, beautiful situation and fantastic spa and pool facilities. Huge amounts of thought have gone into what is on offer. Having worked in Austria I have seen many hotels - this is the one we return to. Pertisau is a lovely small resort, far away from the intensity of the bigger destinations. In fact another reason to love this hotel are the miles of brilliant cross country runs on the doorstep.
Today I went to look at this hotel as I have booked to stay there next year with inghams. As you walk in this hotel has class and style the lady on the desk was so helpful as I ask her about the hotel I had a coffee and told the water Mark I would be back for lunch I came back at 1pm. He sat me down I had a wonderful well cooked and presented meal well done the kitchen and I must say Marks service was excellent some nice wine to There were too English guests there having lunch. Staying at the hotel. They showed me round. And I must say won me over big time. I can no wait to go back. 22 Aug. John osborne.
Our holiday at hotel Das Rieser was irreparably damaged by the failure of the hotel to provide the correct room on arrival. The problem was made worse by 3 separate actions of the staff: 1. When we told reception we had not been given the room we booked, the room they confirmed and re-confirmed a week before we arrived, she responded by telling us we had been given the room we booked. Untrue. We had to show the photographs they had earlier sent us of the room before Reception agreed we had been given the wrong room. 2. The receptionist invited us to go and have a coffee while she sorted out the problem. Over an hour later, when we had heard nothing further, we returned to Reception only to find she had done nothing while we had been left waiting. 3. Reception maintained they had made a mistake in allocating us the wrong room, something we cannot and do not believe. The automated reservation system protects against that happening without deliberate intervention. We believe we had been deliberately downgraded to make way for somebody else getting the room for which we had a confirmed reservation. Management hoped or believed we wouldn't notice and would pay the higher room rate and be happy with the lesser room. We view this as highly unethical behaviour, behaviour which greatly impacted on our enjoyment of our stay at Das Rieser. We were eventually given the correct room for 5 nights of our seven night stay and a small reduction in price. Poor compensation for the level of disruption. It was also interesting to note that the owners made no attempt to speak to us about the problem. We had to track them down to make our feelings known. The hotel, the gardens and the facilities are indeed very nice. Away from Reception and Senior Management we found the staff to be helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was top class and dinners were also very good. The hotel policy of charging for tap water is annoying.…
Just back from a lovely stay at the Rieser. Staff were great and really went out of their way to help. The Rieser is a really well run hotel and it goes to show how well family run hotels can work - the family was noticeably around and in charge and they did a really good job and likewise their team. The breakfasts were amazing and couldn’t be bettered in even more expensive establishments. Dinners were pretty good, the English translations on the daily menu sheet certainly raised a smile! A very good wine list with good Austrian and Italian wines. Very good cheeseboard with a book detailing the cheeses. I had a super room facing south and I could see the lake from my bedroom window as well as the mountain. Decor was very traditionally Tirolean. I would definitely return. What didn’t I like - the cakes on the cake buffet weren’t too hot (and no strudel or Sacher torte), the charge for tap water (which seems to happen in all Pertisau hotels) and although the service when picked up from Jenbach was slick, you were just dropped off at the station on the way back. Thank you to all.…
