Atmosphere: We reserved the room via a booking engine, and the process, re-confirmation, and pre-check-in email from the hotel was most appreciated. The lobby area was nice, but mostly peaceful and hardly utilized by guests. The patio is nice, comfortable and surrounded with lots of blooming plants. Rooms: The rooms are spacious. There is the large bed, work desk and chair, sofa and small desk, ottoman, bedside tables, power outlets, two large storage closets, small safe, robe, and more. The bathroom offers a shower/bath, amenities, hair dryer, and towels are provided. The toilet is in a separate room. Staff: The staff was super! Luis, a wonderful all-around host from working reception, bar, breakfast, and dinner. He certainly knows how to mingle and has perfected the customer service experience. His friendly and welcoming attitude was most appreciated!! Katie, receptionist, was very nice and professional and assisted me with numerous inquiries. Zoltan worked the restaurant and was friendly during our contacts. The Chef was very imaginative with the food and everything was really tasty! Food ———— Brekky: Yogurt, cereals, whole fruit, muesli, fruit cocktail, coffee/tea, breads, pastries, 4-5 juices, salad items, cheeses, spreads, sliced meats/cheese, eggs (scrambled/sunny side up/hard boiled), bacon, sausage, and more. Dinner (4 course): Salad, soup, main dish (choice of meat/fish/veggie), and dessert. The food was very good, prepped and presented well from the chef. The HP meal option was an exceptional deal for the price. Due to the Covid-19 situation, all meals were only offered to hotel guests, no outside customers. The meal options (brekky and dinner) were really a great deal and it relieved us from having to search for food during our stay. Amenities: —————- Simple lobby bar, quiet lobby, fitness room: stair machine, bike, treadmill, row machine all of which were on the older side, but still functional. We utilized the sauna area (steam, sauna, relaxation beds, and showers) every night during our stay and it was as nice to chill each evening before retiring. This hotel is at the main spot where one would want to be located as there is a happenin’ bar across the street (Yeti Bar), which was busy late into the night, while the rest of the small village went dark. The only issue during our stay was after our first night it was evident the mattress had lost its shape. We spoke with Katie, reception, the next morning and she had the mattress changed. We slept well for the remainder of our stay. There are roughly eight parking spots located directly behind the hotel. A larger, underground parking lot is located a couple blocks away. When possible, I always make the effort to give a business the chance to correct an issue, which Hotel Tia Monte passed with flying colors. Overall, we had a great stay at Hotel Tia Monte. The staff (Luis, Katie, and others), food, location, amenities, were very good. We enjoyed the laid-back feel of Nauders compared to Livigno, which I felt was way too hectic. Hotel Tia Monte is located in the main section of town with a bar and supermarket nearby. If traveling around the southern triangular region again, Nauders and the Hotel Tia Monte will certainly be at the top of our list and I would highly recommend!…
