The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed (not only are the boss and his wife present and warmly accommodating, the restaurant team also maintains a good tone with one another!)
The caring employee in the hotel's own wellness area "pushes" her work with enthusiasm. Reliable infusions in the sauna. My husband went to the Alpen-Therme to swim in the natural bathing lake and I enjoyed the sauna in the hotel with a great view of a brightly colored stone column in front of the glass wall of the sauna. Drinking fountain in the wellness area (during opening hours) is centrally located. Bathrobe also XXL in the room and a smaller size - suited us right away.
The cuisine was very satisfactory for me as a vegetarian who likes to combine delicious side dishes and order them as a main course: spinach, chanterelle risotto, steamed vegetables, excellent salad buffet! and much more.
In the morning: freshly squeezed orange juice, pineapple and other exquisite fresh fruits on offer! My husband was even able to order a double espresso - without paying extra, which was really strong (he doesn't like filter coffee at all). Pastries in the morning and evening were of above-average taste. Dessert buffet even twice a week; starter buffet several times - really great!
The lunchtime snack was a "felt" full board with soup, a cooked main course (e.g. ham noodles, lentil curry etc.), pastries and salads, as well as a pastry (e.g. fruit cake, brownies, curd cake...) - starting at 2 p.m., which was actually an hour too late for me.
The ambience in the dining room was elegant and the musical accompaniment was varied at my request - the restaurant manager was always open to special requests: e.g. a hot chocolate with soy milk or oat milk - no problem. An evening with piano music during dinner enchanted with many well-known melodies.
The hotel's location was completely central - a few steps from the church; supermarkets in the next street; a fountain splashes in front of the house (we lived in the Palais building, 1st floor with terrace).

It was most beautiful new year stay with family Norica hotel. The owners, staff and all the team are so kind, attentive and hospitable. You really feel like at the family place. Amazing spa complex is easy to reach in your bath robe and if you do not want to go to the big spa complex you can easily stay at the home spa, which is great, new and comfortable. We were mixing both spas.
Rooms are really clean, stylish, and very comfortable. For last 3 nights we were lucky to use Sky Lux, it was absolutely unforgetable, you really sleep in nature, under the stars. And you feel like a star. Or you take a bath near the window screen from floor to ceiling. As per food - it is very good, natural, every day you have wonderful breakfast, which includes really everything. They cook individually your eggs, omelettes, crepes, pancakes, all is so fresh and nice smelling! Variety is really wide and nothing finishes, whenever you come to your breakfast.
During the day you have also a kind of lunch, included in to your room price, which has always a soup, hot meal and a choice of deserts. And of course, amazing dinner in the end of your day!
We strongly recommend this hotel and are planing to come again soon.

We came to Norica Hotel from New York city . Bad Hofgastein where Norica hotel is located is a wonderful place if you are looking for quiet and relax. The hotel is located in the city center which is so comfortable. To be honest this hotel one of the best we've ever been before . Exelent staff, food is delicious and exquisite, rooms are very clean and modern . And one of the best points of that hotel is direct connection with termal spa which makes it exclusive because you walk down only in bathrobe and slippers and can enjoy thermal water , saunas and wonderfool views .
that hotel has a direct ski bus from entrance to ski lift .
Highly recommend this hotel to visit!!! It worth it to overcome the distance from Amirica to Bad Hofgastein for such a relaxation. Tykhomyrov Family + Kravtsov Family

Everything was perfect. Excellent room, large bathroom, hi quality food of all kind, staff very polite and amiable. We would return at this hotel every year. It is situated in the very center of the town and not far from the cable station.

Excellent dinner.
Great waiter Pavol, who also has a positive influence on the performance of other team members. However, if he is off, the quality of service drops greatly. Then no one comes to offer a drink with dinner or coffee with breakfast.
Excellent housekeeping.
It is very convenient to walk through the connecting corridor from the hotel directly to the Alpentherme.
-
Average breakfast with lousy coffee.
Very often we came across a dirty plate or bowl.

Stayed there for ten days. Experience was almost perfect. Beautiful rooms, very good service, excellent spa, Alpentherme is a large and modern facility with plenty of opportunities to relax. Funicular is a 15mins walk away. Not the cheapest hotel in Gastein, but I found it worth it.

Lovely spa but the €77 facial was appallingly bad! I have never had such a bad facial before and had to wash my face afterwards.
Stick to the steam rooms etc. The saunas and steam rooms and relaxation rooms are good.

We had booked rooms at the hotel 6 months in advance. Upon arrival to the hotel, thay made us wait for a long time before telling us they had overbooked and we were shipped to another hotel. It turned out that the "new" hotel had only 3 stars, Norica has 4. We informed Norica that we were not happy with this solution. After an hour waiting for them to find a solution, they told us we could move back to Norica after 4 days. After 3 days, thay called us and told us we had to move out of the 3 star hotel, but we were not moving in to Norica, but across town to another hotel. They wanted us to stay there one night, before checking in to the room we had ordered in Norica. Then we told them that we would not move anymore. We never got to stay at Norica hotel, we were just badly treated by the staff, and spent much of the holiday waiting for help and switching hotels. This is the worst customer treatment we have ever come across!

We stayed a week in the hotel in July this year. All our orders were met - we had a beautiful 4th floor suite, bath robes and towels for the Spa included. The food was superb. My husband and I have very different tastes in food and both our needs were well satisfied. Staff were friendly. We seemed to be the only English speaking people there, certainly in the hotel, and possibly in the town. If you like trational Austria, this is the place for you. Our stay the hotel gave us access to the town's Alpentherme, price included. We went there, via an underground connection, every afternoon and relaxed in the sauna world after a great day walking on the mountain.
We both returned home rejuvenated and committed to return next year.

We are currently staying in Hotel Osterreicherhof and having a wonderful stay. All the staff are friendly and courteous. When we arrived back after a long walk to refill our 3 water bottles in The Celtic Spa I was upset to come across a very abrupt member of staff that works there from Hotel Norica. She had an issue with me getting water and informed me that the water was only if I was using the sauna and not to take away. There is no sign informing anyone of this. How ridiculous that a staff member is so unfriendly that she would not allow me to have 3 small bottles of water for my family. Was I going to drain the water system? I made a complaint at the reception of Hotel Norica and I was informed that she would inform management of the incident I had with Edith. She also informed me I could take water if I wanted. The receptionist was fine but could also improve in her customer service skills. I am extremely environmentally aware and do not wish to buy lots of plastic bottles of water while on holiday and will refill when possible by keeping 3 bottles for us for the week. Hotels should be discouraging the use of plastic where possible not pointing at all the plastic cups beside the tap and telling me this is what they are for which Edith did. Our seas are littered with plastic and it is up to everyone to play there part. Recycling is no longer the answer we must try to minimise our use of plastic in the first place. I was also extremely upset that Edith decided to speak to customers about why I was upset and informing them I was filling 5 bottles and not 3. I hope not all your staff are as unfriendly and unprofessional as Edith. My 11 year old daughter no longer wanted to use The Celtic Spa because of Edith. Very nice to upset an 11 year old all over a little water. The Celtic Spa name made me laugh considering I am Irish. With this name it should be friendly like us Celts. It really is a shame as the spa is beautiful. I was going to give a glowing review of the spa.
